Barbour, 42, has become one of the most prominent sports presenters on UK television in recent years.
The St Johnstone fan has worked for the BBC for a number of years, featuring on iconic programmes such as Final Score and Football Focus.
She's also filled-in on hosting duties on Match of the Day 2.
In 2017, Barbour also became the Beeb's lead golf presenter and has covered several of the game's biggest championships since.
She is, however, probably most well known as the host of Sky Sports' Scottish football coverage, a role she's been in for the past six years.
But with the new Scottish Premiership season still more than six weeks away, Barbour has revealed an exciting new role she'll be undertaking over the summer.
And it's rather different to her usual duties in the presenting chair!
She's revealed she'll be swapping the studio for the commentary box at this summer's Women's European Championships.
Barbour will be one of the lead commentators on BBC Radio Five Live's coverage of the big finals in Switzerland.
While it's a major departure from her usual roles, it's something the Scot's been well prepared for!

She's been doing radio commentaries for the past year, and has covered huge games including Arsenal's Women's Champions League showdown with Real Madrid last month.
Now, she's ready for the Euros.
Taking to Instagram, Barbour revealed she'd landed a major career achievement by securing the commentary gig this summer.
She said: "Very excited to be part of 5 Live Sport at Women's Euro 2025 in Switzerland next month.
"This championship was a target I set myself when I started learning the art of radio commentary just over a year ago.
"At the time I didn't know if I would ever commentate live on air, never mind anything else! It's been hard work and a big step out of my comfort zone but I've loved every minute and I'm so happy to have achieved what I had hoped to do.
"A huge thanks goes to so many who have helped me along the way with guidance, wisdom, honest feedback, opportunities to improve and being a support from the co-comm chair!
"Now the real work begins, on to Switzerland!"
The Women's Euros take place between July 2 and July 27.
Scotland failed to qualify for the finals with defending champions England and Wales the two home nations to have reached the finals.

Luke Littler to star in different sport on ITV as darts sensation, 18, links up with Tony Bellew and Barry Hearn
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LUKE LITTLER is aiming to show there's just a fin margin between success and failure. Darts' world champ is joining fellow big names of sport like Tony Bellew, Steve Davis and Barry Hearn for an angling event to be shown on ITV4. That's despite the keen angler sharing a snap of a sizable catch he made at the competition in Warwickshire. The Warrington whizkid teamed up in 2024 with former Ally Pally kings Adrian Lewis and Rob Cross, plus Target Darts boss Garry Plummer. Now he'll be back at the Tunnel Barn Fishery on July 29 alongside ex-world cruiserweight boxing champ Bellew, snooker's six-time Crucible king Davis, promoter Hearn and a string of other stars - from both sides of the microphone. The 32-strong line-up also includes Lewis, Cross and James Wade from darts, as well as Derek Redmond, Gail Emms, George Groves, Johnny Fisher, Andy Goldstein, Hayley Turner and Gary Newbon. Littler hopes to show Big Fish has a more meaty meaning than just being his favourite checkout at the oche. And he also hopes to bounce back from England's World Cup embarrassment. The Nuke and Luke Humphries went into the pairs tournament as the world's top two players and the last two Ally Pally kings. 3 Luke Littler has impressed fans after taking up a new sport Credit: Instagram @lukethenukelittler BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK But they began to flounder from the start and fans had plenty to carp about afterwards. Welshman Gerwyn Price, who suffered disappointment in the final against Northern Ireland, described the duo as "rubbish" and appeared to suggest they lacked "camaraderie". Organisers have stressed their 13th annual event is "not open to the public". But a two-hour highlights package will be on ITV4 at a date to be confirmed.

Awkward moment darts hero Peter Wright left stunned as James Wade FARTS in front of him leading match to be stopped
It isn't the first time Wade's been involved in such an incident DARTS FARTGATE Awkward moment darts hero Peter Wright left stunned as James Wade FARTS in front of him leading match to be stopped Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SCOTTISH darts star Peter Wright was left stunned after James Wade appeared to break wind right in front of him during a match. Wade let rip during his 6-5 win over 'Snakebite' to reach the quarter-finals on Tuesday afternoon. Wright stepped back and laughed uncomfortably - but Wade's joke quickly backfired when the match caller told him the clash was being televised LIVE. Referee Owen Binks then informed the players: 'Oh boy, okay then… This is a streamed match guys.' Wade claimed: 'It slipped out.' And then added: 'Give it a second.' Wright thought it needed more than a second though, and Wade tried to prompt him back onto the oche, saying: 'Go ahead. Do you want nine more arrows?' It's not the first time the 42-year-old has passed wind during a darts match. He did the same less than a year ago in September 2024, also at the Players Championship. On that occasion he claimed it was his SHOES that made the noise. 'Stupid' - Josh Rock hits out at 'disrespectful' World Cup of Darts rival's on-stage antics He wrote on social media: 'I feel I must address a situation following my run to the semi-finals of PC22 today. I now consider this matter put to bed as don't wish to talk about it again.' Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Hibs Europa League fate predicted as dismissive Midtjylland boss makes bold assessment
The Danish boss is fully expecting his team to get the job done against the capital club next month Bold Midtjylland boss Thomas Thomasberg is supremely confident that his side will end Hibs ' hopes of qualifying for the group phase of the Europa League by dumping them out at the first time of asking. David Gray 's men were dealt a tough hand in Wednesday's second qualifying round draw when they were paired against a side that reached the knockout stage of the competition last season. Midtjylland boast a host of international players among their ranks including Poland forward Adam Buksa and Switzerland's one-time Rangers ' loanee Kevin Mbabu. Thomasberg led Midtjylland to the Superliga title in 2024 and only missed out on retaining their championship last season to rivals Copenhagen by a single point. The Jutland club will host the Hibees on July 24 at the MCH Arena before making the trip to Leith seven days later. The winner of the tie will progress to the third qualifying round while the loser will drop into the Conference League qualifying section at the same stage. But ex Randers manager Thomasberg is in no doubt that his team will be the ones celebrating over the two legs. He told TV2 Sport: "Yes, of course we will. "This is the first step towards that, so we have to make a really good attempt at that. We will also advance to the next round in the Europa League. Despite his confident prediction, the 50-year-old insists they will do their homework on Hibs. "Well, of course I know what Scottish football stands for," he added. "There is some speed, some physicality in the game, but we need to take a closer look at the team itself and how they do it now, and we have plenty of time for that."
