To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Ana de Armas has revealed that she broke down in tears while filming an 'intense' stunt for her new film, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. The 37-year-old is leading the way in the action spin-off of Keanu Reeves' iconic franchise, which hit the big screen today. In the blockbuster, directed by Len Wiseman, she played Eve Macarro, an assassin trained by the Ruska Roma who is on her own journey of revenge over her dad's murder. Unpacking a brutal sequence in which her character used a flamethrower against some bad guys, the James Bond actress explained that she became emotional during the first time she rehearsed the stunt before the cameras started rolling. 'I remember the first day the stunt team was practicing with the fire, and they told me to go do it before the shoot, and I said, 'No, no, no, I'll be fine',' she told Entertainment Weekly. 'They got the main fire guy that gets burned, and he's all covered in this sticky grease or whatever they put for protection, and they're like, 'Okay, go ahead. Just burn him.' And I did, and I started crying. 'It was really emotional,' Ana said of the 'intense' scene. 'I've never seen anyone burning, even though it's fake. Thankfully, she was able to gather herself quickly, and continued on with the rehearsal. 'Then I was fine,' she laughed. 'Then I burned like a hundred people. I'm glad I practiced the day before, and I cried the day before. 'But it's amazing to see what [the stunt team] do – I can't believe you guys put yourself through this. It's unbelievable.' 'The fire scene was risky, but we did it,' she added. 'It was all done the right way, and everyone was super careful, and it turned out to be an amazing experience.' After years of waiting, Ballerina is finally in cinemas now and has been met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike – it currently commands a huge audience Rotten Tomatoes score of 93% compared to a critics ranking of 72%. Many on the platform heaped praise on Ana's efforts at leading the latest instalment of the franchise alongside Keanu's John Wick. Andreas Udland wrote: 'Super entertaining. Not one dull or boring scene. Great world building. Ana gives one of her best performances.' 'Ana it's perfect choice for Ballerina,' Ibrahim H wrote. 'This movie is like John wick level, and there action just awesome. Recent pop culture time, it's a great movie, not masterpiece.' James Bond fans believe Daniel Craig's replacement will be much younger star as new actor's name is thrown in the mix
James Bond fans are speculating over who will replace legendary Daniel Craig in the new 007 First Light game. It's been four years since Daniel Craig exploded out of the film franchise in No Time To Die. And rumours have been swirling in recent months over who will take the British actor's place - with fans claiming they have worked it out. Yesterday, Bond bosses at Amazon MGM Studios unveiled the first look at a new, younger version of 007 - in an officially endorsed video game prequel. It follows a 26-year-old Bond straight out of the Royal Navy, as he embarks on a mission to earn his double-O. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It's been announced that Patrick Gibson from Dexter: Original Sin has been cast as the voice of 007 in the new computer game. Now, it's left fans convinced he will play the role of Bond in the next film. Taking to X, many Bond viewers shared their guesses as to who will replace Daniel in the movie franchise. One person wrote: 'Unless I'm mistaken, our new game Bond is being played by Patrick Gibson. Another Irish Bond in the bag, can't argue with that! Also… the scar down the cheek from the books, FINALLY!!! #007FirstLight.' Another penned: 'So James Bond is definitely played by Patrick Gibson from Dexter Original Sin.' A third added: 'Patrick Gibson as James Bond?!? This is peak casting.' A fourth said: 'Is James Bond being played by Patrick Gibson Aka Young Dexter Morgan or am I seeing things?' Familiar faces like M, Q and Moneypenny are set to appear - along with a new character, John Greenaway, a mentor figure played by Lennie James, best known for his role as Morgan in the Walking Dead. Taking to X, many Bond viewers shared their guesses as to who will replace Daniel in the movie franchise The trailer goes on to show Bond seemingly meeting Moneypenny, a young black woman with glasses, before taking on target practice and then sneaking into a museum, taking down guards. It cuts to a ruined hotel room, as Bond quips to a stunned maid walking in: 'Jet lag. Gets me every time.' He's seen racing through tropical islands on a speedboat, and disarming thugs as fireworks go off in the background - and ends on a cliffhanger as he and Greenaway are lowered towards a pit of hungry crocodiles. Bond wisecracks: 'I suppose this is another teachable moment?' British brands are featured by the boatload, from a Land Rover Discovery in the background of a fight scene to a Triumph motorbike and at least two Aston Martins - suggesting the game will be just as enrobed in British heritage as the films. While nobody has been officially confirmed as the actor playing Bond, fans of Patrick Gibson are convinced that it is him based on the spy's likeness, mannerisms and voice.
