Dakota Johnson Says Pedro Pascal Always Steals Her Clothes for a Hilarious Reason
Dakota Johnson revealed Pedro Pascal is always stealing her clothes because he is perpetually "underdressed."
Johnson exposed her costar while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 2, 2025.
Johnson and Pascal appear in the new rom-com Materialists together, though they have been friends for years.Pedro Pascal may have his own glamorous, stylish sister, Lux Pascal, to steal from, but it's Dakota Johnson's closet he has been raiding. Johnson exposed Pascal for being a clothes swiper for a hilarious, relatable reason.
The Fifty Shades star appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new rom-com Materialists. In addition to talking all things about the Celine Song-directed film, she put her co-star on blast for wearing pieces from her wardrobe.
Fallon came armed with photographic evidence, referencing a snap of Johnson and Pascal at a Stevie Nicks concert in London last year. Johnson pointed to the Gladiator actor and said, "That's my sweater."
'He does that a lot. He takes my clothes," she continued. "He's like always underdressed. Well, I mean, like he's wearing a T-shirt, and it's cold outside. Not like he forgot his pants.'
Despite his underdressed tendencies, the two have nothing but affection for each other. They interviewed one another for Elle last month, during which Johnson gushed, "I loved you very quickly," of meeting Pascal for the first time.
They went on to list some of their similarities, with Johnson quipping, "We are both incredibly good-looking?"
"Yes, we're both way smarter than we look," Pascal added. "We're both pretty silly people, I'd say," Johnson continued.
They, of course, touched on the film, which releases June 13. In it, Johnson's character works for a New York City matchmaking service, which turns complicated when she finds herself in a love triangle with a wealthy businessman (Pascal) and her imperfect ex (Chris Evans).
"I find the whole concept of the film so interesting, because it's so foreign to me. I've never dated anybody," Johnson said. "I've had boyfriends, but I have never been on a dating app. I just don't know that world. So, it was so interesting and intriguing. It's the most beautiful side of humanity, but it can also be the most ugly. Loving someone is the most scary and beautiful thing you can do."

Addison Rae Introduces Herself With Debut Album ‘Addison'
Addison Rae Getty Images for Coachella In just a few short years, Addison Rae has risen from budding TikTok star to pop music's newest 'it' girl. She made a splash on the Billboard Hot 100 last year with 'Diet Pepsi' and returned to the chart for her recent single 'Headphones On." That climb has culminated in Rae's self-titled debut album Addison, out now. Though she's only a few years into her career, Rae projects the confidence of an industry veteran on the album, as evidenced by most recent single 'Fame Is a Gun," proclaiming 'There's no mystery, I'm gonna make it, gonna go down in history / Don't ask too many questions, God gave me the permission / And when you shame me, it makes me want it more.' When reflecting on her journey and where she is now in a recent cover story with Elle, Rae explained that she's reached a place in her career where she's in control of what she does. 'I have the luxury now to say no to things I'm not interested in, or that don't feel like me or aren't reflective of who I am. It's still a job, at the end of the day. Everybody is trying to survive — I'm trying to survive and live here and do all these things that I love — but I definitely have become more intentional, because I do think saying no to things opens up a door for a much better yes,' she said. Still, she isn't resting on her laurels just as she's making her big debut in the pop world. 'What does that even mean, really, to be the pop girl? Let's see if the songs get more popular, then they can call me a pop girl," she mused to Variety. 'This is my shot. I've got to go big.'

'Like, you're happy and fun, and then…' the late-night host said, to which Sweeney added, 'And then they say, 'Action!' and then I'm screaming and crying. 'She's exactly where she wants to be,' the source told the outlet. 'Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd.' 'She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,' they added. 'This is what she wants to focus on right now.'
