Exotic car dealership suddenly no longer in service, clients seek answers
If you're driving down Beach Boulevard on Jacksonville's Southside, you'll pass Karma Automotive Dealership.
Karma opened in Jacksonville in 2022. According to Sun Biz, it is owned by Vladimir 'Val' Ranguelov, who also owns Bul Auto Sales in Albany, New York.
If you visit either of the dealerships' websites, a message pops up that reads:
'We regret to inform you we have ceased operations.'

Local television station, WNYT in Albany, contacted Action News Jax when it found out police there are investigating the dealership for potential fraud.
Customers there claimed bank loans related to cars were never paid off.
Shawn Branlund was a technician at Karma Jacksonville. On May 30th, He says he reached out to the owner after hearing of potential problems at the Albany location.
'He said to just come in on Monday, and we would talk about it, kind of explain what's going on,' Branlund said. 'On my end, I did come in on Monday to hopefully talk to the owner, Val, who never showed up, never got a hold of him. We ended up getting all our equipment out, just our personal belongings.'
I spoke to a customer of Karma Jacksonville who told me he contacted JSO on June 5th because his car was missing from the dealership.
Action News Jax obtained this video from that day that shows JSO and tow trucks taking the cars off the lot. Shawn says he never would have expected this from Val.
'He paid everyone really well, he was always taking us out on his boat, and taking us out to dinner. He's just a super nice guy, like, and definitely never saw this coming,' said Branlund.

We reached out to JSO late this afternoon to get the report from the day they responded to the dealership, but we have not received the report yet.
We reached out to the FBI in Jacksonville to find out if it had any active investigations in Karma Jacksonville.
A spokesperson for the FBI Jacksonville says, 'The FBI does not confirm nor deny the existence or status of any investigation.'
We tried to contact the owner directly at two different phone numbers, but were unable to get in contact with him

Blackshear couple arrested in connection with the death of their baby, drug possession: GBI
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced this month that it arrested a Blackshear couple during an investigation into the death of their baby. GBI said that Dustin Sauls, 41, and Cierra Chancey, 36, are charged with concealing death and possessing cocaine in connection with the death of their 6-month-old child. The Baxley Police Department, located in Appling County, had first requested the assistance of GBI in the case more than two years ago, in September 2022. GBI said that preliminary information indicated that Sauls and Chancey delayed reporting the baby's death and had cocaine at the time. An autopsy was later completed by the GBI Medical Examiner's Office. GBI said the investigation is still ongoing. Armed suspect arrested by SWAT after standoff in Gold Bar, WA
The Brief There was a standoff between an armed man and a SWAT team in Gold Bar Thursday night. Authorities say the incident began as a domestic violence call that turned into an active scene. The suspect was eventually taken into custody and booked into the Snohomish County Jail. SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. - A SWAT team took a man into custody after a standoff in Gold Bar, Washington, Thursday night. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) announced the standoff on social media at around 9:52 p.m. Authorities said Region 1 SWAT was on scene at a residence on May Court Road negotiating with an armed suspect who was barricaded inside. What they're saying "The suspect has fired multiple rounds," the SCSO wrote in the post. "The subject is alone inside the residence and deputies are actively negotiating with him." At about 11:13 p.m., authorities announced that the man had been taken into custody and there were no injuries. Florida Sheriff Threatens to Kill Unruly Protestors Ahead of Saturday's 'No Kings' Protests: 'Graveyard Dead'
A Florida sheriff issued a violent warning to potential protestors in his county during a June 12 press conference. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey warned that if any protestors get violent with law enforcement, "We will kill you graveyard dead." Dozens of nationwide "No Kings" protests are planned for June 14, coinciding with President Donald Trump's multi-million dollar military parade in Washington, County Sheriff Wayne Ivey issued a violent warning to potential protesters in Florida on Thursday, June 12. Speaking to reporters from behind a podium emblazoned with the words, 'Florida: The anti-riot state,' Ivey said he, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, and his fellow law enforcement personnel welcome democratic, peaceful protests. However, he said, 'If you let it turn violent — whoa, you do not want to do that in Brevard County." "If you spit on us, you're going to the hospital, and then jail," he warned. "If you hit one of us, you're going to the hospital and jail, and most likely [will] get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs that we have here."
