Rumours of a long-standing rift between actress Nayanthara and popular anchor-turned-actress Dhivyadharshini have long been one of the most intriguing topics in Kollywood. Many social media users blamed Nayanthara and labelled her 'arrogant' following Dhivyadharshini's old statement in which she mentioned that an actress once asked her to change her outfit, as the actress felt Dhivyadharshini's attire looked better than hers during an interview. Now, the anchor has come forward to clarify the speculation once and for all. Speaking to Galatta in a recent interview, Dhivyadharshini addressed the controversy and expressed her disappointment over how the situation spiralled online.'When Nayanthara's name got involved in the incident, I felt heartbroken — that's absolutely not the truth. People began posting pictures of us in similarly coloured clothing on social media, and I have to tell you that the actress I was referring to wasn't her,' she said. She further added that the Jawan actress had recently complimented her at a public event for her outfit. In fact, even recently, when I met her at an event, she sent me a message saying she liked what I was wearing. So it hurts me when rumours are baseless, especially when they involve someone I admire.'The original incident in question dates back to an old interview where Dhivyadharshini recalled feeling hurt when an actress allegedly asked her to change her outfit because both were wearing similar ensembles. Although she never mentioned anyone by name, netizens were quick to draw conclusions and speculated it to be Nayanthara, citing photos of the duo in matching attire. On the professional front, Nayanthara was recently spotted in Mumbai filming Toxic, a gangster action period film that also stars Yash in the lead. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is being shot in both Kannada and English and is scheduled for a grand release on 19 March 2026.The movie also features Kiara Advani , Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Achyuth Kumar, and Akshay Oberoi in key roles.Nayanthara is also rumoured to be teaming up with Chiranjeevi for a new film directed by Anil Ravipudi. She has several projects in the pipeline, including 'Dear Students', 'Mannangatti: Since 1960', 'Mookuthi Amman 2', and a project with Mammootty.

Producer Naga Vamsi drops a cryptic Sanskrit clue, hints at Jr. NTR–Trivikram mythological film on Lord Karthikeya

Picture Credit: X There have been multiple rumors for a long time regarding the Young Tiger Jr. NTR collaborating with director Trivikram Srinivas for his next film. While there hasn't been an official announcement just yet, a cryptic post by producer S. Naga Vamsi seems to have confirmed the news. Today, on June 11, Naga Vamsi took to social media and posted a series of Sanskrit slokas referencing the god of war—Karthikeya, also known as Skanda and Murugan. His post in Sanskrit loosely translates to English as, "He is Kartikeya, the great commander, born of the divine spark, the six-faced one, son of Parvati, known as Skanda, the commander of the celestial army, and the bearer of the Raghu lineage's honor." He later also added, "I worship the protector of the worlds, who rides a peacock, is the essence of great philosophical truths, the enchanting one who dwells in a beautiful land and whose mind is deeply profound, the great Lord of the Lords of the earth, embodying the essence of the great Vedas, the beloved son of Mahadeva (Shiva)." While he did not mention any names, the timing of the post—just as rumors of Jr. NTR's casting began to surface—has led many to believe that the actor is indeed leading the mythological drama. This collaboration would mark Jr. NTR's second outing with director Trivikram after their successful 2018 film 'Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava,' which was both a critical and commercial success. Earlier, Allu Arjun was widely reported to be attached to this project. However, a 123Telugu report suggests that the project has taken a new direction with Jr. NTR being brought on board. If the film indeed revolves around Lord Karthikeya, it would be the director's first mythological film.
