A motorcyclist died after a crash involving another vehicle on the inner loop of Interstate 695 on Sunday that at one point closed all lanes of traffic.
The crash was reported at Exit 30B for MD-41 Perring Parkway. Though the State Highway Administration initially advised the public to use an alternate route because all lanes were closed, one lane has reopened as of 10:27 p.m. Sunday.
The crash was reported at about 9:05 p.m., according to the Maryland State Police's Golden Ring Barrack duty officer. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the second vehicle involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
