Jennifer Lopez kisses multiple dancers at AMAs after divorce
NEW YORK — Jennifer Lopez made out with multiple backup dancers Monday when she opened the American Music Awards with a dance set to a medley of nominated songs. The public displays of affection came on the heels of finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this year.
A male dancer smooched the newly single Bronx-born pop star, 55, who then kissed a female dancer during the transition from Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' to Teddy Swims' 'Lose Control.'
The seven-minute, often steamy performance opened the Memorial Day awards show, which Lopez also hosted.
Earlier this month, Lopez posted selfies of her bruised eyes and a cut on her nose she'd suffered '(during @amas rehearsals),' for which she ultimately needed stitches.
Also Monday, Lopez revealed she's doing a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Dec. 30 to Jan. 3 and for much of next March.
This time a year ago, headlines were rife with speculation that she and 52-year-old Affleck were headed for divorce, during which Lopez canceled her tour.
Though Lopez and the Oscar winner were engaged in the early aughts — and ultimately married and had kids with Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner, respectively — it wasn't until summer 2022 that the stars wed, once in July and again in August.
The 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' singer filed for divorce in August 2024, on their second wedding anniversary. The divorce was finalized in January.
Lopez recently told Spanish newspaper El País that she's in 'the best' period of her life.

Report: If Steven Adams leaves in free agency, Rockets eyeing Brook Lopez as backup plan
When the Houston Rockets signed Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks in 2023 free agency, they also pursued Bucks center Brook Lopez. But in the final hours, Lopez spurned Houston to stay in Milwaukee. Two years later, however, the interest from a basketball standpoint is still there. If backup center Steven Adams leaves the Rockets this offseason, The Athletic's Kelly Iko reports that Houston could again pursue Lopez in free agency: If Adams leaves, team sources said the Rockets could reignite their interest in Brook Lopez. The 37-year-old, who averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game (while) shooting 37% from 3 in Milwaukee last season, was previously a target for Houston. He would theoretically be a fit, given his two-way production and health (played 237 games over the last three seasons). Advertisement Lopez will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, with negotiations open to all teams on June 30. To be clear, Houston's priority will be Adams, who is several years younger (at 31) and is coming off an extremely strong run in the 2025 NBA playoffs. But as an unrestricted free agent, he will have other options — and the Rockets can't offer a starting role, given the presence of All-Star incumbent Alperen Sengun. Interestingly enough, one of the reasons Lopez stayed with the Bucks two years ago was presumably the fact that Milwaukee appeared much closer to title contention. But the aging Bucks are reeling and dealing with a potential trade request from franchise cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo, while the young and improving Rockets are coming off a 52-30 season with the NBA's fourth-best record. Advertisement The landscape has changed, and that might make the Rockets more of a draw to Lopez, this time around. However, Adams remains Houston's preference. Both Adams and Lopez could potentially play alongside Sengun in double big lineups, which the Rockets increasingly used as the 2024-25 season progressed. The ability of Lopez to also hit 3-pointers could mitigate some of the floor spacing concerns with those units, though Adams is clearly the superior rebounder. Man accused of shooting out officer's tire during Nicholasville Road chase
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington man faces numerous charges after reportedly shooting out a police cruiser's tire during an early morning chase on Nicholasville Road. The Nicholasville Police Department (NPD) announced that in the early morning hours of June 3, one of its officers was shot at and uninjured while allegedly trying to pull 23-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez Lopez over. Read more of the latest Kentucky news Lopez was reportedly seen driving 'at a high rate of speed' in the Catnip Hill Road area, pulled to the shoulder, and sped away. According to NPD, the officer followed Lopez to document the vehicle's license plate. When the two passed into Fayette County, the officer reportedly turned around and ended the pursuit. But Nicholasville police said that Lopez followed. As he passed the officer, he allegedly shot at the police cruiser, hitting the front driver-side tire and disabling the vehicle. Lopez reportedly fled into Fayette County and was located by Lexington police using 'numerous resources,' including Flock cameras. Some characters have been removed, such as the alien antagonist Gantu. Cobra Bubbles is also only a federal agent in this version and the social worker named Mrs. Kekoa is added. Lastly, the ending is mostly different with a chaotic spacecraft crash and Nani ultimately giving up custody of Lilo to their neighbor, Tūtū, to attend college in California. Oh, and Pudge (the fish that controls the weather, according to Lilo) doesn't eat peanut butter sandwiches. Instead, it's lettuce and tomato sandwiches.
