In her legal statement, Taylor Swift emphasized the disturbing nature of Wagner's claims: he had 'made various statements about living at my property,' claimed to be 'in a relationship with me,' and insisted she was 'the mother of his son,' all of which Swift described as 'untrue and disconnected from reality.' She added, 'I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him,' further revealing that she has a 'fear of imminent harm.

Court documents state that Wagner first appeared at Swift's L.A. property in 2024 and returned multiple times, most recently in May 2025. Security teams uncovered that he had previously been in prison and had sent the singer long, handwritten letters from his jail cell, detailing fantasies of a relationship that never existed. Wagner even went so far as to include Swift's home address on his driver's license.
The court has granted a temporary restraining order, valid through June 30, in an effort to protect Swift from further encounters.
