
GPSC recruitment 2025: Apply for 102 DSO/ DM posts till July 9, details here
The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment to Deputy Section Officer / Deputy Mamlatdar, Class-3 Class-3 under Advt. No. 8/2025-26. Candidates can apply for the posts at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in till July 9, 2025.
The Preliminary exam will be conducted on September 7, 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 102 vacancies. Applicants should be between the ages of 20 and 35 years as on July 9, 2025. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates.
A candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree obtained from any recognised University. A basic knowledge of computer application is required. Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi. More details in the notification.

Breakfast scheme in all aided schools in Tamil Nadu from July 15
CHENNAI: The state government is set to expand the Chief Minister's breakfast scheme to government-aided schools in urban areas in the state. With this, all government and government-aided schools will be covered under the scheme. According to officials in the school education department, the expansion will be rolled out on July 15, marking the birth anniversary of former chief minister K Kamaraj, which is also celebrated as Educational Development Day. The elementary education directorate has sent a list of 1,416 schools, almost all of which are government-aided schools in urban areas to the district officials. They have been asked to check if any school has been left out from this list and send a report to the directorate to facilitate the implementation of the scheme. At present, 17.53 lakh students in 34,987 government and government-aided schools are benefiting from the scheme. Launched in September 2022, it was extended to all government schools by March 2023. In the 2024-25 academic year, the breakfast scheme was further expanded to include government-aided schools in rural areas. In the latest budget, Rs 600.25 crore was earmarked for the scheme while it is expected to increase further with the expansion. Under the scheme, students are provided breakfast items such as upma, kichadi, and pongal, accompanied by sambar.

The Staff Selection Commission has released the final answer key and candidates' response sheet for the SSC Constable (GD) examination. Candidates who appeared in the recruitment exam can download the SSC GD final answer key and response sheet from the official website at SSC GD 2025 final answer key, response sheets released(Official website, screenshot) Candidates can download the final answer key and response sheets by entering their Application Number and Password. Prior to this, the commission had released the the results on June 17, 2025, for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. The exam was conducted the exam in computer-based test (CBT) mode from February 4 to February 25, 2025. There were a total of 160 marks for 80 questions. Candidates were given 60 minutes to complete the exam.
