Martin Kemp shared his thoughts on the rumoured Beckham feud
Martin Kemp has issued a warning to the Beckhams regarding Brooklyn Peltz Beckham's marriage.
This month saw Brooklyn, 26, the eldest of David and Victoria Beckham's children, and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, notably absent from David's milestone 50th birthday festivities.
Speculation about a possible rift has been ongoing in recent months, though there has been no formal statement on the matter.
More recently, Brooklyn stirred further speculation by sharing a cryptic message alongside a video of him and his wife of three years.
His caption read: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby."
Amid the ongoing feud rumours, Martin, 63, offered his perspective on handling potential in-law relationships that might not meet parental approval.

During an appearance on Loose Women and Men this week, he recounted: "I will tell you what happened with me, and I think it happens with a lot of boys as well.

"Girls, they want to go home and see their mum a lot of the time, so they want to stay connected.
"Boys, I myself and my brother, from my experience, once they leave and they set up their own family unit, that is them.
"I look back at my time and I wished... the biggest wish that I have is that I spent more going home to see my mum and dad."
Warning the Beckhams to tread carefully, he cautioned: "Now, I think the Beckhams have to be really careful here because they could push young Brooklyn away.
"What they need to do is, Brooklyn has his own family unit now, that is him and her, you might not like who your kids are with, but you do have to accept them."
Martin, who is father to presenter Roman Kemp and singer Harley Kemp, went on to say he's had to bite his tongue over his kids' romantic choices in the past, but revealed: "I find myself in a really lucky situation, I love who my boy and girl are with."

The Beckham family is no stranger to headlines speculating about internal conflict.
In 2022, Nicola broke her silence on the supposed tension with Victoria, after she didn't wear a wedding dress designed by her mother-in-law.
Speaking with The Sunday Times, she said: "It's not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, 'feud, feud, feud'.

"I don't know why they say feud. I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they're labelling it 'feud'?' No family is perfect!" noting, "I don't know why they say feud. I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they're labelling it 'feud'?' No family is perfect!
"But the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn's mum got to make that for me! And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn't end up wearing it."
Representatives for David, Victoria, Brooklyn, and Nicola have been approached by Reach PLC, but are yet to receive a comment.

Dan Osborne puts on united front with Jacqueline Jossa amid 'flirty texts'

Reality star Dan Osborne has headed on another family trip with Jacqueline Jossa and their kids as they continue to focus on their marriage after announcing their split in March Dan Osborne has continued to prove he is trying to make things right with Jacqueline Jossa and focus on their family amid reports he sent "flirty texts" to Christine McGuinness. The couple tied the knot in 2017 but, following months of speculation, announced in March that they had decided to spend time apart. However, just weeks later it seemed like they were not ready to give each up just yet as they jetted off to Mexico for a "make or break" family holiday with their children. Speaking to the Mirror, a source said the pair were "trying to fall back in love with each other again." ‌ They explained: "They've had a rocky, up and down relationship so now they're trying to do things differently and give each other more space at home, while enjoying this holiday. Jacqueline and Dan want to be together for their children and do want to be a family, but now it's a case of remembering why they were together in the first place. ‌ "It's been a tough road, and they know things need to change to make this work." Dan, 33, and Jacqueline, 32, have continued to put in the effort and have jetted off on another family break together. As they carve out their path of reconciliation, Dan shared snaps from their trip to Ireland with daughters Ella, 10, and Mia, six. They enjoyed a day in the countryside walking alpacas while looking out over sandy beaches. In a heartwarming moment, Dan cuddled Mia as they cherished the family day out together. Their trip comes just days after reports that Dan had reached out to model Christine as they both dealt with their marriage breakdowns. Christine was going through a divorce from funnyman Paddy McGuinness, and it was thought the pair found solace in each other's situation and formed a stronger bond. The Real Housewives of Cheshire star's marriage was over, but Dan was reportedly still trying to mend his broken home with the EastEnders star. ‌ According to the Sun, the pair who have known each other since 2019, had stayed in touch in the years and remained amicable when they bumped into each other, but sparks soon became noticeable. A source told the publication: "They stayed in touch sporadically and would bump into each other at events and their messages got pretty flirty. Some were seen by mutual friends. ‌ 'She would call him 'D' in texts, and it became an open secret among their circles. There is no suggestion anything sexual happened, but it's fair to say there was a spark between them." The insider insisted: "She is absolutely adamant nothing sexual happened between them. She also was 100 per cent single at the time and could chat to anyone she wanted.' Former TOWIE star Dan is also adamant there was no romance between the pair with a pal saying: "Dan is devoted to Jacqueline and would hate for any suggestion of impropriety. Of course, it's possible for a man and woman to be mates.' Christine and Paddy split after 11 years together. Despite breaking off their marriage vows, the duo stayed living together for the sake of their three kids.

Coronation Street bosses urged to wake up over bad stories

The programme has been slammed by viewers for its over-reliance on serious crime stories and the under-utilisation of established characters, something that many believe was the reason for its poor showing at the British Soap Awards. Corrie, which first aired all the way back in 1960, was outshone by rival soap operas like EastEnders last week, leading to concern from some ITV viewers. How many awards did Coronation Street get at the 2025 British Soap Awards? The only title won by Coronation Street at the British Soap Awards last week was claimed by David Neilson (Roy Cropper) for the Outstanding Achievement category. According to the Radio Times, the rest were won by Hollyoaks, Emmerdale and EastEnders. Coronation Street bosses told to 'wake up' as show 'worst' it has been in years Taking to the Coronation Street Reddit, one fan simply demanded that the showrunners "wake up" and added that it "absolutely deserved to get no awards" last week. They wrote: "The soap awards should be a massive wake-up call. Corrie absolutely deserved to get no awards, sorry to say, not compared to EastEnders. "The show has been a constant crime saga with pointless loopholed stories carried by meaningless characters. I remember corrie in the 2017/18 days when they did Aidan's suicide, Bethany's grooming plot, David's rape. "Going even further back, I remember Kirsty and Tyrone's domestic abuse storyline, which was heavily lauded. Even the racism with Max/Lauren and Alia alongside Geoff's abuse of Yasmin was heartbreaking to see. "Yes, they were miserable and dark stories, but they were relevant stories and had us hooked, and we cared so much about what these characters were going through." They added: "It's ridiculous how established characters are being sidelined for newer ones who haven't even built a rapport with audiences. "Work with some charities and do further research on issue-based stories that can be explored instead of being lazy and recycling constant cheating and crime storylines with the same predictable characters. "I get the newer actors are probs cheaper to use and easier to fit in anywhere to make up a storyline but overusing them creates resentment towards them. "Use them sensibly and start giving the older cast members more meaty storylines." Recommended Reading: Finishing the complaint, the ITV viewer said: "Listen to your audiences for once, otherwise these pointless stories that always revolve around cheating and crime are further going to decrease your popularity." Other fans of the show agreed with one user writing: "Not going to lie. I do still enjoy Corrie. But there needs to be more 'kitchen sink'/Rovers scenes. The occasional trauma-based storyline better executed. It's like they pick and choose which they want to do well." Another added: "Coronation Street has been the worst I have ever known it in the past 12 months."

EastEnders star to quit BBC soap after four years 'to look for other opportunities'

Bobby Brazier who plays Freddie Slater in EastEnders is set to leave the iconic BBC soap in by the end of the year. Bobby Brazier is set to leave Albert Square as his time on EastEnders is over after a four-year stint. The actor and model, known for his role as Freddie Slater, has gained a lot of attraction and offers following his time on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023 where he finished runner-up. The 22-year-old's exit from Walford is scheduled for later this year, the Mirror reports. As an EastEnders spokesperson confirmed: "We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.' ‌ A source close to the show, told The Sun: "Bosses recently met with Bobby to discuss a potential storyline, but Bobby felt this was the right moment to explore new ventures beyond the series. ‌ "The timing aligned perfectly for both parties. Although his final scenes are some time away, the character has enjoyed a strong run, and now is the time for Bobby to pursue fresh opportunities while EastEnders bids farewell to Freddie Slater." Bobby's departure from EastEnders comes amid a wave of bold casting moves by new executive producer Ben Wadey, who's reviving the drama by bringing back fan favourites including Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater), Jake Wood (Max Branning), and Max Bowden (Ben Mitchell). At the same time, Lacey Turner is taking a break from her iconic role as Stacey Slater. Since joining the soap as Freddie Slater back in 2022, Bobby has gone on to win the National Television Award for Rising Star as well as appearing on Curfew a Paramount+ drama while continuing to film for the BBC soap. Clearly enjoying his craft, Bobby recently revealed: 'I love my job. I love being on EastEnders and I love modelling. But I'll probably take a break at some point. Just travel, get inspired, meet new people." ‌ Looking back on his journey, the once-reserved 22 year old admitted that fame hasn't always felt natural - particularly during his time on Strictly Come Dancing, when he initially "wanted to get voted off." Bobby connects his unease in the spotlight back to the loss of his mother, Jade Goody, who passed away when he was only five years old. "I don't want to be famous. Maybe I did when I was younger. Now I just want to act," he candidly shared. ‌ His EastEnders storyline saw Freddie mistakenly believe Billy Mitchell was his father, leading to an emotional and intense confrontation - an early sign that Bobby had the ability to "blow us away" with his raw and honest performances. He later took on a deeply personal journey exploring ADHD representation. One standout scene - where Freddie confronted a former teacher and revisited his past school trauma. Fans praised the depth of his emotional portrayal, capturing the character's grief and anger in a way that resonated both on and off screen. ‌ In a powerful 2023 storyline, Freddie defended Stacey Slater from a violent assault attempt by Theo Hawthorne. In the gripping performance that left viewers in tears and earned widespread praise, he attacked Theo with an iron. More recently, Freddie uncovered the harrowing truth that his biological father is Graham Foster - his mother's attacker. The storyline delved into Freddie's emotional turmoil and determination as he seeks out Graham at a car dealership. In the heart-wrenching scenes that followed, Freddie made the decision to firmly cut ties with Graham leaving viewers deeply moved by the emotional moment.
