Chelsea have ALREADY paid off Liam Delap transfer fee with Club World Cup earnings alone
LIAM DELAP is off the mark - after putting Chelsea in the black.
Or at least in terms of the striker's £30million arrival from Ipswich just three weeks ago.

Delap angled his first goal for the Blues as a 3-0 win over ES Tunis booked a place in the Club World Cup knockout stages.
And reaching the last 16 means Chelsea have already earned £33.8m from the controversial tournament.
That more than covers the 22-year-old's transfer fee.
Admittedly, the £3.8m extra that the Blues have so far picked up in the CWC won't stretch much beyond paying the first half a year of Delap's sizable salary.
The former England Under-21 star signed on at Stamford Bridge until 2031 for around £100,000 a week - £5.2m every 12 months.
Chelsea didn't even have to break sweat in the fierce heat of the USA to make the opening £25m from the CWC.

Because that sum was just for participating in the 64-team tournament.
The Blues then got nothing in more senses than one in their first Group D clash as Flamengo roared back to triumph 3-1.
But victories over Los Angeles and Tunis scooped £1.5m each.
That's £3m - with a further £5.8 m added on for making the KO phase.
Fans convinced Chelsea have 'scammed their way to Club World Cup final' after Harry Kane's horror last second miss
Cold hard cash - after bringing in a forward known for his bold, hard play, something akin to an old-fashioned targetman.
Delap revealed he's relishes that bash-and-grab side of the gam e.
He said: "Yeah, I love those battles. I always have since I was a kid.
"I really love the aggressive side of it and the competitive nature of the squad.
"It's got to be controlled at times but it's my game ultimately and I enjoy it."
And he's also far from fazed at Chelsea handing him the No.9 shirt.
Big-name stars Fernando Torres, Radamel Falcao, Alvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuain and Romelu Lukaku all struggled for the Blues in that TOP.
But Delap told talkSPORT: 'I chose it. At the end of the day, it's just a number on the back of your shirt.
"The number nine has always been related to strikers, so it's something I like, but there is no pressure.
"It's too early of course to judge if Delap will be a hit with that top.
But financially, his numbers are already more than adding up for Chelsea.

Watch Matildas superstar Sam Kerr in the footage Aussie football fans have been dying to see for 18 months
It's the vision countless Matildas fans have been craving - captain Sam Kerr back running for the first time at training as she inches towards a return after 18 months out injured with an ACL injury. Kerr, 31, won't play in two upcoming matches against Slovenia in Perth - plus a fixture against Panama on July 5 - but will remain in camp with new coach Joe Montemurro's squad. Her actual return date to competitive football remains unknown, but both the Matildas and Chelsea would have been buoyed by the scenes this week at the Sam Kerr Football Centre in Western Australia. Montemurro stressed patience is key with Kerr. 'It's fundamentally a situation where she's now building her physical capacity, and we'll monitor that,' he said on Wednesday. 'The important thing is, we are working with Chelsea to make sure she's right for pre-season. 'It is an individual sort of process, but it's great to have her around the group, and her energy is fantastic.' It comes as Montemurro has less than nine months to get his squad into shape ahead of the Asian Cup on home soil. Montemurro has put an emphasis on retention of the ball, breaking the lines and pressuring opponents when without the ball. 'It's exciting to have a new game plan, and just his passion is really exciting,' defender Charli Grant said. 'He wants (us) to be one of the best footballing teams in the world and that's what we're always striving to be.' The Matildas will be without the likes of Kerr, Mary Fowler (knee) and Tameka Yallop (leg) for the upcoming fixtures, while Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord, Katrina Gorry and Cortnee Vine are all on personal leave. It means players like Grant, normally stuck behind star fullbacks Catley and Elllie Carpenter in the pecking order, will receive more game time. The Matildas kick-off against Slovenia at HBF Park on Thursday night from 9pm AEDT before taking on the same opponents on Sunday June 29, also in Perth, from 8pm AEDT. On July 5 from 4:30pm AEDT, Panama await at the boutique JE Hands Memorial Park in Western Australia.

Cooper Flagg selected first overall by Dallas Mavericks in 2025 NBA Draft
June 26 - The Dallas Mavericks selected Duke phenom Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on Wednesday night. The announcement ended a months-long buildup for the 18-year-old Flagg, who had long been projected as the top pick. The only question was which team would get a chance to take him, and the Mavericks earned that opportunity when they won the NBA Draft lottery last month despite 1.8 percent odds. Flagg figures to quickly provide a new face of the franchise for the Mavericks, who drew ire from their fan base after trading Luke Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers last season. The 6-foot-8, 221-pound Flagg helped guide Duke to an NCAA FInal Four appearance after averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks as a freshman. He won the Wooden Award as the nation's best player along with taking home other honors including ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC All-Defensive Team. The Mavericks had the No. 1 overall pick for the second time in franchise history. They also had the top selection in 1981, when they drafted Mark Aguirre out of DePaul. --Field Level Media

NBA draft: Cooper Flagg goes to Dallas Mavericks as No 1 overall pick
The Dallas Mavericks did what everyone knew they would on Wednesday when they selected Cooper Flagg as the No 1 overall pick in the NBA draft. The forward was brilliant in his single year of college basketball at Duke, which had come after he was a highly touted player in high school. When Dallas overcame long odds in this year's draft lottery to win the No 1 overall pick, there was no doubt they would go on to pick the 18-year-old from Maine. It is a move that may go some way to soothing the Mavs fanbase, who erupted in anger when the team traded superstar Luke Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year. The 6ft 8in Flagg helped guide Duke to an NCAA Final Four appearance after averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks as a freshman. He won the Wooden Award as the nation's best college player along with taking home other honors including ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC All-Defensive Team. The Mavericks had the No 1 overall pick for the second time in franchise history. They also had the top selection in 1981, when they drafted Mark Aguirre out of DePaul.
