Losing to the Atlanta Dream on Friday night, the Chicago Sky are now riding a three-game losing streak. This skid has dropped Chicago's overall record to 2-7, with its only two wins coming against the Dallas Wings who entered the day 1-10 and last in the WNBA standings.

Falling to an undefeated New York Liberty team on Tuesday, Chicago did have a couple impressive individual performances. One came from Angel Reese, who scored a season-high 17 points while adding 11 rebounds and three assists. Her frontcourt partner Kamilla Cardoso chipped in eight points and nine rebounds.
Despite falling to Atlanta on Friday, the sophomore duo stuffed the stat sheet again.

Narrowly missing her fifth double-double on the season, Reese finished with 12 points, nine rebound and three assists. Cardoso added 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots. That said, the Sky were outscored by 22 points in Cardoso's minutes and 14 points with Reese on the floor.

Following another loss, the Sky announced they had named Cardoso their Player of the Game for her all-around performance.
The Sky's 2-7 record is tied with the Connecticut Sun for last in the Eastern Conference. These two teams will meet on Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena.
After finishing last in the Eastern Conference last season, Chicago hoped some internal improvement, roster tweaks and a head coaching change could produce a more competitive team. That has not been the case so far, as the Sky's winning percentage (.222) is currently lower than it was last season (.325).
That said, there is still time for Chicago to turn its season around, as there are 35 games remaining.
