Freedom Flotilla Coalition organizers believe Israel, which has attacked their ships in the past, is responsible. Israel has not commented on the strikes. Tens of thousands perform Eid Al Adha prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM: Tens of thousands of worshippers performed Eid Al Adha prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque this morning. The chants of 'Allahu Akbar' (God is Great) were heard, heralding the first day of Eid, amidst large crowds of worshippers, despite restrictions imposed by the occupation and its settlers. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers engaged in provocative actions against worshippers leaving Al Aqsa Mosque, singing and chanting. They positioned themselves on Al-Mujahideen Street between Bab Al-Hitta and Bab Al-Asbat. The mosque's courtyards were filled with worshippers coming from Jerusalem and across the Palestinian territories, amid a distinct spiritual atmosphere, despite the restrictions and measures imposed by the Israeli authorities at the entrances to the Old City and the gates of the mosque. Coinciding with Eid Al Adha, the Israeli occupation authorities continue to impose tight security measures in Jerusalem and around Al Aqsa Mosque, preventing thousands from entering.

‘Premeditated genocide': Brazil President Lula slams Israel over Gaza war
PariscTypeface:> Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva accused Israel of carrying out 'premeditated genocide' in Gaza during a visit to Paris. 'What is happening in Gaza is not a war. It's a genocide being carried out by a highly prepared army against women and children,' said Lula at a joint news conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday. '[It is] a premeditated genocide from a far-right government that is waging a war, including against the interests of its own people,' he said of Israel's 20-month offensive, which has killed at least 54,607 Palestinians so far, according to the enclave's Health Ministry. The Brazilian leader's condemnation of Israel's offensive came as German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul told his visiting Israeli counterpart, Gideon Saar, to allow more humanitarian aid into the enclave in accordance with 'prevailing international law'.
