Meghan Trainor's clothes hang off her tiny frame... after fans get annoyed she used drugs to lose weight

Daily Mail14-05-2025

Meghan Trainor showcased her dramatic weight loss while stepping out in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
With her baggy clothes hanging loosely off of her body, the 31-year-old pop singer was spotted running errands around the city and stopping by the DMV at one point.
After admitting to using weight loss drugs, she stepped out in oversized clothes, holding up her loose jeans with a piece of shoelace likened to a belt and tied in a bow.
She paired them with a fitted, long-sleeve top and a chunky, fleece cardigan that was now so loose that the long sleeves covered her hands completely.
This comes as she faces backlash from outraged fans after the pop star, who was once famed for body positivity, admitted to using weight loss drugs following months of speculation.
She paired the casual-chic outfit with chunky, white sneakers and a pearl necklace as she strutted down the street with a smile on her face.
She looked radiant with her long, blonde tresses in a straight hairstyle, which she parted to the side and tucked behind her ears.
She rocked heavy, photo-ready makeup to snap a new ID photo at the DMV, pairing a sultry, smoky eye with rosy, pink blush and a matte, mauve lip.
Her outing comes just days after she debuted her radically new look at a concert and shocked longtime fans as she performed at KIIS FM's Wango Tango in California over the weekend.
Showing off her new boob job and weight loss from the drug Mounjaro, the post-makeover pop star looked nearly unrecognizable.
As a result, Trainor, who was once famous for her voluptuous curves and body positive pop hits like All About That Bass, drew a mixed reaction from fans.
Though they called her still 'beautiful,' many of her longtime fans criticized her for changing so much.
'She used to stand for the complete opposite of whatever it is she has become,' one fan wrote on social media.
Another added: 'Beautiful but don't go too far please. The appealing part of you was that you were relatable and normal and not too fake...'

Other fans were also shocked that she had changed the lyrics to her signature hit song All About That Bass.
In the original track, she sang: 'It's pretty clear. I ain't no size two.'
However, in the revised lyrics she performed last weekend, she sang: 'It's pretty clear. I got some new boobs.'
Comments on TikTok were divided as many fans chimed in about her new look.
'There's no bass left. Ozempic took it all,' one person wrote.
Others came to the star's defense as they praised her beauty.
'She lost the bass. But she looks healthy and happy in her own skin and that is ALLLLLL that matters.'

Martin Scorsese details devastating reaction from audiences during the first screening of his iconic 90s film

Martin Scorsese has revealed that the audience walked out in disgust during one of the first ever screenings of Goodfellas. The 82-year-old director recalled how his acclaimed 1990 gangster film had not gone down well with initial viewers due to its unrelenting violence and dark humor. Speaking to audiences at Tribeca Film Festival's 30th Anniversary Screening of Casino at the Beacon Theater on Thursday night alongside Robert De Niro, he said: 'The previews were terrible. They got mad at us. 'The first ten minutes was like an exodus from Egypt. '[They were] walking down the aisle like prophets were beating them out of the theater.' Scorsese reasoned that it was the film's humor and violence that left those early theatergoers shocked. 'Well, to be fair, they hadn't expected... I think they were really upset by… the dark humor of it. The humor and the violence together...' De Niro, who starred in the film as gangster James 'Jimmy' Conway, praised his longtime collaborator for holding 'firm' on his vision of the project. 'He's so tough with the pressure of making a movie and the money,' he said. Goodfellas, adapted from Nicholas Pileggi's book Wiseguy, famously starred Ray Liotta as American mobster Henry Hill and Joe Pesci as hardened criminal Tommy DeVito. Despite the unsavory first reviews, the picture would go on to gross $47 million at the box office against a budget of $25 million. The film – which is regarded as one of the best ever to be made – also achieved worldwide acclaim and received an impressive six Academy Awards nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director. Pesci won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Tommy. Turning his attention to the connection between Goodfellas and Casino, which was released five years later in 1995, Scorsese said: 'The idea was to take the last 15 minutes before he [Henry Hill] gets arrested in Goodfellas and make that one film: let's take that even further and just go.' 'Goodfellas is like a stand-up routine,' he added. 'You take that and extend that and see how far it can stretch until it all blasts away.' Giving advice to the filmmakers of today, Scorsese implored up and coming directors to not lose their 'amateur' status. 'Often if you get a bigger budget, it's worse in terms of production,' he said. It's horrible issues. 'It's also the more money the more risk and therefore the pressure means taking less chances aesthetically and artistically.' He said that the love one has for the art form is 'the thing you've got to hold onto with all the money flying around.'

Billy Joel reveals two suicide attempts and coma after affair with best friend's wife

Billy Joel is opening up like never before — revealing he attempted suicide twice and fell into a coma after having an affair with his best friend's wife. The shocking confession comes in Billy Joel: And So It Goes, the upcoming HBO documentary about the 76-year-old music legend's life, which premiered Wednesday at the Tribeca Festival in New York City. Joel, who was notably absent from the event amid his ongoing health battle with a brain disorder, doesn't hold back in the film's first installment—revisiting one of the darkest chapters of his life. In his early 20s, Joel was living with his Attila bandmate and best friend Jon Small, along with Small's wife Elizabeth Weber and their young son, when he began a secret affair with Weber. 'I felt very, very guilty about it. They had a child. I felt like a homewrecker,' Joel explained in the documentary. 'I was just in love with a woman and I got punched in the nose—which I deserved. Jon was very upset. I was very upset.' 'I had no place to live. I was sleeping in laundromats and I was depressed, I think to the point of almost being psychotic,' he said. 'So I figured, "That's it. I don't want to live anymore." I was just in a lot of pain and it was sort of like, why hang out? Tomorrow's going to be just like today, and today sucks. So I just thought I'd end it all.' At the height of his breakdown, Billy Joel turned to his sister, Judy Molinari, who was working as a medical assistant at the time. Hoping to help him rest, she gave him some sleeping pills—never expecting what would happen next. 'But Billy decided that he was going to take all of them… he was in a coma for days and days and days,' she recalled in the documentary. 'I went to go see him in the hospital, and he was laying there white as a sheet. I thought that I'd killed him.' 'I was very selfish,' he said, reflecting on the mindset that led to his first suicide attempt. Waking up in the hospital, Joel said he didn't feel relief or regret—instead, he became fixated on making a second attempt. Molinari revealed that Joel's second attempt involved drinking a bottle of Lemon Pledge furniture polish. It was Jon Small—despite their fractured friendship—who rushed him to the hospital. 'Even though our friendship was blowing up, Jon saved my life,' Joel said. Small later reflected on why the betrayal may have hit Joel so hard. 'He never really said anything to me. The only practical answer I can give as to why Billy took it so hard was because he loved me that much and that it killed him to hurt me that much. Eventually I forgave him.' After surviving the attempts, Joel voluntarily admitted himself into an 'observation ward.' He was released after a couple of weeks. 'I got out of the observation ward and I thought to myself, you can utilize all those emotions to channel that stuff into music,' he said. Joel's heartbreak and depression fueled his 1971 debut album Cold Spring Harbor, including the track She's Got a Way, inspired by Elizabeth. The two eventually rekindled their romance, marrying in 1973, with Elizabeth stepping in as his manager soon after. Elizabeth also inspired other hits like The Stranger, She's Always a Woman, and even appeared as the 'waitress practicing politics' in Piano Man. However, her patience ran out amid Joel's escalating substance abuse, and she left both as his manager and wife around the time of his 1982 motorcycle accident. Meanwhile, Joel recently updated longtime friend Howard Stern on his health after revealing he's been battling the brain condition called normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), which has impacted his 'hearing, vision, and balance.' 'He does have issues, but he said, "Yeah, you can tell people, I'm not dying,"' Stern said on his Sirius XM show The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, adding, 'He wants people to know that.'
