He did it again.
He did it again.
He did it again, cause, oh my goodness.
This is, this is the most mind boggling run postseason run.
I have ever seen.
Like, this team, the Indiana Pacers, were plus 5000 odds to win the NBA championship this season.
Preseason, plus 5000.
And here they are against the team that had the best point differential in NBA history during the regular season.
They go into their building, OKC that has lost one game to the Eastern Conference all season long.
And they upset them at the last second.
Tyrese Halliburton did it again.
This dude, I, like, what other dance, what other Sally, there's nothing else he can do.

It's all done.
He's done it all.
Tyrese Halliburton is immortal, dude.
Immortal.
It feels like Indiana continues to be a team of destiny, right?
I mean, like, there's just no other way to put it.
This team just continues to have games like this.
They're down 15 in the second half to, as you said, one of the greatest regular season teams we've seen, uh, a team that has been dominant throughout their entire postseason run in Oklahoma City.
They still have the resilience to have a comeback like this with multiple guys coming up clutch.
Obviously, Obi top and all the threes he hit throughout the game.
Andrew Nemhard, some of the clutch shots, clutch plays he made, really aggressive drives to the basket.

Naismith had a big 3 late in that second half in the 4th quarter as well.
And OKC.
Just kind of collapse.
I mean, like I, I, I like, is there anything you'd pin it on, like, how do they give this up?
How do you give this lead up, or is this just more in the end and just doing what they've been doing and as we've been talking about this whole postseason, Tom.
The shot making was insane.
The Andrew Nemhard play one on one where he crossed up Shay Gildris Alexander on that left wing to get to his left side and hit the 3-pointer with 2 minutes left to bring the game within 3 points.
That was one of the nastiest plays I have ever seen in the NBA Finals in their building.

Like this is the the OB top in threes.
Miles Turner didn't play down the stretch because he was so good and the, the Thunder went small down the stretch.
They wanted to switch, they wanted to be able to guard 1 through 5.
And Rick Carlisle, whatever he has imbued in this team, to give them the faith, to never let the opponent beat them at any point.
They were down.
The Pacers were down by 15 or 14 points with 858 left.
They had a 99.1% chance that Thunder had a 99.1% chance at winning this game according to Inpredictable.com.
Mike Boy's, uh, his algorithm had a 99.1% chance for Oklahoma City Thunder to win game one on their home floor with 858 remaining in the fourth quarter.

And the Pacers did it again.
Tyrese Halliburton was locked up all night long when he was in the torture chamber.
Lou Dort had him in fits, and he gets that.
He gets that matchup against Cason Wallace in that last second scenario, and I was like, he's gonna do it.
He's gonna do it.
Lou Dort has had him bottled up the last two seasons.
I, I, I, I, he got freed up in that, in that last second possession and I was just like, he's gonna do it again.
And sure enough, he gets that pull up.
Mid-range, he held up his his follow through.
He knew it was going in as soon as he released it.
Tyrese Halliburton is incredible.
The NBA, the NBA has gotten a gift from the basketball gods in Tyrese Halliburton delivering another late game, game winner, just unbelievable.

Knicks denied permission to interview Kidd, Udoka and Finch in coaching search, AP sources say

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Knicks were denied permission to speak with coaches Jason Kidd of Dallas, Ime Udoka of Houston and Chris Finch of Minnesota in a slow start to find Tom Thibodeau's replacement. All three coaches are under contract and their organizations declined to make them available for interviews with the Knicks, two people with knowledge of the details said Thursday. The people spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the interview process was to remain private. The Knicks fired Thibodeau on June 3, despite reaching the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in 25 years. They reached the playoffs four times in Thibodeau's five seasons and had won at least 50 games in each of the final two. They appear to be trying to find out if any coaches they like who currently have jobs might be added to their list along with the ones who are currently available. The Mavericks confirmed Thursday that a request was submitted and denied. ESPN first reported on all three decisions. Knicks president Leon Rose interviewed Kidd and Udoka in 2020 before hiring Thibodeau. Both also played for the Knicks, with Kidd ending his Hall of Fame career on the team that reached the 2013 playoffs — which was the Knicks' last appearance before Thibodeau's arrival. Kidd led the Mavericks to the 2024 NBA Finals, Finch has guided the Timberwolves to back-to-back trips to the West finals and Udoka took a young Rockets team to the No. 2 seed in the West this season, so none of the organizations is interested in searching for a new coach. Thibodeau thanked the organization, players, coaches and fans in a New York Times ad on Wednesday, saying the experience with the Knicks was 'something I will never forget.' ___ AP Basketball Writer Tim Reynolds in Indianapolis contributed to this report. ___

Curry, the 2023 American Century Championship winner, is back in the field to defend his 2023 title in the 36th annual tournament July 9-13 at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. The Golden State Warriors star had to miss the events in 2024 to play basketball for the gold-medal-winning Team USA at the Paris Olympics. When Curry won the ACC in 2023, he made a hole-in-one on the 152-yard 7th hole, followed by a celebratory sprint from tee to green, which was among the most prominent viral sports video highlights of 2023. It will once again be a Curry family affair with Dell and Seth Curry also joining the celebrity field of 90 sports and entertainment stars. The tournament will feature Hall of Famers from the NFL, NBA and MLB, active and retired players, and Hollywood actors, comedians and entertainers. The three-day, 54-hole event includes a $750,000 purse, with $150,000 going to the winner, plus a charity component for local and national nonprofits. The celebrity golf tournament includes fan favorites Charles Barkley, Tony Romo, Travis and Jason Kelce, Colin Jost, Miles Teller, Ray Romano, Nate Bargatze, Larry the Cable Guy, Brian Baumgartner and Jack Wagner and Jim McMahon. NFL Hall of Famers participating at Edgewood include Jerry Rice, Steve Young, John Elway, Emmitt Smith, Marcus Allen, Charles Woodson, Tim Brown, Brian Urlacher, DeMarcus Ware and Dwight Freeney. Retired MLB superstars include Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Hall-of-Famer Joe Mauer, Kevin Millar, Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley. More top players competing are Annika Sorenstam; Joe Pavelski, the former Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks center; MLB Hall of Famer John Smoltz; former Red Sox pitcher Derek Lowe; and NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen. The 2025 American Century Championship will utilize the Modified Stableford format whereby points are awarded by score per hole. The event will be televised by NBC Sports, GOLF Channel and Peacock over the course of the three days. Since its inception in 1990, the American Century Championship has donated more than $8 million to local and national non-profits including the Stowers Institute for Medical Research, a 500-person, nonprofit basic biomedical research organization.
