Ken Hinkley steals the show with brilliant one-liner

Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has delivered a brilliant one-liner after piloting his side to an upset victory over GWS on Saturday night.
The Power ended their four-game losing streak to defeat the Giants by 16 points in a hard-fought battle in Canberra.
The win keeps Port Adelaide's season alive and keeps Hinkley in the hot seat for the time being.
Hinkley will officially hand the reins to assistant Josh Carr at the end of the season in a highly scrutinised coaching handover.
Many pundits believe Carr should take over immediately, given Port Adelaide's poor start to the season.
But officials and Hinkley remain steadfast in their succession plan.
On the field, Port Adelaide improved to 5-7 on the season, playing arguably their best game of the year following last week's bye.
When asked if he had a little break during the bye week, which came after three straight losses, Hinkley had an ace up his sleeve.
'I got a decent break coming, so I didn't need too much,' he told Fox Footy.
'The highlight of this game was Ken's one-liner just then,' Brad Johnson added.
Leader Zak Butters, who was instrumental in the victory, expressed his love for Hinkley after the game.
'I love that man, I text him every day,' he said.
'That's a classic Kenny response, I wouldn't expect much else from him.'
The Giants will sweat on Toby Greene's fitness ahead of next Saturday's clash with Brisbane at the Gabba after their skipper was substituted at halftime with a nasty corked left glute at Canberra's Manuka Oval.
With the Power needing a change of fortunes, and the heat on Hinkley, captain Connor Rozee and Butters stood tall.
Butters (32 disposals) had a career-high 12 clearances, plus 20 contested possessions, while Rozee had 690 metres gained from 28 disposals.

While Port relished their first win in Canberra since 2014, GWS coach Adam Kingsley will have plenty to ponder after the Giants (7-5) were held to just one goal in the second half.
Late in the first quarter, Greene copped a knee from Aliir Aliir to his left glute in a marking contest and hit the deck in discomfort.
Greene played on under some duress but had limited movement, and the Giants substituted him for Brent Daniels at halftime.
Taylor (15 intercept possessions, nine marks) worked over Port spearhead Mitch Georgiades and set the tone with support from partner-in-crime Jack Buckley (12 marks, 24 disposals).
Canberra local Tom Green (31 disposals) gave the Giants punch and power through the midfield, while Lachie Ash racked up plenty of the ball off half-back, and Jesse Hogan and Jake Riccardi kicked two goals apiece.
Willie Rioli (two goals) and Rozee nabbed the first two goals, but the Giants settled into the game and conditions in Canberra.
Port led by two at quarter-time before GWS took a three-point lead into the main break.
Port were arguably the better team from halftime onwards but were thwarted by their inefficiency and a resolute Taylor.
The third term was just the Giants' third scoreless quarter in the past 10 years, but Port led by just seven at the final change.
Hogan cut the deficit to a point early in the final term.
Substitute Cristian Moraes kicked his first AFL goal to extend Port's lead to seven, before Ollie Wines added another from a free kick, then Joe Richards dealt the knockout blow.
The Power (4-7) will head into next Sunday's clash with Melbourne with renewed confidence.

Daley has shot at long-term Origin stability with Blues

Laurie Daley has the chance to lead NSW through a period of near unprecedented stability, with the NRL schedule providing the biggest headache for Blues selectors. Daley will announce his side for State of Origin II in Perth on Monday night, after the final game of the round between Canterbury and Parramatta. The main question for NSW selectors is how to replace Mitchell Barnett, the Warriors prop who laid the foundation for the Blues in game one, following his ruptured ACL. Stefano Utoikamanu remains the most likely option, after acting as back up for Payne Haas and his problematic quad ahead of the series opener. Keaon Koloamatangi is the other candidate, considered a more like-for-like option after being the form prop of the NRL at South Sydney for the past month. Regardless, Daley will have the luxury of calling in a player with Origin experience, with both Utoikamanu and Koloamatangi debuting for NSW in 2023. The Blues are expected to name an otherwise unchanged side for Origin II, unless other players go down in the final matches of round 14. That will mean Daley picked just one debutant across the first two matches of a series, with Max King the sole rookie for game one in Brisbane. NSW have only once gone through the first two games of a series with one or less debutants, in 1991 when there were still mass changes across the team. This situation is already in direct contrast to last year, when the Blues axed four players and Joseph Aukuso-Suaalii was suspended after their series-opening loss. Queensland are also in a state of flux, with Daly Cherry-Evans, the Maroons' captain and most experienced player in their squad, set to be dropped. Daley is, by his nature, a loyal selector. In his last stint as NSW coach he routinely opted against mass changes, and stuck with the same 17 for his entire last series in 2017. Playing into his hands this time is he has walked back into a team set up for success, after they roared back to life to win last year's series-decider in Brisbane. The age of the Blues' squad also gives Daley a chance to set up for long-term stability, with Barnett the oldest player in the game-one squad at age 31. Isaah Yeo and Mitch Moses are the only other members to have celebrated their 30th birthday. The main immediate hurdle to all of that for Daley is the NRL's round-14 schedule. Four Blues players are slated to feature for the Bulldogs and Eels, with Stephen Crichton, Zac Lomax, Moses and King to all feature. Another seven of Daley's players from the series-opening win at Suncorp Stadium were also playing on Sunday afternoon.
