Britain's Got Talent's Dec forced to apologise for Bruno's slip up during 'emotional' final
Britain's Got Talent host Declan Donnelly was forced to apologise for Bruno Tonioli's slip up during Saturday's final
Britain's Got Talent host Declan Donnelly was compelled to issue an apology shortly after the commencement of the live final on Saturday night.
This evening, May 31, marked the momentous 2025 final of ITV's beloved talent contest Britain's Got Talent, where a total of 11 acts took to the stage for their final performances in hopes of swaying the public vote to become the winner of BGT 2025.

The finalists comprised 10 audience favourites who had qualified earlier and one wildcard act, which was revealed to be Han and Fran.

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli were all present at the judges' desk to critique and praise the talent, while presenting duo Ant and Dec were in charge of proceedings.

Among the line-up gracing the finale were The Blackouts, Vinnie McKee, Olly Pearson, Stacey Leadbeatter, Jasmine Rice, Ping Pong Pang, Joseph Charm, Hear Our Voice, Harry Moulding, and Binita Chetry, reports Belfast Live.

But post a side-splitting act by comedian Joseph Charm, judge Bruno, 69, became overly enthusiastic and let slip an expletive during his critique.
Ex-Strictly Come Dancing stalwart Bruno couldn't contain himself as he said: "We were just p*****g" before instantly correcting himself, saying: "Oh sorry, we were just crying with laughter!"
Dec swiftly intervened apologising for Bruno's spontaneous swearing.

The presenter said: "Apologies if you were offended by Bruno's slip of tongue there, it's a live show, very emotional."

Social media users didn't miss a beat, taking to Twitter, now X, to voice their reactions to the unexpected slip-up.

The incident sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with several viewers finding humour in the situation. One user tweeted: "Bruno just said p*****g with laughter oooops #BGT", while another joked that the slip-up was the highlight of the final so far: "Bruno saying p*****g has probably been the best part of this final so far. #BGT".
A different account shared that they were still chuckling about the incident 15 minutes later: "I'm sorry but Bruno swearing on Britains Got Talent has got me in stitches even 15 minutes after, so funny so funny #BGT."
However, not everyone felt an apology was necessary, as they admitted to not being offended by the accidental blunder. One viewer questioned: "Who's gonna be offended by someone saying "p*****g" jeez #bgt".

Another account expressed a similar sentiment: "Imagine being offended by Bruno saying "we were all p*****g with laughter" #JosephCharm #BGT #BritainsGotTalent".
Earlier in the live final, Ant and Dec revealed that singing duo Han and Fran had secured the judges' wildcard spot
While a third user chimed in, commenting on the need for an apology: "Wow, you have to apologise now because the word p*****g was said #bgt."

Earlier in the live final, Ant and Dec revealed that singing duo Han and Fran had secured the judges' wildcard spot.
"Han and Fran got the wildcard, which I'm very pleased about," Ant announced, before head judge Simon Cowell explained the reasoning behind the decision: "They got a massive vote from the public and therefore, they deserve the shot in the final. It's as simple as that, I'm happy for them."
The Welsh-based best friends, Han and Fran, kicked off the performances with a medley of ABBA hits, including Take A Chance On Me, Does Your Mother Know, and Mamma Mia.

New Love Island star exits ITV show after bosses learn of past arrest

One Love Island star has left the ITV villa after bosses learned of his past arrest. The star, who was released with no further action, said he 'fully cooperated with the police investigation' A new Love Island star was recently removed from the line-up of the upcoming series after bosses learned of his past arrest. Kyle Ashman, who was due to take part in the dating series airing this month, is no longer entering the Spanish villa following news of his recent arrest coming to light. Earlier this year, the 23-year-old water operative was arrested and quizzed by police with another person over an attack in Stafford, which Kyle said he had no involvement in a recent statement. After being quizzed by police, he was released with no further action. ‌ Speaking on his exit, Kyle said: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." ‌ ITV also released a statement on his departure saying: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned. Staffordshire Police had previously said: 'We were called to a social club on Riverway, Stafford, at 7.40pm on Friday, February 28 following reports that someone had been glassed outside and a fight was taking place. Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. 'Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. 'Officers have reviewed CCTV footage and have been actively carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened. A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. ‌ 'Both were questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.' The police later confirmed both suspects were released with no further action last month. Meanwhile, when Kyle was meant to enter the villa, he shared his expectations from the show and shared how he flirted with women. ‌ He said: "I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there." The star went on to say he was looking for "someone that's fun, confident and just themselves".

Love Island star's SHOCK EXIT as they leave the villa ahead of upcoming series after citing 'personal reasons'

Love Island star Kyle Ashman has left the show ahead of the launch episode next Monday. ITV have confirmed the 23-year-old from Stafford has chosen not to enter the villa and has decided to leave the show for personal reasons. It comes amid The Sun's reports that Kyle was involved in an machete attack in February when masked thugs stormed a wake and hacked at a dad with a blade. Kyle was one of two arrested by police but he was released with no further action and he has now confirmed he had no involvement in the incident, but has chosen to leave the ITV show regardless. Kyle told MailOnline: 'I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. 'I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation.' Meanwhile ITV added: 'For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned.' The Love Island line up was announced on Tuesday so Kyle's departure will have plunged the show into chaos ahead of Monday's launch episode. The Sun have revealed they alerted bosses on Kyle being questioned in the attack but ITV said they were unaware of the incident and he was not flagged during the contestant checks. The incident on February 28 saw the victim, 38, nearly lose his arm after he was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and kept it for around two weeks. Another mourner was reportedly glassed, one hit with a metal pole, and two people were run over by a car during the 15 minute attack at the The White Eagle Club in Stafford. Sources said the victim was attacked by three balaclava-clad thugs over an alleged £3,000 debt. He was injured by a blade that left him with a deep gash and has suffered tendon damage and is now unable to drive. Police confirmed yesterday that after the matter had been investigated Kyle and another individual were released with no further action only last month. The incident on February 28 at The White Eagle Club in Stafford saw the victim, 38, nearly lose his arm after he was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment A show source told the publication: 'ITV were entirely unaware of Kyle's past and, as he was not charged, it was not flagged as part of Love Island's stringent DBS checks. 'It's only right he can now return home to the UK to share his side of the story and therefore bosses took the decision that it was best for him not to enter the villa.' Staffordshire Police said on Monday: 'A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. 'Both were questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.' Kyle, who works as a water operative, doesn't have a strong social media presence with just one Insta pic on his profile. Prior to his announced departure, Kyle said he was looking for 'someone that's fun, confident and just themselves'.

Love Island Sophie Lee's TV star ex ‘gutted and blindsided' she's signed up for show as they have ‘unfinished business'

LOVE Island beauty Sophie Lee's TV star ex has been left devastated after she was revealed in the villa line-up. The 29-year-old motivational speaker will soon make a splash in Majorca and it's all proving tough to take for Ouzy See, who took part in series 10 of the show. 4 Sophie Lee's casting on Love Island has taken her ex by surprise Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 4 Ouzy See believes they still have 'unfinished business' Credit: ITV A friend of the semi-pro footballer told us: 'Ouzy was really shocked and blindsided to see Sophie had signed up for Love Island. "He was gutted because he feels like there is still unfinished business between the two of them. "While they aren't dating anymore, he thinks she's an amazing girl and they ended on good terms. "It's weird for anyone though knowing your ex is about to go on Love Island and could fall for someone else on TV.' Ouzy, 30, was totally smitten with Sophie back in 2023 at the start of their fledgling romance. He accompanied her to the Beauty Awards where she won Beauty Influencer of the Year. Ouzy told us on the red carpet: "It's going really well," prompting Sophie to chime in: "He's really kind, that's my favourite thing about him." The former villa hunk then gushed: "She's inspirational. We've been dating for a few months." When asked if they were in love, they giggled and replied: "We'll see." Sophie overcame a near-death experience in her early 20s. Ten Years of Love Island The dancer, from Manchester, was performing with flaming props when the freak accident on stage in Chicago left her fighting for her life. The air-con in the venue was too powerful and blasted a fireball back at her, causing her face and chest to 'go up in flames'. Sophie told Fabulous Digital: 'The air-con was too strong so when I blew the fire out it blew back to me. It set me on fire. I just remember being in so much pain, I blacked out for a little bit. It's crazy. 'It happened in front of everyone and I had to get on with it as professionally and quickly as I could. As soon as I got into the ambulance, I was in bits." Sophie spent a month in intensive care in America by herself, while receiving treatment for the burns. 4 The former couple at the 2023 Beauty Awards Credit: Instagram 4 Sophie is a dancer from Manchester Credit: instagram/sophirelee
