Dutch Bros plans fall 2025 opening for 1st area location
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — You will have to wait just a short while longer before visiting the area's first Dutch Bros Coffee location.
According to Dutch Bros, the beverage company now anticipates a fall opening for its location at 8080 N. Dixie Drive in Butler Township.
WDTN.com told you about the new coffee and drink shop coming to the area in January.
At that time, a township planning spokesperson said the project could be completed by 'early summer.' The spokesperson said at that time Mother Nature could change that projected timeframe.
The company's hiring page indicates the company is constructing locations near Cincinnati:
8670 Winton Road, Springfield Township
5977 Lorven Drive, Milford
As of date, the nearest current Dutch Bros location operating is in Lexington, Kentucky.
Although the company isn't accepting applications, you can watch for when they are here.

Local library opens applications for upcoming Writer and Author's Symposium
Previous coverage of the Dayton Metro Library. DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Metro Library is now receiving applications for its 2025 Writer and Author's Symposium. This is an exciting opportunity for writers to engage with the vibrant local community. There are two open roles for the event. Featured Writers: These writers will be able to directly engage with readers, promote and sell their books. Facilitators: A collection of writers, publishers, and editors who will critique the first ten pages of an emerging writer's work. This will help them improve their work and give them vital feedback. Any writer in the Miami Valley interested in either position for the Symposium can apply here, by of before Friday, July 11. Dayton Library to host senior pizza parties with college help If selected, the DML will contact the writer with additional information. Anyone can visit the Symposium, which will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., throughout the Main Library downtown.
