Jessie J Undergoes Breast Cancer Surgery, Shares Health Update

Yara Sameh Jessie J is opening up about her breast cancer diagnosis and recovery, sharing a health update as she recovers from surgery and awaits further results. In a new Instagram post shared on Monday, Jessie (born Jessica Cornish) reflected on the highs and lows of the last 48 hours following her operation. 'Blood warning!! This post is some of the honest lows and highs… I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through,' she wrote, alongside photos and a short video from her hospital bed. Jessie also extended her heartfelt gratitude to the medical team that took care of her as well as her friends and family who had come to visit her during her difficult time. 'Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family / friends who came to visit,". The British singer reassured her followers that she is now home to rest and awaiting results. 'Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!". The pop star performed what she described as her final show before surgery at Capital's Summertime Ball earlier this month, telling the crowd of 75,000 at Wembley Stadium, 'Today, this show is my last show before I go to beat breast cancer!… It's the most special thing and I'm so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, for my son. My partner. My parents.' Jessie revealed her diagnosis earlier this month in a June 3 Instagram post, telling followers that the news came just before the release of her April single, 'No Secrets.' 'I'm highlighting the word 'early,'' she wrote at the time. 'Cancer sucks in any form but I'm holding on to the word 'early.'' Since her diagnosis, the singer has been candid about the emotional process, sharing that she's been 'in and out of tests' and chose to go public with her story not only to process her reality but also to be a source of strength for others. 'I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support, and also their own stories,' she said. 'I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much – similar and worse.' In one lighthearted moment, she joked, 'I'm getting to keep my nipples, that's good,' she added. 'It's a weird topic and a weird situation. And I know the press are going to say crazy stuff but you know what, to get diagnosed with this as I'm putting out a song called 'No Secrets' right before a song called 'Living My Best Life,' which was all pre-planned before I found out about this, I mean, you can't make it up.' Jessie has long been open about her health. In 2020, she revealed a diagnosis of Ménière's disease, and in the years since has also shared her experience with miscarriage, OCD, and ADHD. She welcomed her son, Sky, in 2023. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

Osama Abbas Quits Acting

Yara Sameh Veteran Egyptian actress Osama Abbas announced his retirement from acting at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy of iconic roles. In a phone-in with " Sada ElBalad " satellite TV Channel, Abbas confirmed that he has stepped away from acting permanently. 'I am happy with my time, especially after I stopped participating in any work, or in other words after I stopped acting. What is offered to me is not worth making because it is below standard, and if I did it, anyone who is convinced of my acting abilities would ask me, 'How can you do this, Osama?''. The prominent actor added that he might resume his acting career if he received a distinctive and unique role. Abbas recalled his early acting career and confirmed that he entered the acting scene by mere chance, through the late legend Abdel Moneim Madbouly, when he was offered a role with the late icon Al-Daif Ahmed. "At the time, I was working my main job and acting, because I did not believe that acting could secure my life or my family, as well as was not reassured about it, so I did not leave my main job," he added." However, after a while, when I participated in several works and settled down. I began to feel that acting was my source of livelihood and devoted myself to it,". Before the acclaimed actor launched his acting career, Abbas graduated from the Faculty of Law and worked as a lawyer at the beginning of his life, but after a while, he turned to acting, and when he proved his acting abilities, he left law and became an actor. Throughout his five-and-a-half-year career, the acclaimed actor presented in many films, TV series, and plays such as 'The Journey of Mr. Abu Al-Ala Al-Bishri', 'Dumou Fi Oyoun Waqiha', 'Bawabet Al Halawani', 'Raafat Al-Hagan', and 'Aida Opera'. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
