Todd Chrisley: ‘I would have remorse if it was something that I did'
Todd Chrisley addressed the media for the first time since his pardon by President Donald Trump.
He and his daughter, Savannah Chrisley, joined attorneys to hold a news conference at a Nashville hotel on Friday morning

When Channel 2's Michael Doudna asked Todd Chrisley if he felt remorse after he and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were convicted of tax fraud, he maintained his innocence.
'I would have remorse if there was something that I did,' he responded.
He went on to claim that there was corruption involved in their case and trial, which they will continue to investigate and share evidence.

The former reality star and his wife were officially pardoned by Trump on Wednesday afternoon and were released from federal prison later that day.
Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years in prison and Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years. Both served almost three years.

Four homes were involved in the fire and two of them were ruled complete losses by fire crews. It will be a long road to rebuilding for the impacted families, including Larry Baker, who lost his entire house. 'We were at dinner in New Bremen, Ohio,' Baker said. 'Eleven of us, and we came back and the house was engulfed in flames as we drove up the drive.' Baker was stunned at the sight. 'We have no idea about how it started, what happened or anything,' Baker said. 'But we've lost everything.' Baker tried to go into the home to save their family dog. 'I tried to get our dog, didn't get it. Got singed. I was turned back by the heat and the smoke and some flames,' Baker said. Huntsville Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Tom Weikart says no one was injured in the fires, but they struggled to put it out. 'It's a very limited access area. Fortunately, we were able to get up next to the lake and start drafting from the lake for a water supply,' Weikart said. Daniel and Rosemary Haemmerle had minimal fire damage to their home. 'We're very lucky. Very, very lucky,' Rosemary said. Daniel said it was like something out of a movie. 'The winds were coming real strong southwest, and so it just like fed it, like a blast furnace. So it's unbelievable,' Daniel said. 'I've never seen anything move so fast. So if you're ever in a fire, don't go in the house. Because you think you can, you can't.' Todd Chrisley got real about his time in prison. Chrisley, 56, opened up about his daily routine in the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp while chatting about how the media thought he looked 'jacked' in a press conference on Friday, May 30. 'I had nothing to do other than to read and to work out,' he said. Todd, who was arrested with his wife Julie Chrisley for fraud, continued, 'I worked out every morning at 10:45 until 12, with my buddies there, and I read, and my walk with Christ became deeper, and I talked to my daughter every day [and] to Chase to Grayson.' (The couple shares Chase, 28, and Grayson, 19, along with daughter Savannah, 27. Todd is also the dad of Lindsie, 35, and Kyle, 33, whom he shares with his ex-wife Teresa Terry.) Butts County deputies catch accused drug trafficker after he runs from traffic stop with meth
The Butts county Sheriff's Office said deputies caught a man accused of trafficking methamphetamine after a traffic stop. The drug bust happened Friday afternoon, when deputies from the Special Operations Division Crime Suppression Unit and the Narcotics Unit stopped a vehicle heading south on Interstate 75. The sheriff's office said that's when Michael Brown, Jr. took off running while 'carrying a large quantity of methamphetamines.'
