Sarina Wiegman still weighing up options before naming England's Euros squad
Chelsea forward Aggie Beever-Jones certainly made a case for inclusion on Friday night, when she became just the second Lioness to score a hat-trick at Wembley in England's 6-0 Nations League dismantling of Portugal.
Wiegman agreed she and her team needed to consider a number of factors – including fitness and relationships – when choosing which 23 players would defend England's title in Switzerland.

'Of course you want these connections,' said Wiegman. 'Some players play more together than others. You have your opponents and of course, we still have players that are building too, so can they go to the level they had before they had injuries?
'I don't know yet. We're still trying out things and finding the balance.'
England must beat World Cup holders Spain in their final Nations League group-stage meeting on Tuesday to clinch top of their group and advance to the autumn knockouts, which will determine the 2025 winners.
It is also a final opportunity for players who might feel they are on the fringe to fight for their spot in Switzerland.
Clinching at least second spot in Group Three through the Portugal triumph means England avoid a more complicated play-off situation and secure a more-favourable qualifying pathway for the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil. Long-term injured trio Alex Greenwood, Georgia Stanway and Lauren Hemp all returned to the pitch against Portugal, the latter starting and looking in form on Friday night.
'They've worked so hard to get where they are right now and that's what they showed,' added Wiegman.
'If you haven't put all the work in it to this point, then you cannot have a good performance, so I'm really happy with that.
'Of course we need to keep building, the Euros are really coming close and at the same time, we want to perform in the Nations League, so we are trying to find that balance.'
One of the biggest questions ahead of Thursday's announcement is whether or not Chelsea forward Lauren James – who scored three goals and added three assists at the 2023 World Cup – will have recovered enough from the hamstring injury she sustained in April. Arsenal striker Alessia Russo was forced to sit out Friday night's encounter with a calf issue, but Wiegman said before the contest that she hoped the Women's Super League joint-Golden Boot winner would be available to face Spain.
'We have so many options up front in the squad right now,' Wiegman added. 'And what we also hope for is that LJ (James) is coming back too.
'She's already up and doing good, so trying to build her too, seeing what the competition of course will be.
'I hope every striker will be fit that we have now in the squad and LJ added to that, it's going to be really hard for me to make decisions for the Euros squad.'

Chelsea are finalising the signing of Ipswich striker Liam Delap, who's set to snub interest from Manchester United in order to join Enzo Maresca's side for £30million Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Liam Delap on a six-year contract after beating Manchester United to his signature. The Blues implemented this structure in order to write off the cost of a player over a longer period (the length of their contract). Delap won't break records at Chelsea, with his £30m release clause becoming active after Ipswich were relegated from the Premier League. Maresca is a big fan of the England youth international, who's set to play at the under-21 European Championship this month, and wants him to challenge Nicolas Jackson for a starting place at Stamford Bridge next season. "To compare Liam with Harry Kane and Erling Haaland, I think it's a bit early," the Chelsea manager said in April. "But for sure, in terms of style he's that kind of player. They are all real nines. They are No. 9s inside the box. "But we also have a good No. 9 [in Jackson]. He's doing well since we started. Unfortunately, we've missed him, and sometimes you need to miss players to realise how important they are for you. "With Nico, we are a completely different team compared to when he was injured. Glenn Maxwell retires from ODI cricket as curtain falls on explosive career
Australian limited overs great Glenn Maxwell has called time on his decorated one-day international career to focus on next year's T20 World Cup and domestic competitions as injuries begin to take their toll. The explosive all-rounder announced his retirement from ODIs on Monday after 149 matches that included arguably the greatest innings of all time in the format. Maxwell amassed 3,990 runs at an average of 33.81 with four centuries, including an unbeaten double ton that lifted Australia to a critical victory over Afghanistan at the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Australia's World Cup hopes were on the brink of collapse when Maxwell arrived at the crease with the then five-time champions 91 for seven and well short of their 292-run target. Maxwell partnered with Pat Cummins in an incredible 202-run partnership with the all-rounder blasting 10 sixes and 21 boundaries in his 201 not out. The Australia captain contributed only 12 runs to the unbroken partnership as Maxwell took control and turned match-winner even while suffering from severe cramp in the stifling Mumbai heat. Australia reached Afghanistan's target with 25 balls to spare and went on to defeat the highly fancied India in the final in Ahmedabad. 'I think back to right at the start I was picked ahead of my time and out of the blue,' Maxwell said. 'I was just proud just to be playing a couple of games for Australia. I thought I was just going to have that. 'Since then, I have been able to go through the up and downs of being dropped, being brought back, playing in a few World Cups and being a part of some great teams.' Maxwell ends his 13-year ODI career with the second highest strike-rate of all men's batters 126.7, only behind West Indian powerhouse Andre Russell on 130.22.
