Pacers secret weapon? Caitlin Clark. Indiana undefeated with her in building during playoffs
The Indiana Pacers obviously have a talented roster full of good shooters and defenders from Tyrese Haliburton to NBA Finals Game 3 star Bennedict Mathurin.
But it might be Caitlin Clark (!) who's carrying this team to an NBA title in 2025.
The WNBA star for the Indiana Fever is buddies with Haliburton, and she's attended eight games as the Pacers have made a run all the way to the championship series this year. And in all eight of those games? The Pacers have notched a victory.
So I'm sure the Pacers will want Clark to keep giving the "choke" celebration, or to go ahead and taunt opposing players, because that perfect 8-0 record goes along with her attendance.
Let's assume she can only come to home games. They play on Friday at home and, if there's a Game 6, that will be on Thursday, June 19. The Fever have a game at home on Saturday, so maybe she'll be there. And then on the 19th, her WNBA team is on the road against the Valkyries, so I'd say she's a no for that one.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers forward Obi Toppin picked up a technical foul and a Flagrant Foul Penalty 1 in the second quarter of Friday's NBA Finals Game 4 of after his foul on Oklahoma City guard Alex Caruso angered Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein. Tyrese Haliburton reveals he has ‘24/7' group chat with Cailtin Clark
The best basketball players in Indiana are also seemingly best friends. Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers revealed to ESPN that he and Fever star Caitlin Clark are all in a group chat together. Haliburton's girlfriend, Jade Jones, and Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, are both in the chat. 'We're talking 24/7,' Haliburton shared with ESPN. Rhyne Howard's 36 points and 9 3-pointers lead Dream past the Sky 88-70
Rhyne Howard made a career-high nine 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 36 points, Brittney Griner moved into second place on the WNBA career blocks list, and the Atlanta Dream beat the Chicago Sky 88-70 on Friday night. Howard broke the franchise record for 3-pointers in a game, topping Renee Montgomery's eight in 2018. Griner blocked a shot by Elizabeth Williams late in the third quarter to move into a tie with Lisa Leslie (822). Griner added another in the fourth to sit alone in second, trailing Margo Dydek's record 877. Howard, who was scoreless in the first quarter, had 11 points in the third quarter to help Atlanta take a 58-54 lead.
