Muslim Scholars Gathering in Lebanon Commends Yemeni People's Solidarity with Palestine

The Muslim Scholars Gathering in Lebanon praised the honorable turnout of the Yemeni people in the mass demonstrations held on Friday in the capital, Sana'a, and across the provinces, affirming their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist enemy and the genocide being committed in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Gathering said:
"Here are the authentic Arab masses of the Yemeni people, who uphold true Muhammadan Islam, taking to the streets in the millions to express their solidarity with Gaza.
They reject American dictates and support the Palestinian people—not just in words, but through hypersonic ballistic missiles raining down on strategic sites in the Zionist entity, particularly Ben Gurion Airport, forcing hundreds of thousands of settlers to seek shelter for extended hours. This has dealt a severe blow to waves of Jewish immigration to Palestine, turning them into mass reverse migration movements out of the Zionist entity, which has now become unsafe and fraught with danger."
Commenting on recent developments and U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to the region, the Gathering stated:
"Iran alone in the region dares to say 'no' to American tyranny, as expressed by its President Masoud Pezeshkian, who said: 'We are advocates of peace, but we will not bow to any power and will not surrender.' His words reflect the views of the overwhelming majority of the peoples of our Islamic nation, the free people around the world, and the resistance movements in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq that oppose Zionist aggression."

US President Donald Trump signed a new travel ban that comes into effect on Monday targeting 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran and Yemen, reviving one of the most controversial measures from his first term. Yemen : Houthis say ready to swap all prisoners with govt
Yemen's Houthi group announced on Friday its readiness to exchange all prisoners with the Yemeni government, a significant proposal put forward by the group since the outbreak of the civil war in late 2014. The Houthi-run Saba news agency cited a statement by Abdul Qader al-Murtada, head of the Houthis' committee for prisoners' affairs, as saying that the group is prepared to carry out "a full exchange process that includes all prisoners from all parties without exception." Al-Murtada called on the Saudi government to pressure the Yemeni government "to respond to the initiative without preconditions." The internationally recognized Yemeni government is yet to comment. The Yemeni government and the Houthi group implemented a UN-mediated major prisoner swap in 2023, exchanging around 900 prisoners. Another major exchange took place in 2020, with approximately 1,000 prisoners and detainees released from both sides. Yemen has been mired in civil war since late 2014, when the Houthi group seized control of much of northern Yemen, forcing the Yemeni government out of the capital Sanaa. Clashes between the Houthis and the Yemeni government have diminished since April 2022, following a UN-mediated truce.

Following Abu Obeida's statement, demonstrations erupt in Tel Aviv demanding agreement to return prisoners from Gaza
Al-Quds – Saba: Hundreds of Zionist settlers demonstrated Saturday evening in the Israeli capital, Jaffa (Tel Aviv), demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza and a prisoner exchange deal. These demonstrations came after statements by Abu Obeida, the official spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas), in which he warned that the life of prisoner Matan Zatgauker is in danger due to the Israeli enemy army's attempt to free him, according to the Al-Mayadeen channel website. Abu Obeida categorically affirmed that the Zionist enemy will not be able to recover this prisoner alive, and if this prisoner is killed during the attempt to free him, the enemy army will be the one responsible for his death, after we preserved his life for a year and eight months. The prisoner's father, Tzatgauker, said, "I can't bear this nightmare anymore," stressing that the enemy's prime minister, the war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, Benjamin Netanyahu, "is using the Israeli army to continue the war and protect his government."
