'I'll beat the S*** out of you!': Furious Inter Milan star Francesco Acerbi threatens fan in feisty exchange after being taunted over Champions League final defeat by PSG
Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi threatened a fan in a PSG shirt after being taunted about last month's Champions League final.
The Serie A side were thrashed 5-0 by Luis Enrique's men in last month's final - the heaviest defeat ever recorded in the final of the competition.
During the latter stages of the match, Acerbi was left sprawling after some dazzling footwork by Bradley Barcola - and a fan in Seattle reminded him of the moment.
On a video that went viral on social media, the visibly annoyed Italian international sought the help of a translator during a meet-and-greet with fans.
The translator told the fan in English on Thursday: 'You must be serious with him.'
Seconds later, Acerbi stepped in to say in Italian: 'I´m serious. Don't make fun of me - I don´t like it. ... I´m crazy, I´ll beat the s*** out of you.'
📲🚨 Francesco Acerbi got into a verbal altercation with a PSG fan.
'Don't say 'Acerbi-Barcola', I don't like to be made a fool of. I am crazy and I'll beat the hell out of you.'

Acerbi then quickly moved on, posing for photos with other fans.
The latest controversy surrounding the 37-year-old comes just weeks after he turned down a call-up for Italy's World Cup qualifiers - accusing Luciano Spalletti, who was later sacked, of disrespecting him.
Acerbi posted on social media: 'It's not a decision I have taken lightly. However, I believe that in light of recent events the conditions aren't there today for me to go forward with serenity.
I demand respect. If that respect is lacking from those who should lead the group, I prefer to step aside.
'I won't stay where I'm no longer truly wanted and it's clear I'm not part of the coach's project.'
Acerbi's Inter will return to action against Japanese side Urawa Reds in their second Club World Cup match on Saturday.

Italy cracks down on violence against referees
ROME, June 21 (Reuters) - Referees in Italy will now receive the same legal protection as police officers and other public officials, Sports Minister Andrea Abodi said, to help curb a rise in cases of assault in sports such as soccer. A change to the penal code will mean much tougher penalties, include potentially jail, for acts of violence against match officials, including pushing, hitting, or threatening. The move follows months of discussions between the government and the Italian Soccer Referees Association. The law, part of a decree approved by the Italian government late on Friday, extends protection to all officials responsible for ensuring sporting fixtures are conducted fairly. Abuse towards match officials at all levels of Italian soccer has become a growing concern. In December, Serie A referees highlighted the issue by wearing black smudges on their cheeks during matches as a symbol of protest. In one notorious example last season, 19-year-old referee Diego Alfonzetti was attacked when he took charge of a youth match in Sicily. Alfonzetti was invited on to the pitch alongside the match officials before the Lazio-Rome Serie A derby in April as an act of solidarity. "Sport is loyalty and sharing. Those who do not accept it are warned: from tomorrow violent behaviour and aggression against referees will be punished without delay, even with prison," said Senator Andrea Ostellari, a junior justice minister.

Rangers Dor Turgemen deal in doubt over Middle East conflict
Turgeman has been on the radar at Ibrox and some reports even suggested a deal to bring him from Maccabi Tel Aviv could be close. Russell Martin was believed to have made the 21-year-old a top target after taking the job and he is also well known to 49ers Enterprises having been on Leeds' radar previously. A new striker is high on the agenda at Ibrox with last season's top scorer Cyriel Dessers looking to be on the way out to AEK Athens. Talks had been opened over Turgeman but may now be grinding to a halt, because of the rising tensions between Israel and Iran. Read more: Sport 5 report that Maccabi are now thinking it may be unwise to sell on key players as they will find it tough to attract replacements from overseas. The report suggests the striker "certainly" won't be sold prior to the Champions League qualifiers against Cypriots Pafos next month. And they may also decide to significantly up the asking price for any of their players who are attracting interest, to make selling up more palatable. Rangers may need to move on to alternative targets with Danilo and Hamza Igamane the only striking options left if Dessers is sold.

Chelsea take drastic action after Nicolas Jackson red card at Club World Cup
Nicolas Jackson's Chelsea future is in doubt with the Blues open to offers for the forward. The Senegal star is no longer considered untouchable as interest has arrived from Italy. The news emerges in the aftermath of Jackson being sent off in the Club World Cup in Chelsea's defeat to Flamengo. The 24-year-old was given his marching orders for a reckless challenge just four minutes after coming off the bench. Juventus are sounding out a move for the former Villarreal star, who scored 13 goals in 33 games for Chelsea. The Italian giants are in need of a new striker and are said to have seen exploratory talks over a move for the forward, per Gianlucadimarzio. Jackson comes into consideration as Juve wait on Viktor Gyokeres after accepting the Sweden international prefers a move to Arsenal. The Serie A side have been in touch with Gyokeres' representatives. But Juventus could soon find competition in any developing race for Jackson's signature. Napoli are also noted to be considering a move and have been informed of the situation but retain a preference of adding Darwin Nunez or Udinese's Lorenzo Lucca to their squad. Jackson's red comes in just his second appearance since being sent off in the Premier League against Newcastle. The Senegal international is to miss the first game of next season And his position at Chelsea will likely come under increased scrutiny with the west London side having already signed Liam Delap this summer. The ex-Ipswich Town star is set to provide strong competition and could yet lead the Blues' forward line. And one of Jackson's team-mates has called on him to improve his discipline. Marc Cucurella revealed that Jackson had already apologised to the group but would like to see him not make the same mistake again. The Spaniard said: "It is a bit of bad luck. He tried to put his foot in to kick the ball but he kicked the player's leg. That's it. We now miss him for the next game. He is a young player with a lot of quality and maybe he needs to improve this." And Jackson has also apologised to supporters on social media. "I want to say sorry," he said. "To the club, the staff, my teammates, and all the fans watching, I let you down," it read. "Another red card… And honestly, I'm so angry at myself. I work hard every day to help the team not to put us in this kind of situation. "I still don't fully understand how it happened. But one thing is clear: it wasn't intentional. Just a moment in football that went the wrong way." Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content.
