Acer Expands Gaming Monitor Lineup with New QD-OLED Displays
Acer has launched two new gaming monitors, the Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1, adding to its growing range of advanced display solutions. These monitors combine quantum dot and OLED technologies, offering vibrant visuals, deep contrast, and improved energy efficiency compared to traditional LCDs.
Both new models are built for gamers who demand high performance. With up to 4K resolution, 240 Hz refresh rates, and 0.03 ms response times, they deliver smooth and responsive gameplay. Additionally, they support AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, reducing screen tearing and stuttering during HDR gaming and video playback.
The Predator X32 X2 features a 31.5-inch UHD (3840×2160) panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It offers a wide viewing area for immersive experiences. In contrast, the Predator X27U X1 offers a 26.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) screen, designed for those who prefer a more compact setup without sacrificing visual quality.
Both monitors include VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400 certification, cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, and support 1,500,000:1 contrast ratios. These features deliver rich colors and excellent depth. Moreover, they come with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort for easy compatibility with gaming consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as gaming PCs.
To enhance user comfort, the monitors offer ergonomic stands with tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. They also include BlueLightShield Pro to help reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes support multitasking, making these displays suitable for both play and productivity.
The Predator X32 X2 will be available in EMEA starting August, with prices from USD 1,199. The Predator X27U X1 will be available in June, starting at USD 699.

The launch includes three new models: Vertiv™ CoolChip CDU 70, CDU 100, and CDU 600. These direct-to-chip (DTC) liquid cooling solutions enhance Vertiv's position in the AI and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure space. The new models were revealed as part of Vertiv's commitment to scalable and efficient cooling for data centers. The company reported that the Vertiv CoolChip CDU 600 will debut in EMEA at the Datacloud Global Congress, taking place this week in Cannes. Sam Bainborough, vice president of EMEA thermal business at Vertiv, stated that rising workloads and higher rack densities are driving the demand for adaptable liquid cooling systems. He added that the CoolChip CDU line provides flexible and scalable solutions that reduce complexity and support future growth. The new CDUs are designed for both retrofit and greenfield data center environments. They include in-rack and row-based configurations with both liquid-to-air and liquid-to-liquid technologies. According to Vertiv, the expanded CoolChip family is part of its broader 360AI portfolio. This includes power, cooling, and services designed to tackle the challenges of AI deployments. The CDUs are also supported by Vertiv™ Liquid Cooling Services, which cover design, installation, fluid management, and maintenance. This allows for deployment in diverse scenarios, from existing facility upgrades to scaling dense AI and HPC clusters.
