Irish side Clovers ensured a second-place Celtic Challenge finish as they won comfortably with a nine-tries-to-five win against hosts Gwalia Lightning at Ystrad Mynach.
Lightning finished third in the table after conceding six first-half tries and three more after the break, five of which were converted.
After Sophie Barrett's opener, Gwennan Hopkins hit back. Clovers went back in front through Deirbhile Nic a Bháird, with Faith Oviawe adding their third.
Scrum-half Aoibheann Reilly went over for the visitors' bonus-point try and Lightning responded with wing Caitlin Lewis' interception score.
But Clovers underlined their first-half superiority with Nic a Bháird's second score before Beth Buttimer crossed for their sixth, giving them a 34-12 lead at the break.
Gwalia's impressive response brought touchdowns for Kelsie Webster and Alaw Pyrs to earn a bonus point.
But Clovers' Anna McGann, who scored a hat-trick against Edinburgh last week, was on the hunt for another Irish try and got it, with Jemima Adams and captain Enya Breen also going over.
Gwalia's Freya Bell scored the final try, but the result had long been decided.
Elsewhere, defending champions Wolfhounds beat Edinburgh 102-0 to successfully retain the title.
Gwalia captain Bryonie King told BBC Sport Wales:
"The Irish teams have a lot of internationals playing for them, and we know what they can do and how much damage they can cause.
"I did think we showed a point out there as Gwalia, we stayed in the fight until the very end and we came away with a try to finish the game off, so we are proud of that.
"We aimed for that top spot, second spot, but overall we are happy with where we are, it is a massive point proven on how talented Welsh rugby is. I'm so proud to be a part of Gwalia."
Gwennan Hopkins added:
"Both Irish sides are professional and they are contracted, so that physicality is massive. It is definitely a work-on for us. It's something we can key point and breakthrough for next season.
"We are all really young, and we have been playing on the pathway together and now some of us are getting to the national squad. It's building those relationships on and off the field, and it has been great we are as close off the field, as we are on the field.
"That's really special because by the end of the season you are playing for the girls not just for Gwalia."

Bath semi-final a 'dream game' for Bristol

Lam's side go into the match as underdogs having finished the season fourth, 14 points behind their local rivals in the regular season standings. Advertisement However, a league double over Bath this season backs up Lam's notion that his side "know how to beat Bath" - a defiant claim made following his side's 52-26 victory against Harlequins which confirmed Bears' play-off spot. "We're proud of that record, but it's the next one that counts," Lam told BBC Radio Bristol. "We've never played a derby game as a semi-final and for us we've never been in a final. It is the dream game really. "There's so much interest in it. We've already picked that up from both sets of supporters. There's good banter going back and forth." Advertisement Having joined the club in 2017, it is just the second time Lam has led Bristol into the Premiership post-season shake-up, having been defeated in the semi-finals by Wasps during the Covid-disrupted 2019-20 campaign. After missing out on making the top four by just two points last season, Bristol held off late challenges from Gloucester and Saracens to set up Friday's mouth-watering clash at The Rec. "Our goal was never to just get in the top four though; this is just the first stage," Lam added. "Last year, we showed shoots that we're coming back and we missed out. This year, with the smallest squad and probably the cheapest squad we've had in my whole time here, to do what the boys have done is brilliant." Advertisement Having clinched a home semi-final back in April, Bath coach Johann van Graan has used the past month to tinker with his side and gave seven players their debut in last Saturday's 36-26 defeat by Saracens. "They've been able to rotate their squad," Lam said. "They have that ability to play one week, rest the next week and then play one week." The 56-year-old said he had to make last-minute alterations to his squad's preparations on Wednesday after attending Tuesday's rugby awards, which saw Ellis Genge named as Community Player of the Season. But Lam, a Premiership winner as a player with Newcastle Falcons, will not let that slightly disrupted preparation be any form of excuse for his players. "We had a 45-minute session so that's our prep but that's all we need - we just need to make sure we're on the same page and the priority is a full tank to go against an unbelievable Bath team. "That's our challenge. Their challenge is separate but our challenge is the six days turnover and getting to the start line as fully fresh as we can. "Hopefully we've managed that right but we won't know until we see what happens on Friday." Ospreys pressing on with plans despite WRU dispute
Ospreys chief executive Lance Bradley says pressing ahead with plans to move to a new ground shows they are confident of a positive outcome in their dispute with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU). The Welsh region announced in 2024 they would be moving from Stadium to the smaller St Helen's venue for the 2025-26 season. Ospreys have made the official planning application submission for the redevelopment of St Helen's to Swansea Council which they say is a "significant milestone". The move comes at a time when Ospreys and Scarlets are involved in a dispute with the WRU about future funding. "We are still talking with the WRU about the situation and if we were not confident of a positive outcome that would make things a lot more difficult," said Bradley. "The fact we are proceeding full steam ahead with the development does shows a level of confidence." Speaking on BBC Radio Wales Breakfast, Bradley went on: "It [not having a deal] makes planning more difficult and frustrating because we think this could have been avoided. "Life isn't always a smooth road and there are sometimes road bumps. "This is one of those and we are managing our way through that." Ospreys sign Wales back row Moriarty from Brive URC to support WRU decision on number of regions - Anayi Ospreys apply for St Helen's stadium planning permission Ospreys and Scarlets are at loggerheads with the WRU after the two professional sides did not sign the new Professional Rugby Agreement (PRA) by the deadline of 8 May. The WRU has since announced it will move away from a model of four evenly funded professional sides which will result in a new tiered funding system. It is a move Ospreys and Scarlets described as a U-turn that has "created more destabilising and debilitating uncertainty in our game". The agreement has been signed by Dragons and also by Cardiff, who were last month taken over by the WRU after they temporarily went into administration. The WRU insisted the new PRA offered a better deal for the regions but Ospreys and Scarlets said they had asked the governing body for assurances the takeover "will not disproportionally benefit Cardiff and disadvantage the independent clubs". "We were ready to sign a contract, we had agreed and confirmed to the WRU in April," said Bradley. "So in terms of the actual PRA contract there isn't anything to discuss. "The issue arose when Cardiff went into administration and now being owned by the WRU. "That's the conversation now. I am hoping we are getting closer to a resolution. "We are not there at the moment but hoping it will be reasonably shortly. There isn't another deadline and talks are ongoing." Reports have suggested the WRU are considering cutting a team from its professional tier, something the governing body has not publicly confirmed or denied is part of its plans. They have said they will "work closely with all four professional clubs to agree the way forward beyond June 2027, with an open mind to all constructive and realistic proposals" and they hope a long-term resolution will be decided by September. The four professional sides play in the United Rugby Championship (URC) with its chief executive Martin Anayi stating it would support the WRU in whatever decision was made. "I saw those comments and that's what you would expect," said Bradley "The WRU is a shareholder of URC and you would expect them to be talking to each other and be supportive. "I don't think you should necessarily read into that we will be definitely going into three regions and the conversations are ongoing." Bradley said the uncertainty was unsettling for everybody involved in the Welsh game. "I completely understand the nervousness and unsettling nature of where we all are at the moment," said Bradley. "We try to keep fans informed as much as possible and we will do that as soon as we can in this situation." Bradley says the dispute with the WRU has brought Ospreys closer with their local rivals. "We are working very closely with Scarlets and we have the same questions about the levels of fairness about what the WRU are doing with Cardiff," he added. "There is not a divide between us. We talk regularly about how jointly we can come to a good solution about this." Bradley also insisted the Ospreys have not contemplated a future without a deal with the WRU: "The WRU oversee rugby in Wales and our future will be a part of that. "Whatever it turns out to be, it will be as part of a discussion and agreement with the WRU."
