2 dead of carbon monoxide poisoning in Gatineau
Two people died from carbon monoxide poisoning on Saturday in Gatineau, Que., the local fire department tells Radio-Canada.
A spokesperson said firefighters arrived at a house on Wildfrid-Lavigne Boulevard in the city's Aylmer section just after 7 p.m. on Saturday, where they discovered two people who were unresponsive. They were declared dead at the scene.
The cause of the carbon monoxide leak is not yet known. The investigation has been transferred to the Gatineau police.
Wildfrid-Lavigne Boulevard is around 10 kilometres west of Parliament Hill.

1 dead after fiery crash shuts down Griffin Road in Davie, police say
At least one person is dead after a fiery crash in Broward County forced Griffin Road to shut down on Sunday afternoon, police said. Around 2:30 p.m., Davie Police responded to the area near 15200 Griffin Rd. regarding a two-vehicle accident with one of those vehicles "fully engulfed." Police said one person died at the scene. 1 man dead in North York townhouse fire, paramedics say
A man in his 60s is dead following a townhouse fire in North York Sunday afternoon, Toronto Police Services said.
