Captain Josh Macleod returns from injury to start for Scarlets in their United Rugby Championship (URC) fixture against Stormers.Macleod, 28, was ruled out of his side's past two matches with a hamstring injury but will lead his side at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday.Wales internationals Ellis Mee, Eddie James, Taine Plumtree, Kemsley Mathias and Henry Thomas are all included in the matchday squad as head coach Dwayne Peel makes six changes from the side that took the field against Ulster.Mee will feature in a back three that includes Ioan Nicholas and Macs Page against the South African side.James and Joe Roberts form the midfield as Ioan Lloyd and Gareth Davies continue at half-back.
Marnus van der Merwe is recalled at hooker to pack down in the front row between Alec Hepburn and Sam Wainwright.Alex Craig and Sam Lousi form the second row as Scarlets go for a new-look back row, with Macleod joined by Vaea Fifita and Taine Plumtree."You look at how tight the league is at the moment and it is clear it is going to go down to the wire in terms of the play-off race," said Peel. "Our form here in Llanelli has been excellent this season with the supporters really getting behind the boys. "We are going to need that again against a Stormers side who have come here with pretty much a full crew with a couple of Springboks back from injury."Ryan Elias, Mathias and Thomas provide back row cover on the bench - with former Stormer Jarrod Taylor and Dan Davis also among the forward replacements. Archie Hughes, Charlie Titcombe and Tomi Lewis cover the backline.Blair Murray and Johnny Williams are both ruled out due to calf injuries.
Scarlets sit 10th in the URC table following defeats in Ulster and Munster.Peel's side boast a strong record on home soil though, winning their past six matches at Parc y Scarlets.Stormers are 12th in the league standings but are level with Scarlets on 28 points.Their narrow win at Bulls on 1 March ended a run of four successive defeats across all competitions.Stormers director of rugby John Dobson said: "Scarlets have been impressive this season and we know that it will have to be an 80-minute performance to get the result that we need from this one."

Lions squad headache for Andy Farrell as 16 players unavailable for first camp
The British and Irish Lions training camp was always going to clash with the two domestic finals and it means Andy Farrell's absentee list runs into double digits with Leinster and Bath among the finalists The British and Irish Lions will embark on their first training camp before heading to Australia without a staggering 16 members of their 38-man squad. Andy Farrell 's men will head to Portugal for some warm weather training before they play their tour opener against Argentina in Dublin on June 20. Rugby's calendar meant he was always going to be without certain individuals due to a clash with the Premiership and URC finals, which take place the weekend before. After the weekend's semi-finals Leinster, Bath and Leicester Tigers have all booked themselves finals berths. The Irish side provide the bulk of the squad - 12 members to be exact. Bath have two, including fly-half Finn Russell whilst Leicester provide one. The French calendar also means that the only Top 14 player - Toulouse fullback Blair Kinghorn - will still be playing for his club and another big name absentee. This is not the first time the scenario has arose - four years ago Gatland was missing 12 players from his 37-man squad that went to Jersey before their first game against Japan at Murrayfield. Farrell knew this was a possibility and has been making contingency plans. It is understood that several players will be on standby to come into Farrell's squad, but will not stay with the team when they fly to Australia. The Lions boss will call up those players who are already at the top of his standby list so that they are somewhat integrated in the squad should they receive a call-up to head Down Under as injury cover later down the line. The Lions want to avoid a repeat of the controversy from the 2017 tour to New Zealand - which became known as 'geography six'. Then head coach Warren Gatland called up six players based on their geographical proximity to the Lions, rather than the best man for the job, as he was accused of devaluing the jersey. The Times has already reported that Jamie George will join Lions training in Portugal next week as cover for Dan Sheehan and Ronan Kelleher. Farrell will be missing two of this three hookers due to Leinster playing in the final with Luke Cowan-Dickie the only original member of the squad available. He will also be without three of his second row options in James Ryan, Joe McCarthy and Ollie Chessum. The two men tipped to battle for the 15 shirt - Kinghorn and Hugo Keenan - are also absent. The two Smiths - Fin and Marcus - will eye the fly-half berth when the Lions face Argentina as they look to stake their claim. Russell has been tipped as the man to wear the 10 shirt but Fin Smith has made himself the starter for England and is seen as perhaps favouring Farrell's gameplan more. 'Consequence of injuries that left Glasgow very exposed'
Glasgow fans, we asked for your views after your side were comfortably dumped out of the URC last four by what some of you had to say:Robert: Having played most of the season to get into a play-off place, the drop off in form, Stormers aside, is a worry. Quality players leaving and uncertainty about Franco Smith himself doesn't fill supporters with a lot of optimism. The younger players have been great but can't be expected to produce on a regular basis against top internationals. Surely the ambition at Warriors is to build on last year's success? Season ticket sales will reflect any lack of ambition on part of the Poor display tackling was awful. Hastings and Horne didn't gel. Can't see many of them playing for the Lions. Let themselves When Leinster are on it they are very difficult for anyone to beat. Still a really good defence of the URC by the Warriors. Big decision for the SRU this summer is what to do about Franco, personally I would love to see him in charge of the national A lot of very good Glasgow players missing. However, that is not an excuse. Leinster were better on the day. Still proud of Glasgow despite the Not a great day at the office, we lacked the puff up front to get parity and our main route forward, the kick to compete, was nullified by the Leinster back three. We kicked away the possession we had. Really disappointing and surprising we did not have another plan. Leinster won and Glasgow need to find another way to compete with them. I do not see a quick fix unless we address the lack of grunt up front. Parity is all we needed, then let the backs do their stuff. Just don't kick the ball This result for us was the consequence of a sequence of injuries that left the Warriors very exposed. I also felt once the rain came on we lost heart. This was a development much more to Leinster's liking than ours. Still, we could have made a better fist of it than we did, but on the plus side a number of our younger players have been baptised and that can't be bad.
