But getting it in, clean and fitting it was anything but easy, and she documented the process on her TikTok page.
"It truly is amazing what people get rid of!" she said.
She picked the fridge up from a "building site" and was told it was all in working order but just needed a clean.
"I'm pretty sure that this hasn't been opened in a long, long time," Kelly admitted.
"The stench was unreal and, to top it off, I found fish in there!
"I am NOT a fish lover and that expensive salmon is five years old."
Once she'd managed to "dispose of" the offending fish, she got to work cleaning the fridge - taking every shelf and drawer out from inside, so that she could give it a deep clean.
It needed a lot of "elbow grease", Kelly said, and she got stuck in with sponges, sprays and cleaning brushes.
"I used lots of bleach on this thing," she laughed.
"It was so strong I'm pretty sure I burnt the nostril hairs off.
Stacey Solomon reveals 99p transformation of grubby kitchen unit she picked up on Facebook Marketplace so it looks brand new
"It was the only thing that I really felt was going to kill that bacteria because God knows how long that's been growing in there."
Once the bottom half - the freezer - was done, Kelly moved onto the fridge, removing each part one at a time, cleaning and putting it back.
"This felt like a never-ending job," she sighed.
"I love to clean but this was a lot, although very satisfying."
Once the "cleaning marathon" was done, Kelly changed the hinges to match the rest of her kitchen, and enlisted the help of her stepdad to rewire the plug, which had been cut off.
"We rewired the plug in seconds, attached the doors together and it was done," Kelly said, as she showed herself pushing the fridge freezer into its allocated slot.
What are the biggest kitchen trends of 2025?
The kitchen is the heart of every home and this year it's taking centre stage, Tracy Coleman, Product Director at High Street TV told Fabulous.
Hardworking appliances
Space-saving essentials are needed in every room of the house, and the kitchen is no exception, meaning appliances are often doing double (or triple) the job.
Expect to see air fryer ovens that roast, bake, and fry or blenders with attachments for everything from chopping to grinding.
Health and wellness
With people becoming more mindful of what they eat and how it impacts their well-being, kitchen appliances are stepping up to
meet the demand for healthier, more balanced lifestyles.
Air fryers remain hugely popular, along with blenders and juicers that retain nutrients.
Energy-bill conscious
Finally, with rising energy bills and an increased focus on sustainability, people are turning to appliances that help reduce power consumption and keep costs down.
More people are finding joy in cooking at home as a cost-effective
way to enjoy delicious, nutritious meals. Cooking at home doesn't just save money—it's also a fun way to bring the family together or experiment with new recipes.
With the right tools, such as multi-functional appliances and smart kitchen gadgets, creating meals at home becomes easier, faster, and more satisfying.
"A fully working integrated fridge completely free!"
"My best and worst Facebook marketplace find in one!" she captioned the video.
"I've been looking for a integrated fridge freezer ever since I bought this unit.
"I wasn't prepared to buy new, so will some patience (somehow) but mainly will power I found this baby!
"And what a gem it turned out to be!"

I'm a 6ft beauty queen but stuck being single because I'm so successful – men are too scared to approach me

Plus, scroll down to find out more on the history of Britain's Beauty Pageants CROWN CURSE I'm a 6ft beauty queen but stuck being single because I'm so successful – men are too scared to approach me Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A BEAUTY queen has revealed that despite her modelling success and business acumen, she is stuck being single. Harriotte Lane, 24, claimed that men are too intimidated by her looks and jet-setting lifestyle to ask her out. But the strawberry blonde stressed that despite men her age lacking the confidence to approach her, she is happily single for now and is enjoying the lavish lifestyle she has built for herself. The young woman, who runs her own successful pageant coaching company Crown Coach, has just been announced as Miss Grand United Kingdom to compete in Miss Grand International in Bangkok, Thailand, later this year. But the beautiful 6ft model is eager to demonstrate that she hasn't just got the looks, but has brains too. Harriotte, from Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, said: "I think because I'm a beauty queen and successful, it puts guys my age off from approaching me.' But Harriotte is 'ok with that' as she only wants someone who will 'add' something to her life, or 'is successful.' She stressed that this is the case for her with friends or a partner coming into her life, as she voiced: 'They need to be adding value and be very confident. "I know the right person who's my match will come at the right time but at the moment I'm very happy travelling the world and focusing on what I have." The business owner, who has scooped multiple beauty pageant crowns over the years, said she's passionate about promoting the industry that she credits for empowering women. She claimed that she 'started out as a shy girl' with a limited number of friends. World's first AI beauty pageant slammed as 'more curse than blessing' as people claim it's sign world 'getting dumber' Not only this, but she also felt that she didn't 'fit into society' during her early teenage years. But Harriotte has since been able to turn her life around and credits pageantry for giving her the opportunity to find like-minded women who are focused and driven. The History of Britain's Beauty Pageants Following World War Two, a number of seaside resorts around the United Kingdom introduced beauty contests. The first pageant of its kind, held in Morecambe in 1945, went on to become Miss Great Britain. Alongside it was Miss England, which had its first competition in 1928 but got properly underway as a beauty pageant in 1953. The winner of the first ever Miss Great Britain in 1945 was 18-year-old Lydia Reid, a civil service typist, who received a cup and a paltry prize (according to the local paper) of seven guineas, as well as a swimsuit. Prize money increased to £100 the following year, £500 the next and reached £1,000 in the fifties due to the competition's popularity, with it becoming a form of seaside entertainment for holidaying Brits. 'The contests were aimed at a family audience,' a blurb on the Miss GB website reads. 'Men could enjoy watching pretty girls, women could have fun backing their favourites and young girls could aspire to be a bathing beauty when they grew up.' Morecambe Town Council put the contest up for sale following the 1989 final and it was purchased by new owners who rebranded it as the 'Miss Great Britain Organisation'. As well as this, Harriotte, who grew up in a working family household, is now living her best life. She beamed: "I've been able to travel the world, do humanitarian work and actually live a life that people would genuinely only get to dream of.' I think because I'm a beauty queen and successful, it puts guys my age off from approaching me Harriotte Lane The proud northern lass now hopes to inspire others across the UK that they can achieve their dreams - as she is with Miss Grand International. She explained: 'You don't have to come from the capital to achieve extraordinary things. I'm very proud to be representing Newcastle.' Harriotte recognised that judges of pageants are looking for more than just someone beautiful. She claimed that now, entrants will need 'body, brain, beauty and business', as she concluded: "They're looking for someone who is an all-rounder." Palm reader claims just your THUMB can reveal whether you're destined to be rich or poor with a simple test

A TikTok video has sparked a social media frenzy after claiming just your thumb could reveal whether you're destined for wealth or will struggle to make ends meet. The clip, shared by popular UK-based palm reading account @palmistbabauk, which boasts 225,000 followers and over 1.2 million likes, focuses on a tiny detail in the crease at the base of your thumb. According to the video, the pattern where your thumb connects to the rest of your palm is the key to your financial fate. If the line appears cross-hatched, like stitches, the message is clear: You and your spouse are not meant to be wealthy. But if the crease looks more like a chain of tiny ovals linked together, tradition suggests you and your partner are destined for riches. The post quickly gained traction, racking up thousands of views, though many viewers were quick to point out the theory's lack of scientific backing and offered commentary of their own. 'I have it without a husband, still not rich,' one unimpressed commenter wrote below the footage. Another added: 'Nope. All three spouses were not rich. I was the one with money. I have this on both thumbs.' A third took a dig at their other half, joking: 'My husband is really broke but rich in his heart.' A similar diagram posted on Instagram showing the two types of thumb creases prompted even more scepticism. 'I believe checking your bank account will give a more accurate forecasting in this case,' one user quipped. Another joked: 'Do I have to get my thumb cut off and stitched back for this?' Others were just confused, claiming both thumbs had different patterns, making the verdict even murkier. While the advice may be just a small entry into the world of palm reading, it's a respected ancient practice in many parts of the world. An expert on Chinese culture recently revealed what the shape and length of your palm lines tell you about your personality, health and even let you know whether you're in the right career path. Min Yilin frequently posts videos to her TikTok channel educating her followers on Chinese culture, including how to use chopsticks and explainers on the beauty standards in China. In a series of videos Min shared to her over 150,000 followers she shared exactly how viewers could learn more about themselves by just examining their palms. In her first video, Min detailed what the line on your palm she referred to as your 'heart line' reveals about your romantic life. The heart line, or love line, 'starts from under the pinky and runs across the palm towards the middle finger or forefinger.' If your love line is short, Min described that you are most likely a 'powerful and stubborn person.' She added that those with short heart lines are often 'spontaneous', but have a 'rocky' love life as they are often 'isolated by others.' Next up, she explained the ups and downs of your love life if you have a long heart line. She added that 'very long' palm lines reach 'opposite sides of the palm', which means you're extremely independent. This means you'd rather be alone then comprise with others, because of this Min noted that those with long love lines will experience extreme 'hardships.' Not all commenters were convinced, with many spotting flaws in the palm reading logic Min added that a long heart line indicates that you're an extremely 'loyal' and a dedicated partner who often feels emotions at a heightened level causing you to get 'seriously hurt' by conflict in you relationships.' Next up, the expert on Chinese culture dished on what your palms tell you about your personality and career with your head line. 'To find it, just look between your thumb and forefinger and follow the line towards the side of your palm,' Min explained. She added that the head line is above the 'heart line.' 'The head line represents your wisdoms, beliefs and thinking ability,' she revealed. If you have a long head line that means you're considerate, logical and responsive. Someone with a short head line, will have difficulty making decisions and often rush into things.

I saved hundreds of pounds by DIY-ing my daughter's birthday cake – it only cost me £18 and people think it's ‘genius'

IF your child's birthday is coming up and the thought of splashing the cash on a lavish cake sends shivers down your spine, fear not, you've come to the right place. Many parents will know that ordering a personalised birthday cake can often end up costing hundreds of pounds. 3 A mother has revealed that rather than forking out hundreds of pounds for a personalised cake for her daughter's birthday, she DIY-ed a supermarket buy Credit: TikTok/@mummyandmylaa 3 For less than £20, Amy was able to celebrate her child's birthday in style Credit: TikTok/@mummyandmylaa 3 Amy nabbed the Pretty in Pink Lambeth Cake from Waitrose Credit: Waitrose But in a bid to save cash, one savvy mum took matters into her own hands and was able to cut costs by DIY-ing her little darling's birthday dessert. Posting on social media, a mother named Amy shared a step-by-step tutorial of how she DIY-ed her daughter Myla's pink birthday cake - and it cost her less than £20. So if you're on a budget and your purse is feeling tighter than ever before, then you'll need to listen up. The UGC content creator explained that to celebrate her daughter turning one, she decorated the Pretty in Pink Lambeth Cake, which she bought from Waitrose. The pink coloured golden sponge cake, which is filled with raspberry jam and topped and decorated with pale pink and dark pink buttercream, cost Amy just £18. Then, using some pink icing and ribbons she already had, she was able to personalise the cake - and we think it looks incredibly professional. Alongside a short clip shared online, the influencer penned: 'Making my daughter's first birthday cake, saving £100s!' Showing off the box-fresh vintage-style cake, which is decorated with whirls and swirls of piping, Amy beamed: 'Come with me to DIY my daughter's first birthday cake for only £18!' Amy confirmed that she used letter cutters to cut out 'Myla is one' in pink icing, which she placed on top of the cake. Following this, she attached pretty pink bows, which she already had from Shein, and was able to stick these to the cake with cocktail sticks. The simple chocolate cake recipe using only TWO ingredients - it's sweet and you won't even need to put it in the oven We think Amy's DIY cake looks brilliant and is a great way for those strapped for cash to save money, without having to scrimp on the celebrations. The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mummyandmylaa, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 178,600 views. Not only this, but it's also amassed 2,782 likes, 31 comments and 780 saves. Social media users were impressed with the jaw-dropping cake and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.
