Pakistani Defense Minister: Islamic countries threatened unless they unite today against Israel

Islamabad – Saba: Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif urged Islamic countries on Saturday to unite and collectively confront "Israel", warning that failure to act now would lead to dire consequences for the entire Islamic world. During a session of the Pakistani Parliament, Asif emphasized that "Iran is not alone in this aggression," noting that Israel has already targeted Yemen and Palestine as well. Asif warned that everyone's turn will come "unless the Islamic world unites today," calling on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an emergency meeting immediately and formulate a unified position against the Israeli aggression, according to al-Mayadeen channel website. He pointed out that the conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated dangerously after Israel launched strikes on Iranian military facilities, resulting in the martyrdom of senior Iranian commanders. Asif pointed out that Pakistan has strong historical and cultural ties with Iran, saying, "We stand with Iran in every ordeal. Their pain is our pain, and their grief is our grief." Asif emphasized Pakistan's long-standing policy of non-recognition of Israel, noting that his country has neither established diplomatic relations with Israel nor recognized Tel Aviv. He expressed regret over the largely silent Muslim world, despite the ongoing massacre of children in Palestine. Asif added, "In contrast, non-Muslims in the West are protesting Israel's actions. It is true that the conscience of the Western world is awakening, but the Muslim world remains steadfast." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Enemy forces turn Palestinian homes in Tulkarm into military barracks

Tulkarm – Saba: Israeli enemy forces seized a number of Palestinian homes in Tulkarm governorate on Saturday and turned them into military barracks. The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that Israeli enemy forces raided the home of Saber Aref in the village of Shufa, southeast of Tulkarm, forcing him and his family to leave and informing him not to return for a week. They then turned the home into a military barrack. The Israeli army set up a military checkpoint between the villages of Shufa and Kafr al-Labad and raided the building of Theeb al-Aswad in the area, which is inhabited by a number of displaced persons from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps. The Israeli army forced them to leave and converted the top floor into an observation post and military barracks. They prevented residents of Shufa from passing through this area, which is the only way in and out for the villagers. In al-Sha'rawiya area, north of the governorate, Israeli enemy forces continued their raids on the town of Zeita since the early hours of the morning. The agency reported, citing local sources, that enemy forces raided the homes of Palestinian citizens in the town, searched them, and seized a number of them after forcing their owners to leave. They then turned the homes into military barracks. The agency noted that enemy forces set up checkpoints in the town's streets, arrested and interrogated young men, while soldiers climbed onto the roof of a water tank (hawz) and used it as an observation post. This escalation comes amid ongoing Zionist aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, now in its 139th day. This escalation coincides with repeated raids on villages and towns in the governorate, accompanied by raids on homes and arrests of citizens. Today, five citizens were arrested from the city and the towns of Deir al-Ghusun and Anabta. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
