It's time to make your kitchen as cozy as soup itself.
1. A wooden bread box so stunning you may feel like the owner of a boulangerie every time you reach for a slice of bread. And it's not just serving up good looks! The plexiglass windows will help you know what bread you have at the ready. I've wasted more than one loaf of bread by hiding it in a concealed bread box and forgetting about it. I...will be buying this.
I thought it was impossible to forget about bread...and YET.
Promising review:"LOVE!! Bread has to be transported frozen to our town. Because of this, our bread gets super moist, molds quickly, and even gets soggy inside the bag before using it. This bread box really helps! Now, I have DRY STORAGE for my bread and it doesn't mold within a few days of buying it. This works great and looks great! Nice to have an organized place for all my bread loaves." — AkLiz2011
Get it from Amazon for $67.95+ (available in four colors).

Promising review: "I love Rifle Paper Co. rugs, but they're really expensive and not super thick or anything. I mostly love their designs. I saw this rug, and it didn't have a lot of reviews, but I took a chance and am so glad I did! I bought the runner and then the door size, both for my kitchen. I love the design of this rug and the colors! I personally would prefer a straight edge but it's fine. I washed the runner in the laundry with no issues. It's easy to vacuum and doesn't get sucked up constantly. It's soft and thin, but that's fine for the price. I love them, and I hope they make more designs!" — Sydney

One leaf did twist off after a few weeks of use but it's still cute and I could've been more careful holding it. Not a super stiff brush but works well for most hand washing and quick rinses. My husband's hands are much bigger than mine, so they don't fit him as well, but I do a majority of the cooking, so I'm pleased with them. Love the color coordinated covers, as my previous knives didn't have that and I keep them in a drawer. Highly recommend these knives." — S.C.

Amazon
Promising review:"I am IN LOVE. I bought this to use as a backsplash in my rented studio apartment kitchen, which has potential to be pretty but really needs some help. I ordered two rolls thinking that if I liked it in my kitchen, I'd order more to use on the wall behind my bar cart. I loved it so much when it came in that I decided to go ahead and put it up on the big wall and deal with the kitchen later. The pattern is so easy to line up and it looks so good! My tiny, dark apartment instantly looked bigger and brighter. Even up close I can't tell where the seams are. It was super easy to put up by myself, though I would recommend having another person to help if possible because it would have taken a lot less time if I'd had someone to hold it steady while I lined up the edges. If I could give six stars I would. It's expensive but worth every penny!" — Lizzy

Promising review:" I absolutely love the look of these storage containers (pictured above, right)! They are so unique and modern. The quality is great, the glass is pretty thick, and they seem very durable. The reason I'm docking one star is because some containers don't quite seal air tight correctly like the rest. Tom Cruise Stuns Fans With Jaw-Dropping Parachute Stunt Video
Tom Cruise has released a jaw-dropping video of the Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning stunt with a parachute on fire. He performed the stunt 16 times. The video shows Cruise skydiving with a blazing parachute. "Light the fuse," his caption reads on June 5, 2025. "What I'm going to do is I'm going to be deploying. If this is twisted while it's burning, I'll be spinning and burning. I have to kick out of the twist and then ignite in 10 seconds," Cruise said in the video. The video shows Cruise interacting with other people on set as the stunt was being created. The parachute was submerged in gas so it would ignite and explode in the air. "We are going to be real smart. I'm not saying be risky. We don't take risks, you know,"' Cruise said in the video. "Let's go." People expressed admiration for Cruise's devotion to stunt work in the comment thread of his post on X. "I am so impressed by how many times he was willing to redo that scene. Seriously cool work," wrote one fan. "I really have to give props to Tom Cruise with the Mission Impossible franchise. He really did great work throughout," wrote another person. Another fan expressed concern, though. "I love what you do to entertain us, but I am also scared for your life. Seeing the BTS videos is exciting and gives us a glimpse of the way you trained for each stunt. You are amazing and a little crazy (sorry). Every stunt is so nerve-wrecking. And a lot can go wrong," wrote a fan. "I love everything you do, every movie you make and that you are who you are. Thank you."Tom Cruise Stuns Fans With Jaw-Dropping Parachute Stunt Video first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 5, 2025

Bay Area man finishes six-day, 100-mile barefoot trek for immigrant children's rights
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A Bay Area man finished a six-day barefoot trek from San Francisco's Ocean Beach to Santa Cruz, all in an effort to raise money for immigrant children detained at the border. Oakland-native Kehlani no longer listed on SF Pride Block Party flyer Patrick McConnell tells KRON4 that his feet are pretty beat up, but he finished the journey with a ton of gratitude. McConnell trained for three months to prepare for the journey, while partnering with the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights — an organization that provides child advocates to help give these kids a voice in court and reunite them with their families. 'Many of these kids are fleeing violence, trafficking, unimaginable hardships back at home then they are met with a system that treats them like adults,' McConnell told KRON4's Sara Stinson. McConnell said he has raised $17K during the walk. His goal remains at $50K, and he is hoping for more donations or a match. He said he successfully completed 100 miles by walking during the day and camping at night. He also documented some of his trek. McConnell said that friends occasionally joined him at the beginning and end of the walk but contends he finished the adventure solo. 3 underrated Netflix shows you should watch this weekend (June 6-8)
Although Netflix constantly recommends the latest and greatest shows, you might be looking for something a little more underrated on the service. You're in luck if that's the case. We've pulled together three shows that are each very different, but all offer you something that Netflix might not naturally recommend. Netflix is filled with interesting stuff, and hopefully this list is an indication of all the options you have: Recommended Videos Need more recommendations? Then check out the best new shows to stream this week, as well as the best shows on Netflix, the best shows on Hulu, the best shows on Amazon Prime Video, the best shows on Max, and the best shows on Disney+. Six Feet Under (2001-2005) One of the great HBO shows of the early 2000s, Six Feet Under follows the family owners of a funeral parlor as they make death their family business. When a wayward son returns home to become a partner in the business after their father's death, they reckon with one another and the devastating loss. Six Feet Under is dark, funny, and ultimately one of the smartest shows ever written about the nature of human life and its ending. Six Feet Under is a show about the profound truth that death comes for us all and about what it means to face that reality. You can watch Six Feet Under on Netflix. GLOW (2017-2019) A remarkable, canceled-too-soon comedy series, GLOW is loosely based on the gorgeous ladies of wrestling. The show follows a group of women who become female wrestlers in Los Angeles and slowly come to realize just how empowering it can be to get in the ring. As they navigate their relationships to one another and their changing role as wrestlers, GLOW was never anything less than entertaining. Anchored by Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, and Mark Maron, GLOW was genuinely great, and it should have gotten the chance to end properly. You can watch GLOW on Netflix. Baby Reindeer (2024) A series that is at turns tense and hilarious, Baby Reindeer tells the story of a struggling comedian who finds out that he has a stalker. As he reckons with her adoration and tries to decide whether or not to encourage it, he begins to unpack trauma from his own past. Baby Reindeer is definitely a show in the mold of personal series from various comedians. In this case, the show can build tension because of the thrilling nature of its central story. Baby Reindeer is based on real events, although there's still plenty of dispute about how closely it hews to what actually happened. You can watch Baby Reindeer on Netflix.
