According to U.K. records obtained by Rolling Stone, the gross value of Payne's estate is £28,594,888 (about $38 million), while the net value — after debts and expenses are covered — amounts to £24,279,728 (or about $32 million). Along with Tweedy, the music industry lawyer Richard Mark Bray was named as one of the administrators of the former One Direction member's estate.

Because Payne died without a will, Tweedy and Bray will be responsible for Payne's money, property, and possessions, much of which could be put into a trust for Bear. The Guardian notes that laws in England and Wales stipulate that a person's spouse, and then their children, have first claim to the estate if there is no will.
As Rolling Stone reported earlier this year in a major investigation into Payne's life and death, the musician was often financially responsible for those around him after achieving so much success at a young age in One Direction. A source close to Payne's ex-girlfriend, Maya Henry, said that Payne felt 'the weight of financially supporting those around him,' especially after the middling success of his 2019 debut album, LP1.
'He had to keep working and making money and expressed his worries about his finances and the pressure to take care of those around him that became accustomed to a certain lifestyle,' the source said.
Payne died on Oct. 16, 2024 at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires. He died of multiple traumas and hemorrhaging caused by the fall, while a preliminary toxicology report stated that he had alcohol, cocaine, and a prescription antidepressant in his system. Authorities in Argentina ultimately found that Payne likely fell from the balcony while trying to escape the hotel after being locked in his room.
Still, prosecutors did bring involuntary manslaughter charges against two hotel workers and Payne's friend, Roger Nores, over their alleged role in his death. While the trio were eventually acquitted, two other people, accused of selling Payne drugs, remain detained as they await trial.

Justin Bieber fans beg him to ‘get help' as he appears to be ‘seriously struggling' in new photos: ‘Sad to watch'

Justin Bieber's fans begged him to 'get help' after he appeared to be 'seriously struggling' in new bathroom selfies shared on Instagram. On Saturday, the 'Stay' hitmaker shared a collection of photos that showed him posing awkwardly and making a series of funny faces in the mirror. 'U could point at my flaws,' he captioned the carousel. 'Or u could recognize ur own lil bitch.' 'So hard and sad to watch. Why are the people around him not helping him when he's clearly struggling. He's not clear at all and hurting,' one of his followers commented. Another social media user added: 'Awh [sic] good love him seriously struggling it's looking like Liam Payne and Britney [Spears] someone needs to help him before it's to [sic] late.' 'Babe. Please go get help,' another chimed in, while someone else wrote that the 'Peaches' singer — who recently was seen sporting a mystery injury — is 'slowly turning into the Britney Spears of our generation.' A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. The singer's behavior has been a topic of concern after he began exhibiting 'strange' behavior at his wife Hailey Bieber's Rhode skin event, which sparked fan speculation that the singer had been taking drugs. Though Justin's rep slammed the 'harmful' rumors of drug use in February, the Grammy winner, 31, hasn't shied away from unapologetically flaunting his marijuana use in the time since. Recently, he showed off his drug use in an Instagram post as he shared a photo of himself smiling in an armchair while a massive bong sat in his lap. He also admitted to ripping off Hailey with a phone case used to hold blunts modeled after her patented Rhode lip gloss-carrying cases. In April, several people close to the singer expressed their worry for his mental health, telling the Hollywood Reporter that they feared he was falling apart mentally amid rumors of his financial troubles. 'Seeing him disintegrate like this … it's watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,' a former team member told the outlet. 'He's lost,' the former colleague continued. 'There's no one protecting him because there's no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.'

Conan Gray Announces New Album ‘Wishbone'

Conan Gray surprised fans this morning by announcing that his fourth album, Wishbone, will be released on August 15th. The lead single, 'This Song,' is set to drop next week. Gray shared the news in a lengthy post, revealing that he had been slowly writing new music on his own, late after shows and between tours over the past two years. 'I'd come back home and write all the things I felt nobody wanted to hear,' he explained, 'maybe even the things i didn't want people to hear.' 'But over time, I began to feel something I'd never felt before,' he wrote. 'I started to need the music. I listened in airports, in long cab trips, blaring in the shower. In heartbreak, then in joy. I started to play it for my friends, and they started to need it too. In car ride requests with the windows down, in a split pair of wired headphones on the subway home. It became an egregiously niche soundtrack to our own lives in real time, singing just for us.' After playing the songs for frequent collaborator Daniel Nigro, Gray began to record the album. 'It felt like the music was reminding me who I am, at an experimental time in my twenties where 'who I am' had no definition at all,' he continued. 'My driftwood childhood in texas. My lucid summers in London. My blue striped bed sheets in my college apartment.' Gray added that every song was written by himself, in his pajamas, in his bed. Nigro, along with Ethan Gruska, Noah Conrad, Elvira Anderfjärd, and Luka Kloser, produced the album. The fantastical album cover depicts Gray dressed like a sailor floating on a pillow and holding a large wishbone of the album's namesake. 'Here's so much left to say, but I'll say it in the music,' he wrote. In a postscript to the message, he added that 'a wishbone never breaks even.' Gray released his third LP Found Heaven last April. He subsequently went on tour that summer in support of the album. He'll be playing Governors Ball in New York this June.
