Air India has cancelled 8 flights, including international & domestic, due to maintenance works. Affected routes include Dubai to Chennai and Delhi to Melbourne, and Pune to Delhi.
Following emergence of technical glitches in multiple Air India aircraft in past few days, the Tata group carrier has cancelled several domestic and international flights on Friday. The flights have been cancelled owing to enhanced maintenance works and operational reasons, the airline said in a statement.
As per the airlines statement, four international flights and as many domestic flights have been cancelled.
Which Air India Flights Are Cancelled For Friday?
The international flights that stand cancelled include AI906 from Dubai to Chennai, AI308 from Delhi to Melbourne, AI309 from Melbourne to Delhi and AI2204 from Dubai to Hyderabad.
While the affected domestic flights include AI874 from Pune to Delhi, AI456 from Ahmedabad to Delhi, AI-2872 from Hyderabad to Mumbai and AI571 from Chennai to Mumbai.

3 Air India Flights Cancelled on Wednesday
The airline stated the Toronto-Delhi flight AI188 was cancelled due to extended maintenance and consequently operating crew coming under regulatory flight duty time limitation norms.
Additionally, flight AI996 from Dubai to Delhi on June 18, 2025 was cancelled due to technical reasons and passengers had to disembark the plane after boarding.
