Maal Hijrah 1447 Calls For Unity, Compassion And Progress
KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- The Islamic New Year of Maal Hijrah 1447 should serve as a renewed commitment to strengthening unity, cultivating compassion, and building a peaceful, progressive and resilient nation capable of facing any challenge, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He said Awal Muharam is a significant moment for self-reflection, renewing resolutions, and reinforcing the spirit to continue striving for improvement as individuals, families, communities and as a nation.
'God willing, may this new year bring abundant blessings, grace, and strength for us to move forward with confidence and trust in His plan,' he said in a Facebook post today.
