Coskun Celebrates 150 Million TikTok Views for ‘Angels & Tears' with Jazzy Hip-Hop Lo-Fi Breakthrough

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, March 8, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- London-based music producer and beatmaker Coskun is drawing industry attention with his viral hit ' Angels & Tears,' a jazzy hip-hop lo-fi track that has surpassed 150 million views on TikTok. With over two decades of experience mastering Pro Tools and FL Studio, Coskun has also amassed more than five million combined streams for tracks produced for various artists, solidifying his status as a rising force in today's music scene. Known for crafting infectious beats and industry-level productions, Coskun continues to push boundaries in hip-hop, melodic pop, lo-fi, and experimental sounds—an unmistakable signature that resonates with both casual listeners and dedicated fans.
Viral Success Fueled by Gaming & Social Media
'Angels & Tears' received an unexpected boost from a RAID: Shadow Legends TikTok ad, which paired Coskun's gritty yet smooth beat with the game's energetic visuals. The result was an explosive spike in user engagement, catapulting the track to viral status. Coskun credits his loyal supporters and the power of social media for this milestone, stating, 'Reaching 150 million views feels unreal. I'm grateful for everyone who has streamed, liked, or shared the track. It's proof that genuine creativity can connect with people on a massive scale.'
Deep Musical Roots & Expanding Reach
Coskun's passion for music dates back to childhood, when he began experimenting with his father's cassette player at the age of four. Over two decades later, his breadth of experience spans multiple genres, from hard-hitting hip-hop to melodic pop and experimental soundscapes. Despite his success, Coskun remains keenly focused on growth, with the goal of extending his audience reach and credibility.

'Watching them take off without a mention stung, so I chose to concentrate on collaborations with those who appreciate the work. Now that 'Angels & Tears' is taking off, it's my turn to shine.'
A Sound TikTok Can't Resist
With an irresistibly chill yet dynamic sound, 'Angels & Tears' has become a backdrop for all types of TikTok content, including comedic sketches and heartwarming pet clips. 'The videos are pure gold,' Coskun observes. 'Seeing people enjoy my lo-fi track in so many creative ways keeps me inspired. This is exactly why I love producing music—connecting with the world through sound.'
Looking Forward
Coskun remains in the studio, cooking up new tracks that build on the momentum of 'Angels & Tears.' He continues to focus on forging genuine partnerships and producing boundary-pushing music. Gavin Newsom is having his social media moment

'Fuck around' and 'find out,' read a TikTok post, following a screenshot announcing that California is suing President Donald Trump for deploying the National Guard to the streets of Los Angeles. But the TikTok wasn't shared by a typical meme account—it came from California Governor Gavin Newsom. 'I damn near fell over when I realized this was Gov. Newsom's page,' one user commented. Since Friday, demonstrations have erupted across Los Angeles in protest of the president's immigration policies and the ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids. Although many of the demonstrations have remained peaceful, there have been violent incidents including authorities deploying tear gas and rubber bullets, and protestors setting Waymo vehicles ablaze throughout the city. As tensions escalated, the Trump administration deployed the National Guard and Marines—despite objections from local officials—sparking a lawsuit from the state, threats of arrest against Governor Newsom, and a surge of defiant memes. 'And remember kids, the next time anybody tells you 'the government wouldn't do that', oh yes they would,' says the popular TikTok sound used on Newsom's official account video, playing over screenshots of news headlines and images of armed forces confronting demonstrators. In another viral video from the governor's page, which amassed over 5.4 million views, Taylor Swift's 'You Need To Calm Down' plays over a series of photos of the two politicians. 'r u ok?' the post asks, with a caption reading: 'America's keyboard warrior.' Newsom's clapback drew widespread praise in the comments. 'I do disagree with Newsom a lot but him standing up to tyranny and standing with your state takes some serious guts. Hats off to you Newsom,' wrote one user. He's also taken to his personal account to deliver meme-laced messages to Trump—one featuring a photoshopped image of the president wearing a crown, captioned 'send in the troops.' The slideshow ends with a shot from the musical Hamilton, with text reading: 'Democracy is under assault right before our eyes. It's time for all of us to stand up.' The online showdown has significantly boosted Newsom's social media presence, growing his personal TikTok account by approximately 397,000 followers and his official Governor account by 479,000 since Friday. Newsom is the latest in a growing number of politicians leveraging memes and social media to bypass traditional media and speak directly to the public through humor. Famously, Kamala Harris gained momentum during her presidential campaign with ' Brat summer ' and the coconut tree trend, while Joe Biden leaned into the viral ' Dark Brandon ' meme during his reelection campaign. Although meme strategies can generate enthusiasm and visibility, the 2024 election results suggest that online popularity doesn't always translate at the polls.

Mom Thought Her Toddler Was Just Playing. Then Something Caught Her Eye (Exclusive)

One evening, Alex Moore was playing with her 23-month-old daughter, Addy They were being silly and listening to nursery rhymes when all of a sudden, Addy started dancing Alex watched as her daughter slid off the bed and began doing little high-kick stompsAlex Moore and her husband, Christian, both work full-time. So after wrapping up their workdays and picking up their daughter from daycare, the North Carolina-based couple likes to wind down by laying in bed to decompress. One evening, Christian went to make dinner while Alex stayed back to play with their 23-month-old daughter, Addy. They were being silly and listening to nursery rhymes when all of a sudden, Addy started dancing. Alex watched as her daughter slid off the bed and began doing little high-kick stomps. "I had no idea what she was doing until she said 'cha cha??' " Alex, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. Alex goes on to explain that her daughter learned the "Cha-Cha Slide" by DJ Casper at daycare. She says her teacher, Ms. Mikaila, plays the song often and has been teaching the kids the steps. Although Ms. Mikaila had previously sent Alex videos of Addy dancing along to the "Cha-Cha Slide" at daycare, this was the first time she had seen her daughter perform some of the correct steps in person — especially the stomping and the 'hands on your knees' move. "She was walking around stomping her feet with almost a high-kick fashion, and I kept giggling because I'd never seen her stomp like that before," Alex, a aesthetics technician, says. In the moment, Alex pulled out her phone and recorded the sweet scene. Later, she decided to post it to TikTok, thinking, 'This is too good to not share with more people.' But then, the video quickly went viral, amassing more than 7.4 million views and 13,000 comments. "I knew she was demanding the cha cha slide at daycare' is in incredible statement in itself 😭," one user wrote. "and it is already knows her left and right ✅️❤️," someone else replied. Another person commented, "That's actually so impressive that she knows the cha cha slide at her age .. what an icon." Reading through the comments, Alex says she couldn't help but smile. "The kind of responses I've received from the video are the exact ones I was hoping," she says. " 'This made my day, thank you so much.' It was an added bonus to hear that my daughter could excel in a dance class, because what parent doesn't want to hear that their child has a knack for something?" "My daughter brings me so much joy every day, so I really loved that I could do that for other people," the mom adds. "Also hearing from other daycare employees that they'll start implementing the song into their classrooms for teaching directions, and dance teachers that she has amazing skills for her age — that feedback really stood out to me the most." Since her daughter is so young, Alex knows won't remember much from this time, but in teaching her about it in a few years, she hopes her daughter realizes that she made a lot of people smile when they felt like they couldn't. "Addy has taught me that children truly are like flowers: when they're given a loving environment, taught things with patience and in a fun way, they can blossom into the best versions of themselves," she says. "Along with truly being able to dance your little heart out when you feel it!" Read the original article on People

Sabrina Carpenter's 'Manchild' Is Clawing Toward a Hot 100 #1 Debut

Sabrina Carpenter is no longer the rising pop princess. She's a fully formed femme fatale with diamond fangs, and her latest venom-laced single, 'Manchild,' is biting deep into the Billboard charts and possibly clawing its way to a #1 debut on the Hot 100. What started as a sleek feminist kiss-off has exploded into a bona fide streaming juggernaut, and as of this moment, Sabrina is in a deadly close race with TikTok heartthrob Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' for the top spot. According to projections, the songs are now within just 10 chart points of each other, an astonishingly tight margin that could tip in Sabrina's favor if her streaming momentum continues through the week. 'Manchild' didn't just whisper its way onto streaming platforms it stomped in, six-inch heels and all. The track debuted at #1 on the Global Spotify Chart on June 6 with a staggering 8.05 million streams worldwide, marking the biggest debut of the year by a female artist. Let's be very clear: this isn't just a fluke. These numbers obliterate the previous 2025 record set by Chappell Roan's 'The Giver' and cement Sabrina as not just a pop girl but a pop girl. In the U.S. specifically, 'Manchild' dropped jaws with 3.3 million streams on its first day, giving it a firm grip on the #1 spot on the U.S. Spotify Chart. That's right: Sabrina Carpenter is topping streaming charts in the same week as new releases from Post Malone, Cardi B, and even a surprise drop from The Weeknd. The girl is unfazed, unbothered, and undeniably unstoppable. Here's the breakdown of 'Manchild''s first three days on Spotify: Day 1: 8,752,217 Day 2: 4,766,328 Day 3: 4,526,518 (down only 5.03% from the day before) Total so far? A cool 18,045,063 streams. And she's just getting started. Sabrina isn't just relying on vibes she's playing this game with ruthless pop star precision. 'Manchild' has been discounted to 69 cents on digital platforms, making it one of the best-selling singles of the week on U.S. iTunes, where it now sits pretty at #1. This is Sabrina's first #1 on iTunes, and with digital sales factored heavily into Billboard's Hot 100 formula, this price drop could be the razor-sharp move that slices Alex Warren's lead. For those doing the math: digital sales + massive streaming + Spotify dominance + strong radio adds starting this weekend equals a serious threat for a #1 debut. Let's not ignore the elephant in the studio: 'Manchild' is a banger. It's a breathless, flirtatious slap in the face to immature men wrapped in syrupy vocals and a glossy, hyper-pop beat. It's 'thank u, next' for the Gen Z TikTok generation—but with better shoes and sharper claws. The lyrics? Savage. The delivery? Pornographicly confident. And if TikTok is any indication (over 350,000 video creations and counting), the girls, gays, and emotionally neglected situationships are all eating it up. Here's what we know. Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' has been the sleeper hit of the season, riding high on streaming and viral sentimentality. But streaming alone won't be enough to guarantee him the top spot if Sabrina keeps firing on all cylinders. If 'Manchild' continues to hold its streaming velocity and expands its sales lead through the week and if radio jumps in with last-minute spins it's entirely possible that Sabrina Carpenter could debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 next Monday. That would make her the first solo female artist to debut at #1 in 2025 a stat that's almost too poetic for a song this petty and perfect. The narrative has shifted. Sabrina isn't just the girl next door with a pretty voice she's a chart-dominating pop dominatrix, and 'Manchild' is her scorched-earth campaign against the industry's lingering doubt. Every stream, every sale, every sexy smirk in the song's viral lyric video is evidence: this woman came to conquer. So buckle up. The Hot 100 is about to get very, very interesting and Sabrina Carpenter might just be sitting at the top of it all.
