NFL WAG Kelly Stafford claims weed gummies make her a 'better parent' to four young children
She has her hands full raising four young children.
Now Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has candidly revealed the indulgence that helps her become a 'better parent' - weed gummies.
Stafford, 36, confessed the candies help take the edge off after particularly long days and 'calm' her down.
However she does wrestle with guilt over consuming the products.
'Gummies are great,' Kelly - who has twins Sawyer and Chandler, eight, plus Hunter, six, and Tyler, four, with her Super Bowl winning husband - said on latest episode of her podcast, The Morning After.
'Honestly... sometimes I feel like gummies make me a better parent,' she said, adding they 'calm' her down. 'It's like the glass of wine.'
The conversation came about Kelly enjoyed a gummy from Buddies Cannabis, which she praised as her 'favorite.'
'I called it... the glass of patience, by the time you get to bed and bath, you just, it makes you a better parent,' guest Kit Hoover explained.
'Thank you. Thank you for saying that,' Kelly said. 'Cause I feel a little guilty saying it and it's not like I do it every night.
'But sometimes I'm like, "s***, it has been a long day,"' Kelly said. 'I don't want to rip my hair out or their hair out, so I'm going to just top it off with a little gummy,' she explained.
Kit attempted to assuage her worry, insisting Stafford deserved the break.
And Matthew, who Kelly says is no stranger to her moods, also has no qualms with her ending the day with the gummy.
'I mean, this is what Matthew always tell me... as long as they're in bed, fed and happy and feel loved, who cares how they get there,' she said of her husband. 'Get 'em there, and some days might be harder than others.
'And he's fine with it. Cause he also knows when I get on one, it could be rough for everybody, including him,' she said.

The laughter she has shared with her children during these times also seems to help her overcome the guilt.
'I do feel a little guilt when I do that. But then like we laugh... oh my gosh my kids and I laugh, and I feel like they're like, "Mommy's nice tonight."'
'That means you're doing it right,' Kit assured her. 'If they're upset with you or say you're mean or you're whatever, that means you're doing it right.'
Kelly said that while her moods alternate, there's a 'balance' to them: 'Some nights I'm really mean, some nights I'm really nice and I feel like that's good balance.'

Pope Leo is related to Madonna
Pope Leo XIV is related to the pop singer Madonna, according to research that reveals the first American pontiff has family ties to a string of famous names. The Pope and the Like a Prayer star share a common ancestor who was born about six generations ago, making the pair ninth cousins. Madonna has a history of clashes with Catholics over her use of religious imagery in her music videos and shows. A New York Times investigation into the Pope's family tree has discovered that Madonna is not the only celebrity who can claim to be related to him. Pop star Justin Bieber shares the same common ancestor from the 1590s, a Canadian called Louis Boucher de Grandpré, with Madonna and the pontiff. That ancestor also makes the Pope a distant relative of Hilary Clinton, actress and director Angelina Jolie, former Canadian prime ministers Justin and Pierre Trudeau and On The Road novelist Jack Kerouac. New York Times magazine worked with genealogists at American Ancestors and the Cuban Genealogy Club of Miami to scrutinise the Pope's ancestry over the past 500 years. 'Noblemen, enslaved people, freedom fighters and slaveholders are all part of the family tree of the first American pope,' the magazine said on social media. 'Initial findings about the pope's ancestry revealed that he had African American ancestors. This was earthshattering news, but we knew it was only the beginning.' The head of the Catholic Church had 17 African-American ancestors, according to the research, which revealed complex family connections to American slavery. Eight of the Pope's identified ancestors were slaveholders, with most of them being black. His maternal fourth-great grandmother Marie Jeanne was enslaved by François Lemelle. She bore him at least six children. He freed Marie Jeanee and two daughters in 1772. When he died in 1789, he left her a fifth of his estates, including 15 slaves. Pope Leo's fourth-great grandfather Charles Louis Boucher de Grandpré was a commander of militia forces in Louisiana during the American Revolution. He captured British posts in 1777. Another ancestor, Antonio José de Sucre fought with Simón Bolívar against Spanish colonialism across Latin America. Sucre won a decisive victory over the Spanish at the Battle of Ayacucho in 1824, which effectively secured the independence of Peru. The Venezuelan general became Bolivia's first constitutionally elected president in 1825, succeeding Bolivar, but was assassinated in Berruecos, Colombia, five years later.

Patricia Heaton and Ray Romano reunite to celebrate 30 Years of Everybody Loves Raymond at special event in New York City
Patricia Heaton and Ray Romano reunited at PaleyLive: 30 Years of Everybody Loves Raymond in New York City on Monday. Patricia and Ray, who played the lead roles in the American sitcom, appeared in high spirits as the special event. The actress, 67, looked typically chic in a black satin midi dress with a large collar and quirky belt detail. She completed the look with chunky angle books and a stylish handbag, while keeping accessories to a minimum with just a few rings. Meanwhile Ray, 67, looked smart in a cream blazer, teamed with a grey T-shirt, trousers and trainers. The event, which also included other cast members like Brad Garrett and Maggie Wheeler, saw them reminiscing about the show and its enduring popularity. Maggie opted for a gold blazer and trouser co-ord, with a sheer white blouse underneath as she cuddled Patricia in on snap. Before the event, Patricia wrote on Instagram: 'Taking a moment to reflect. On my way to the Paley Center's 30 year tribute to Everybody Loves Raymond. 'Tonight I'll be with old coworkers -but more importantly, old friends. The cast and crew of Everybody Loves Raymond was rare. We weren't just punching the clock together -we were telling stories, raising kids and growing in so many ways. 'I'm also reminded of the ache of those we've lost. I know Peter, Doris and Sawyer are will be sharing this moment with us in spirit, smiling. 'I'm sure I'll be posting a bunch of the behind the scenes photos this week. Indulge me ;-) this was a wonderful group and a wonderful time. I thank God every day for this blessing.' Everybody Loves Raymond followed successful sports writer Ray (Romano) and wife Debra (Patricia) as they tried to cope with living across the street from his domineering mother Marie Barone (Doris Roberts), gruff father Frank (Peter Boyle), and jealous brother Robert (Brad Garrett). Ray and Debra also had three children on the series - daughter Ally (Madylin Sweeten), and twin boys (played by Madylin's real-life younger brothers, Sawyer and Sullivan). But any hope for an Everybody Loves Raymond reboot was recently extinguished by star Brad Garrett. The event, which also included other cast members like Brad Garrett and Maggie Wheeler, saw them reminiscing about the show and its enduring popularity Everybody Loves Raymond followed successful sports writer Ray (Romano) and wife Debra (Patricia) as they tried to cope with living across the street from his domineering mother Brad, who appeared in the sitcom as Robert Barone, addressed rumours of a reboot while attending the premiere of his new film Disney Pixar's Elio. Garrett said the reason the show could never return is due to the deaths of Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts, who played Romano's parents in the series. Veteran actor Peter passed away in 2006 at 71, and Sawyer Sweeten, who played one of Ray and Debra's twin sons, died in April at just 19. He told People: 'There is no show without the parents. 'They were the catalyst, and to do anything that would resemble that wouldn't be right to the audiences or to the loyal fan base. And it was about those two families, and you can't get around that.'
