The value of the stolen items has not been revealed.
Investigators have confirmed that no one was home at the time of the burglary.
The invasion of Pitt's home comes while the actor has been on an international press tour for F1: The Movie.
The 61-year-old was most recently seen at the film's European premiere in London's Leicester Square on Monday, arriving at the event with girlfriend Ines de Ramon. Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon walk the red carpet at the Leicester Square premiere of Pitt's latest film F1: The Movie. Credit: Supplied
The burglary is the latest in a string of celebrity home invasions in Los Angeles this year, with Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban facing a similar burglary on Valentines Day.
Pitt's representatives have declined to comment on the burglary to local media outlets.

‘I do have pants on': The Project says goodbye with teary and funny final episode

In the end The Project delivered what it always promised: news done differently. Axed after 16 years and more than 4000 episodes, Friday night's 90-minute farewell was tear-stained yet joyful, a celebration of everything that made The Project truly different: it gave a voice to 'everyday Australians' without ever being condescending. There was no gotcha journalism, just thoughtful reporting and campaigning that made a difference. It had celebrities and musicians, and a roll-call of Australian talent, many of whom found a home on show. I cried, they cried, and I can only imagine the party going on there now. Waleed Aly, Sarah Harris, Georgie Tunny and comedian Sam Taunton helmed the desk for the final night, with special appearances from original The 7.30pm Project hosts Carrie Bickmore, Dave Hughes and Charlie Pickering, who videoed in from New Zealand. Bickmore, who only left two years ago, recalled receiving an enormous bunch of flowers from Oprah Winfrey (her son later broke the vase they arrived in), meeting Brad Pitt while she was bare foot on a boat, and thanked the viewers for all 'the feedback I've received on my looks'. She also reflected on the enormous support her charity Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, which she started in 2015 after her husband Greg died of the disease. 'I wanted to raise a million dollars,' she said. 'I would not have raised over $25 million if it wasn't for you guys at home. When we started, I just wanted to raise awareness and now we have a brain cancer centre with people in clinical trials.' Hughes – perhaps the only person who didn't get teary – also recalled being so nervous on the day they met Brad Pitt, that he introduced himself as, 'Hi, I'm Dave, I'm friends with Eric Banana.' Pickering, meanwhile, said the first episode in 2016 was like 'building the plane while you fly it … somehow we figured it out. ' Loading Regular co-hosts Tommy Little, Susie Youssef and Rachel Corbett popped by. Hamish Macdonald and Lisa Wilkinson also dialled in, with both praising The Project's ability to make genuine change, with Wilkinson naming the uncovering of the 'toxic workplace culture at Parliament House' as a personal highlight.

Brad Pitt's AU$8.4M LA mansion ransacked by burglars while he's overseas

Brad Pitt's Los Angeles home was broken into. Police are currently investigating a burglary that reportedly took place at the actor's house. Pitt, 61, was not home at the time of the alleged break-in, law enforcement sources told NBC News. A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The Post that a break-in occurred around 10:30pm on Wednesday at a house in the Los Feliz neighbourhood. The spokesman did not disclose who the homeowner is or who lives at the residence. However, they did confirm that three suspects ransacked the house and made off with an unknown amount of property. TMZ later released photos outside Pitt's home, showing repairmen outside the residence. Sources claimed the suspects climbed over the actor's home fence and broke in through the front window. A spokesman on Pitt's team declined to comment. The break-in comes on the heels of the star promoting his new action movie F1, where he plays Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes. Pitt was at the London premiere on Tuesday with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. He also reunited on the red carpet with his former co-star Tom Cruise for the first time since 2001. The last time the Hollywood vets walked a carpet together was at the America: A Tribute to Heroes benefit concert in the early aughts. Pitt and Cruise, 62, famously starred in the 1994 horror film Interview with the Vampire. The Top Gun star took to social media to share a slew of pictures from the night out. Cruise captioned his Instagram carousel, 'Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!' As to whether the duo will ever work together again, Pitt joked to E! News earlier this month, 'I'm not gonna hang my ass off airplanes.' Cruise is known for his epic stunts, but according to the Bullet Train alum, he'll team up with the actor only 'when he does something again that's on the ground.' Although, while filming Interview With the Vampire, Cruise and Pitt had their fun. 'We did have our go-kart back in the '90s,' Pitt recalled. 'He got me in the end, I gotta admit.' When the outlet shared how Cruise was urging fans to go see Pitt's new film, the star replied, He's so sweet. He's sweet.' While Cruise is known for hanging out of airplanes, he couldn't help but praise Pitt for his skills behind the wheel. 'Brad's got a new movie, with Jerry Bruckheimer, Joe Kosinski,' Cruise said while at CinemaCon 2025 in April. 'I can't wait to see that this summer. It'll be awesome.' 'It's great to see Brad driving,' he added. 'He's very good. He's a very good driver. Believe me, I've raced against him. When we were doing Interview With the Vampire we'd go and race go-karts. We'd literally finish and go drive go-karts all night.' Bruckheimer, 81, and Kosinski, 51, collaborated with Pitt on F1 and with Cruise on 'Top Gun: Maverick.' In May, the director took a moment to reflect on working with the two while speaking with GQ magazine. 'Tom always pushes it to the limit, but at the same time is super capable and very skilled,' Kosinski explained. 'They both have the natural talent for driving. But yeah, I could see Tom maybe scaring us a little bit more.' He also revealed that Pitt and Cruise were set to reunite for his version of Ford v Ferrari, but the studio didn't approve the budget. Instead, James Mangold directed the 2019 sports film which starred Christian Bale and Matt Damon.
