In January this year, it was announced that former I'm A Celebrity campmate Sue Cleaver, 61, will leave Coronation Street.
After 25 years, she will depart the serial drama and leave her role as Eileen Grimshaw behind.
As part of her exit storyline, Ryan Thomas, 40, will reprise his role as her on-screen son Jason Grimshaw.
He will cause trouble on the street as he flirts with Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson).

She is the estranged wife of Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) who of course had an illicit affair with his brother Todd (Gareth Pierce).
However, spoilers also hint that Eileen's partner George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) could also be departing the show.
On the ITV serial drama, Eileen will contemplate her entire future as she is even left questioning her relationship.
He is set to get down on one knee and pop the question to her, but in awkward scenes Elineen does not seem as keen as he thought.

Meanwhile, Jason has set up a business in Thailand and he wants his mother to join him and move abroad.
Eileen will be extremely tempted by her son's offer as he asks her to be his new partner in the business.

When he mentions George, Eileen thinks that he would not want to go across the world with her.
But, George is keen to prove Eileen wrong when word gets back to him, and he will make a huge gesture.

He will book a holiday as a test run as he offers to leave Weatherfield with her and her son.
However, will Eileen stay with George as she prepares to leave the street she has called home for 25 years?
Coronation Street's 2024 shock exits
Corrie has said goodbye to several cast members this year. Let's break down who's left the famous soap:
Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo) has said farewell to Corrie to start a new life in Germany.
The youngster moved to live with her dad Dom Everett, who went back on the £10,000 bribe Eliza's grandfather Stu had offered to keep him out of her life.
Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) will bow out of the soap this summer when he loses his fight with motor neurone disease (MND) in tragic scenes.
After being diagnosed last year, the fan favourite was devastated to learn he only had months left to live.
Viewers know he is planning to take his own life to end his suffering.
Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) departed the cobbles after being offered the opportunity of a lifetime to study in America.
Though she struggled to decide with her stepdad Paul's impending death from MND, she was convinced she had to live her life to the full.
Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) has struggled with the sudden departure of his father Peter from the cobbles.
The Weatherfield legend left his family and loved ones behind on Boxing Day, 2023, when his wife Carla Connor encouraged him to travel around the world with a friend.
Simon's been on a downward spiral ever since and his exit could end in tragedy.
Alya Nazir is set to leave the cobbles as actress Sair Khan prepares to go on maternity leave ahead of the birth of her first child.
It looks likely she'll be heading to Dublin after securing a lucrative new job, leaving her colleague and fling Adam Barlow behind.
Show stalwart Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, is taking a break to star in the Sister Act The Musical UK tour. She will be back filming in May once her dates on the tour come to an end.
Her character left the Street after her son Jason broke his back after falling off a moped in Asia.
Will there be a sad split or will George be leaving the show with Eileen?
Meanwhile, Sue admitted that she feels that the storyline is the perfect send off for her iconic character.

Speaking about her forthcoming departure, she explained: "I said very much that I would like her to go off to pastures new, you know, to kind of mirror what I'm doing in a sense.
"And I just think it's time for a change. So it was perfect."
It was just so nice to have him [Ryan Thomas] back and filming those final scenes with him.

She added to The Mirror: "I'm so happy with the ending, and I was so humbled by it and the way it had been written and what it is.
"I felt very grateful to have such a wonderful ending written. It seemed very, very apt."

The actress also admitted that she wanted Ryan Thomas to come back for her exit.
Sue told the outlet: "When I decided to leave, like over a year ago, I rang Ryan, and I said, 'Ryan, I'm going to tell them that I'm going, and if they ask me about exits, I'd really like to say that you'd come back and take me out, but I don't know whether they'd go for it or not'.

"And he just went, 'Oh my gosh, of course, I would', which was so lovely for me.
She added: "It was just so nice to have him back and filming those final scenes with him. It just felt like I'd come full circle really."

A source told The Sun: 'Katie is gutted and tried everything she could to make it work but she has had to step away from the tour because she has childcare commitments and also a very busy schedule. "She hates letting her fans down and hopes to be able to do something similar in the future. "At the moment, it's unclear whether Kerry will continue without her or if the whole tour will be scrapped. "There is no bad blood between Kerry and Katie, they're still best of mates, but it's a huge blow to their fans.' A rep for Katie confirmed she has pulled out, saying: 'Yes, that's correct. Kate has childcare commitments that come first.' The duo were set to start their tour in Ellesmere Port on September 11 and conclude on October 22 in Hull. The Chase's Paul Sinha admits there's 'no truth' in his 'lie' about ITV show

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Standup comedian and star of ITV's The Chase, Paul Sinha, faced a tough Parkinson's Disease diagnosis in his 40s, yet he continues to tackle life with a sharp wit. On Tim Lihoreau's Guess Who's coming To Dinner podcast, Paul cheekily slipped in a fib among the truths provided to the show's producers. He included a fanciful tale about The Chase team having their own version of a haka, stating: "The New Zealand Rugby Union team have their haka, and we have our own war dance at The Chase." Paul, who celebrated his 55th birthday on Wednesday (May 28), claimed he was the mastermind behind the Chasers' unique haka, describing it as: "It's West Side Story Meets University Challenge. At the beginning of every day's recording, we perform it. The most joyous 28 minutes of the working day." (Image: Rowan Griffiths / Daily Mirror) However, Paul couldn't keep a straight face for long and confessed that his amusing anecdote was completely fabricated, saying there is "not even an iota of truth" in the story. While the image of Chasers like Mark 'The Beast' Labbett and Anne 'Governess' Hegerty busting a move on set is entertaining, they've both turned down offers to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. Anne has been candid about her dancing skills, or lack thereof: "I really can't dance," she said. "People have tried to get me to do Strictly, and no, it's just such a bad idea. It really is! Massive praise to the people who can do well - it's just not me." (Image: LightRocket via Getty Images) Earlier in the year, Mark Labbett admitted to a contestant on The Chase that he's "barred" from Strictly Come Dancing. Following Annaka from Newton Abbott's modest £2,000 win in a less-than-stellar lightning round, Mark quipped, "You quiz like I dance: it's not pretty and it's the reason I'm barred from Strictly." However, there doesn't seem to be any barrier for Strictly contestants joining The Chase. Joe Sugg, who was a 2018 Strictly finalist, earned a cool £8,000 in his cash builder round. (Image: Getty Images) As Joe deliberated over his final question, host Bradley Walsh encouraged him with the words: "You're gonna make history here, mate. If you go though you're making history." Joe correctly answered the hedgehog-related question, pushing his team's total to an impressive £213,000, setting up a tense final chase. In an edge-of-the-seat conclusion, despite answering 18 questions correctly, the team was caught by chaser Paul Sinha with 28 seconds left, resulting in the loss of their accumulated prize money. Nevertheless, each team member still managed to win £1,000 for their chosen charities.

Hong Kong 1 Man Utd 3: Chido Obi scores first United goals to avoid total embarrassment against former star's minnows

FINALLY, once and for all, Manchester United can wave goodbye to their nightmare 2024/25 campaign after the conclusion of their post-season tour in Asia. The Red Devils, playing in their second friendly of the tour against the Hong Kong national team, ended their season with a hopeful whimper as they laboured to a 3-1 win in Asia. 4 4 4 4 Chido Obi's second-half brace and Ayden Heaven's late header spared their blushes after they fell 1-0 behind before the break, with Ruben Amorim given food for thought on the potential use of the club's next generation going into next season. A team full of stars expected to leave this summer were paired with a group of youngsters fresh out of the academy to start the clash. The old guard included the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Jonny Evans, Tom Heaton, as well as flop squad Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho. Casemiro thought he had put Ruben Amorim's side in the lead after five minutes as he scored a header from a pinpoint Bruno Fermandes cross, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. Man Utd looked calm enough in possession after that, with Jayden Kamason producing a bright move down the right flank and Shea Lacey going close after a Garnacho cut-back. But as has been the case on numerous occasions this season, Amorim's side were made to pay for their lack of cutting edge and were undone by a goalkeeper howler. Hong Kong star Juninho was played in behind the defence and was forced wide by Godwill Kukonki. However, the subsequent shot somehow managed to go into the back of the net as the shot went under Heaton and into the net. That was Hong Kong's one and only shot of the entire half, but for United it was more of the same afterwards. Dominating the ball, effectively camped in the opposition half and yet unable to find a way past goalkeeper Ka Wing Tse. Glum Man Utd stars take part in humiliating 'open-top bus parade' with no trophy and hardly any fans After conceding the rain started hammering down on the Hong Kong Stadium, quite the thematic weather event for the clash considering the "never rains it pours" season the Red Devils have had. A drinks break in the 27th minute saw Amorim make his first changes, with Tyler Fletcher and Sekou Kone replacing Lacey and Casemiro. Close to half-time Fernandes tried to treat fans to what could be one last but of skill by attempting a cheeky rabona shot, but saw the shot saved. The captain caught the rebound and tried to lay it off to Hojlund who was slightly out of position before the clearance fell to another United star crashing in to shoot, only for that shot to be cleared off the line. Fredricson was able to get a free header at goal from a pinpoint Fernandes corner, but the contact was not clean and went straight at the goalkeeper. The final chance of the half saw a Fernandes shot blocked after a good press combo between him, Kone and Garnacho. Man Utd's own TV channel had had enough as well as the match footage froze at the end of injury time before Amorim completely changed the XI for the second half. Those changes immediately proved fruitful as Obi netted with his weak foot after Manuel Ugarte poked the ball to him on the edge of the area, with the teenager taking two touches to the left and lashing the ball into the net just four minutes following his introduction. The wide combination of Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo on the right and Mason Mount and Patrick Dorgu on the left proved to be a dangerous pairing with both sides causing plenty of issues for the hosts. Obi almost added a second a few minutes later when he was found by Mount in the area, but the ball went just wide of the mark. Hong Kong then caught United sleeping on the break and almost made it two goals from as many shot, but where Heaton was found wanting in the first half Altay Bayindir managed to save the ball following some heroic last-ditch defending by the fresh-faced United defence - whose oldest member was 18-year-old Heaven. In the closing stages, Obi added his second with a perfectly placed glancing header from a Mount cross. The game lost its tempo after that, with Heaven directing a header into the goal deep in injury time. The positive from this game is that there is clearly some talent in the academy which could be useful next season to fill the gaps in the squad. But most importantly, everyone involved can now get away and reset on the summer break.
