CHANNEL 4 has been slammed after using the mugshot of Southport monster Axel Rudakubana to plug its shows.
A Facebook ad featuring the triple killer's haunting face was captioned: "More of the shows you love, more of the shows you will love. Stream now on Channel 4."

Last week blundering telly bosses were forced to apologise over the gaffe after sparking fury from the town's MP.
Labour backbencher Patrick Hurley raged: "Is this some sort of joke?"
He added: "I'm really disappointed to see Channel 4 actively promote this image to Southport residents on Facebook, by buying ads targeting them.
"Please stop this."
Rudakubana, who killed three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in the town last July, had his custody photo splashed in a promo for the broadcaster's on-demand service.
It meant the harrowing snap was pushed into Facebook users' feeds without warning.
Grieving families scrolling Facebook could have been hit with the killer's image completely out of the blue - despite not following Channel 4.
The show linked to the ad was a 20-minute news special named 'Southport Killer Sentenced', broadcast after the killer was jailed at Liverpool Crown Court.
Bosses admitted the snap was used by mistake and had been removed.
A spokesperson said: "We apologise for any offence or upset this has caused."
Telly watchdog Ofcom confirmed it had received a complaint from Mr Hurley.
But a spokesperson said: "Decisions on how news is covered, including the choice of images, is an editorial matter for broadcasters."
Rudakubana is serving 52 years for murdering Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine.
The Sun this month revealed the fiend hurled scalding water over a prison officer while caged at max-security HMP Belmarsh.

Madeleine McCann: Search teams scour scrubland and abandoned buildings
Teams of German and Portuguese police officers, as well as firefighters, face the daunting task of hunting for evidence 18 years on from the disappearance of the British three-year-old in 2007. (PA Graphics) This week's operation is focusing on a sparsely developed area of land around 3.5 miles from Praia da Luz, where Madeleine was last seen while on holiday with her parents and siblings. She vanished after she was left sleeping in a room with her toddler twin brother and sister while her parents went for dinner with friends in a nearby restaurant. Kate and Gerry McCann are not commenting during the 'active police investigation', staff at the Find Madeleine Campaign said. Scrubland was cleared next to a derelict and abandoned property as part of the search operation (James Manning/PA) On Wednesday, officers were seen clearing vegetation around abandoned buildings, wearing protective gear such as hard hats and face masks, and a digger was used to move rubble. The area where they are working is an area of fields and scrubland between a main road and the sea, with a few buildings including a vineyard. Search teams use a digger during the painstaking operation (James Manning/PA) It has been variously reported that teams will look where trenches were dug near the resort at the time of Madeleine's disappearance, at wells, ruins and water tanks, and that there are plans to examine 21 pieces of land. The search is being carried out at the request of the German federal police, as they look for evidence that could implicate prime suspect Christian Brueckner, who is in prison for raping a 72-year-old woman in Praia da Luz in 2005. He is due to be released from jail in September if no further charges are brought. Tents have been put up for the officers to use during the search activity (James Manning/PA) In October last year, Brueckner was cleared by a German court of unrelated sexual offences, alleged to have taken place in Portugal between 2000 and 2017. About 30 German police, including forensic experts, are expected to take part in the search alongside Portuguese officers. The operation is expected to last until Friday. The Metropolitan Police said they were aware of the operation but that British officers will not be present. (PA Graphics) German investigators and Portuguese officers last carried out searches in 2023, near the Barragem do Arade reservoir, about 30 miles from Praia da Luz. Brueckner, who spent time in the area between 2000 and 2017, had photographs and videos of himself near the reservoir. It was previously searched in 2008, when Portuguese lawyer Marcos Aragao Correia paid for specialist divers to search it, after he claimed to have been tipped off by criminal contacts that Madeleine's body was there. British police were later given permission to examine scrubland near where she vanished in 2014.

Matt Dufty bans mum from Warrington cup final because she has never seen him win
Dufty's dad Glenn is planning to jet in from Australia in the hope of watching his son lift major silverware for the first time, but mum Leonie is under strict instructions to stay at home. 'My mum hasn't seen me win yet,' laughed Dufty. 'She's come over and watched me seven times and we've lost all seven. So she's not allowed to come this week.' Matt Dufty's dad is jetting in for this weekend's Betfred Challenge Cup final (Martin Rickett/PA) The 29-year-old Dufty, who joined the Wolves midway through the 2022 season, has emerged as an increasingly important component in a side whose spine has been ravaged by injuries during this campaign. He was coached by his dad from an early age and earned rave reviews in the NRL but is still missing the major trophy that he believes will make all his family's early sacrifices worthwhile. 'My dad's coming over for the game because he didn't get the opportunity to come and watch me play last year,' added Dufty. Warrington came up short in last year's final loss to Wigan (Bradley Collyer/PA) 'He's been a big part of my rugby league journey and he came out to watch me play in Las Vegas earlier this year, but he hasn't seen me lift anything professionally. 'So if I could get some silverware whilst he's watching I think it would be special for me and for our family.' Despite scoring his side's opening try, Dufty endured a final to forget last season when he was sin-binned after just five minutes and Warrington never fully recovered as they slid to an 18-8 defeat to Wigan. But he has continued to emerge as one of Super League's star playmakers this season, assuming extra responsibility during long injury lay-offs for the likes of captain George Williams and hooker Danny Walker. 'It's been a bit of a different year and while I probably haven't had the same impact on the team, I feel like I've grown into a different role,' added Dufty. 'For me it's been about learning and growing as a player and doing what's best for the team. I've learned a lot about myself as a player and a leader.' Having started in the game at the age of four after he was rejected for a soccer camp, Dufty grew up as a keen scholar of the game on both sides of the world, and can think of few better scenarios than capping his career with a Challenge Cup winners' medal. Matt Dufty is desperate for a first taste of major silverware (Martin Rickett/PA) 'It was always something we watched back home,' added Dufty. 'Then when you come over you realise how important the Challenge Cup is to English culture and how much prestige is behind it. 'Last year I got to experience it first-hand and it wasn't the way we wanted it, but we've got another chance two years in a row and the experience we gained from 2024 is going to be massive for us.'
