We Can't Stop Thinking About Rafe's Moving Words on Days of Our Lives
Since the Friday, April 25 episode of Days of Our Lives, we have been thinking about the scenes involving Rafe and Jada's breakup. Specifically, what he told her after he realized that she really wanted to break things off with him.
Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering) came to a somber end in the interrogation room of the Salem Police Precinct during the Friday, April 25 episode. It was unfortunate because this has arguably been their healthiest Salem relationship ever for both of them. That's not saying as much for Jada, considering she has only been in town for a couple of years.
But Rafe has been part of the Salem community for roughly 17 years. He and Jada were super cute and were headed for marriage until EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Rafe's doppelganger, Arnold Feniger (also Galen Gering), blew their relationship out of the water. The engaged couple slept with other people, and the baggage between them became too much. They couldn't recapture their trust or their glory days.
But Rafe dropped a surprise announcement during the break-up convo:
Yeah, you should also know that as soon as Steve comes back from Estonia, I'm gonna resign from Black Patch. I got a call from my old boss at the FBI, and he offered me an out-of-town position.
Rafe continued saying he was 'on the fence about it, but I suppose in light of recent developments, I'm gonna accept the offer.'

We've replayed this scene repeatedly and wonder what this means for Rafe and Galen Gering, the actor who's played Rafe and his doppelganger since 2008. There haven't been any announcements, so we assume that Rafe could be off the canvas for a while, but he will return someday soon.
After all, the way Rafe and Jada left things, they could reunite down the road after they live their separate lives and heal from the damage that was done and the trauma that they suffered. Rafe was held captive for weeks. Jada was humiliated in front of much of the town at her wedding. She practically lost her job. The man she thought was Rafe dropped her like a hot potato.

Even though they both need a break from each other, who knows? Jada has this connection to Shawn (Brandon Beemer) that keeps her in his vicinity. Rafe could explore more with Sami (Alison Sweeney) in Italy. There may be other relationships to experience, but this may not be the end of Rafe and Jada's story. It can always be revisited.

At the time of its release, Plane grossed $74.5 million at the box office on a $25 million budget, earning positive reviews from critics and a 78 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film also received stellar reviews from Rotten Tomatoes audience members, one of whom writes, 'Action, suspense and thrills galore. Gerard Butler, Mike Colter, Daniella Pineda and Tony Goldwyn give it dimension with brilliant character interpretations. The cinematography is good. The plot does have a couple of twists, though, and if suspense is your thing, this will keep you pinned to the screen and will not disappoint." Another reviewer adds, 'This was a great film. It was no less believable than action movies with Jason Statham or Liam Neeson. I was riveted the whole time. And for what it's worth, the fight scene was more realistic than most—not choreographed chops and kicks but grappling and struggling. If you want suspense, see this film.' The entire run of 'Twin Peaks' was just added to a streaming service you've probably never heard of — here's where to watch all 48 episodes now
It's the 35th anniversary of "Twin Peaks" this year, with the first episode of David Lynch's acclaimed mystery-horror drama premiering back on April 8, 1990. To celebrate, the streaming service Mubi has added all 48 episodes of the series — 30 episodes of "Twin Peaks" and 18 episodes of "Twin Peaks: A Limited Series Event" (also referred to as "Twin Peaks: The Return" or "Twin Peaks" season 3) — available to stream right now. If you haven't heard of Mubi, that's understandable. It's not currently on our list of the best streaming services, though we're planning to review it for consideration later this year. But I've been a Mubi subscriber for a while, and it's probably the best streaming service you've never heard of. Especially for cinephiles who love indie, arthouse and foreign films. So, for those who aren't familiar, let's dive into what "Twin Peaks" is about, why you need to watch it, and why Mubi is worth signing up for to stream the iconic series right now. "Twin Peaks" and its follow-up, "Twin Peaks: A Limited Series Event," are, for the most part, about the investigation of the murder of Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee). The shows are set in the fictional Pacific Northwest town of Twin Peaks, and stars Kyle MacLachlan as FBI special agent Dale Cooper, who is tasked with investigating the local teen's untimely demise. Brilliant airhead! Conman scored 120 free flights in clever ‘Catch Me If You Can'-style scam
Paging Frank Abagnale, Jr.! A Florida conman scored more than 120 free flights by posing as a crew member with at least seven different airlines in a wild, 'Catch Me If You Can'-style scam, according to federal prosecutors. Tiron Alexander, 35 — whose scheme echoes that of the real-life imposter pilot who inspired the Leonardo DiCaprio movie — was convicted of fraud June 5, according to the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. Advertisement Alexander took swindling to new heights by submitting scores of fake flight attendant credentials, including phony badge numbers, to book free flights between 2018 and 2024, federal prosecutors said. The scam echoes the one featured in the 2002 movie 'Catch Me If You Can.' Svitlana – The clever airhead turned in the bogus paperwork, complete with roughly 30 fabricated hire dates and ID numbers, to get aboard flights without paying — a perk only offered to pilots and crew members, prosecutors said. Advertisement All told, Alexander went on at least 34 free flights and booked a total of at least 120 without ever working for any of the airlines involved, authorities said. The fraudster previously worked for an unidentified airline in Dallas but was never a pilot or flight attendant for the firm, according to the prosecutors. Crew members and pilots are given free flights by airlines. Svitlana – He was found guilty of wire fraud and entering secure airport areas under false pretenses and faces up to 20 years behind bars. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 25. Advertisement By contrast, 'Catch Me if You Can' tells the true story of conman Frank Abagnale, Jr. who impersonated a Pan Am pilot, a doctor and a lawyer — all before turning 19 years old. He was eventually caught in 1970 and later used his expertise in fraud to work with the FBI.
