As donations dwindle, CBB asks community to donate blood this spring
(WJET/WFXP) – A Pennsylvania blood bank is asking residents to spring into action.
On Tuesday, April 29, the Community Blood Bank (CBB) announced that, due to the warmer weather, they are seeing a decrease in donors, which is affecting their blood supply.
Splash Lagoon to host special Mother's Day weekend event
The blood bank is currently critically low on O+, O- and A- blood, but all blood types are needed.
To incentivize donors, the blood bank is raffling off a Blackstone grill to one lucky person who donated blood in the month of April.
While walk-ins are welcome, CBB recommends scheduling an appointment. Those interested in donating can find more information here.
