Sudhanshu Pandey shared that the experience in The Traitors was meditative, as there were no phones, no internet and just one TV.
Sudhanshu Pandey has stayed away from television since he exited Anupamaa. After leaving the daily soap, he wanted to try something different. Now, he's back in action as a contestant on The Traitors, a reality show hosted by Karan Johar, where he's competing with 19 others. At first, the show may seem like something out of his comfort zone, but Sudhanshu actually found it very peaceful. He shared that the experience was 'meditative," as there were no phones, no internet and just one TV. This gave him a chance to observe others closely and think more about human nature.
In a recent conversation with ETimes, the actor speaking about the experience on the show and what he's learnt so far, he said, 'It was a very meditative space to be in because we would play the whole day and then go back to our rooms at night and be just completely by yourself. There was only one TV, there was no internet, there was nothing, there was no phone, there was no WiFi. So you were completely disconnected."
'I was observing everybody there and how they behave. They were splitting their personality every other second. You realise, there are all sorts of people there. So, it makes you sit and observe the kind of people around you or what kind of people are they growing into. It was a great observation class for me and a great vacation, I would say," Sudhanshu Pandey explained.
The Anupama star feels that for Karan Johar, hosting The Traitors must have been tough for him. Since the filmmaker enjoys talking and connecting with people, staying silent and serious for a show like this was not easy for him. He had to hold back his usual energy and remain calm. Sudhanshu also spoke about why he doesn't expect to have fights with anyone on the show. He explained that he always treats people with respect, and because of that, he usually gets the same respect back.
Sudhanshu Pandey further explained that he didn't plan any special strategy for the show. He decided to just be himself and act naturally, without pretending or showing any fake image. For him, a reality show is meant to show the true side of a person. Since he has been in the industry for many years, he feels this is a good chance for the audience to see his real side. He wants people to connect with the real version of him.
Other than Sudhansu Pandey, The Traitors also feature Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sufi Motiwala and Uorfi Javed.

Kuberaa Review: Dhanush & Nagarjuna Deliver Fireworks | Rashmika's Surprise Act | Fans React social media reaction Dhanush's unconventional portrayal of a beggar has been receiving an overwhelming response from fans on social media. Audiences have also praised Rashmika and Nagarjuna for their choice of scripts. In any case, strong word-of-mouth may prove beneficial for the film over the weekend. The makers can expect a strong showing on Saturday (June 21), as the film enters its first weekend and second day of release. ETimes' review of Kuberaa reads: 'Dhanush is in top form, delivering a performance that's remarkably restrained yet emotionally resonant. His physical transformation—from a beggar with a photographic memory to a financial ghost—is as telling as his inner conflict. He truly gets under the skin of the character, striking an emotional chord as a compassionate man who cares for both people and animals. Nagarjuna Akkineni surprises with a stoic, subdued act that smoulders beneath the surface. Rashmika Mandanna continues her successful streak, adding innocent humour through her naïve charm. Jim Sarbh commands attention as the antagonist, bringing a quiet menace to the role. The supporting cast adds texture, though some roles could have used more depth.'

Sudhanshu Pandey slams Apoorva Mukhija for 'highly inappropriate' tone towards Ashish Vidyarthi: ‘Jab aapki zubaan kharaab ho jaaye na...'

Anupamaa actor Sudhanshu Pandey has called out influencer Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, for her dismissive comment about veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi on the reality show The Traitors. During a recent Instagram Live, Sudhanshu said he found her tone 'highly inappropriate' and far from respectful. Referring to Apoorva 's remark—'Mujhe lagta hai Ashish jaayega' (I feel Ashish will be eliminated)—Sudhanshu questioned the casual manner in which she spoke about a senior artist. 'Is he your childhood friend or what?' he asked bluntly. Sudhanshu takes on Apoorva's tone about senior actor Sudhanshu clarified that he wasn't trying to vilify Apoorva as a person. 'I'm not saying she's a bad person. She's a good kid. I'm sure she has a good heart too,' he said. 'But jab aapki zubaan kharaab ho jaaye na, toh wo sab kuch kharaab kar deti hai.' (When your words turn foul, they ruin everything.) He explained that no matter how popular someone is, basic respect for senior professionals should not be compromised. 'Everything else goes for a toss if you do not have the know-how about what to say, and how to speak, about people who are senior to you,' he added. Calls out Gen Z behaviour, cites his own kids as contrast Sudhanshu also addressed the larger cultural issue of how Gen Z engages with elders, stating that such behaviour reflects poorly on the younger generation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Thị trường có dấu hiệu suy thoái không? I think this is the biggest bullsht, and it's like a curse on our society,' he said in the Live. Drawing a parallel from his own family, he shared, 'Even I have kids, and even they are Gen-Z and they are extremely respectful to other people. So I am sorry, I think there are a lot of problems.' Sudhanshu emphasised that Ashish Vidyarthi, whom Apoorva casually referred to, is a veteran actor and highly respected in the industry. 'Ashish bhai is very senior to me as well. So, behind my back, she was talking about Ashish bhai, and saying, 'Mujhe lagta hai Ashish jayega,'' he reiterated.

'Paresh Rawal is such a talented actor, 99 percent of the industry would want to work with him,' says Kussh S Sinha about directing the actor in his first film

Kussh S Sinha is set to make his directorial debut with 'Nikita Roy' set to release on June 27. The film stars his sister Sonakshi Sinha in the titular role. It also stars Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal. In a recent chat with ETimes, when asked how it was for him to have such talented actors just on his first film, Kussh said, "A lot of it had to do with luck and strength of the story. With Sonakshi, there were multiple times when we wanted to collaborate, but it didn't work out. But with this story, she saw the value of this character Nikita Roy. It was a smart, strong, independent character." He also revealed why in his mind, there were very few actors who could play Nikita. Apart from Sonakshi being his sister, Kussh considers her as a great actor. "She has always been very good. 'Lootera' which was her 2nd or 3rd film but she was so good, of course, Vikramaditya Motwane had a lot to do with it. But she does have something special. Which is also why I wanted to work with her in Nikita Roy. An actor who is willing to put in those emotions, willing to look gritty. In my mind, there were very few actors who could do it." Talking about Paresh Rawal amidst all the buzz around the actor with regards to 'Hera Pheri 3', Kussh said, "With Paresh ji again, I feel extremely fortunate that we just had to have two meetings with him and he was on board. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Florida New Policy for Senior Drivers The Quote General Learn More Undo That gave me confidence when he came on board. He's spoilt for choice. Because Paresh ji is such a capable actor, any director would want to work with him. 99 percent of the industry would want to work with Paresh Rawal ji. " Ask him if it's easy for a director when there are such actors or is it more challenging, Kussh said, "With regards to getting the performance, it definitely makes it easier. It's challenging but it's a good challenge. You have to make sure you are communicating with them the way you need to. You have to evolve and up your game in order to communicate with actors of such caliber."
