
TNPSC Group 4 application window closes today; apply now for 3935 posts
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will close the registration window today, May 24, for the Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group IV Services) under Advt. No. 07/2025. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website tnpsc.gov.in.
The correction window will open from May 29 to 31, 2025. The exam is likely to be held on July 12 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The recruitment drive aims to fill 3935 vacancies. Application Fee
The applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs 100. Candidates belonging to special categories can avail of exemption from paying examination fees as per eligibility criteria.

Maradu muncicipality hands over flat keys to housing scheme beneficiaries
Kochi: Keys of Mahatma Ayyankali Housing Complex, constructed for scheduled caste (SC) families without land or housing within Maradu municipality, were officially handed over by opposition leader V D Satheesan on Thursday. The complex, with an area of 6,856 sq ft, consists of eight flats — each with a living room, kitchen, balcony and two bedrooms with attached bathrooms — providing modern housing facilities for beneficiary families. Located in division 30 of the municipality, 20 cents was purchased for the project in 2015-16 spending Rs 87.88 lakh. Total construction cost amounted to Rs 2.68 crore. The function, chaired by municipal chairman Antony Ashanparambil, was attended by Hibi Eden, MP, K Babu, MLA, as well as municipality councillors. In his inaugural address, Satheesan said Maradu municipality set a model for other local bodies through such exemplary development initiatives. He added that completion of projects focusing on holistic development of SC communities offers inspiration for planning similar projects in his constituency as well. Marking the occasion, which coincided with World Environment Day, Satheesan also planted a fruit-tree sapling on the housing complex premises.

CLAT 2025 round 2 seat allocation announced with freeze, float, exit options
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has unveiled the Round 2 seat allocation list for the CLAT 2025 counselling process. Candidates should visit the official website to view their allotment. Upon seat allocation, three paths lie ahead: Freeze, Float, or for Freeze means securing the seat by paying a Rs 20,000 confirmation fee, which cannot be who select Freeze during Rounds 1 or 2 must finalise the university fee payment by 14 June Applicants opting to Float can retain their current seat while staying open to higher preferences in subsequent rounds.
