's former aide and MAGA star Steve Bannon Saturday said 'the party is on' and it's another weekend in this unfolding aspect of the third world war. "I'm just reporting what I'm hearing from pretty good sources," Bannon said while several B-1 bombers moved to Guam.
It was not known whether the bomber deployment was connected to Middle East tensions.
The B-2 can be equipped to carry America's 30,000-pound GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, designed to destroy targets deep underground. One official said no forward orders had been given yet to move the bombers beyond Guam. They did not say how many B-2 bombers are being moved.
Experts are now closely watching whether the B-2 bombers will move forward to a US-British military base on the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia, which is an ideal position to operate in the Middle East.

According to an ABC News report, Steve Bannon sat down for lunch with Donald Trump Thursday as Bannon has been playing an outsized role in Trump's Iran decisions. Before Thursday, Trump reportedly approved a plan on how the US might attack an Iranian nuclear facility.
The USS Nimitz – an aircraft carrier that can carry some 60 fighter jets – was set to arrive in the Middle East by the weekend with several smaller ships by its side.

US President Donald Trump has said that the American military has completed airstrikes on three sites in Iran, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict with Israel. The airstrikes hit a key uranium enrichment site, Fordo, which had remained unscathed in Israeli attacks so far and is believed to be key to Iran's nuclear program. It is designed to attack 'deeply-buried facilities and hardened bunkers and tunnels', and is meant to destroy targets in well-protected facilities. Israel, or any country other than the US, does not have bombs that can penetrate a site as deep as Fordo. The MOP measures about 20.5 feet in length and 31.5 inches in diameter and weighs about 13,000 kg, according to the US Air Force. It is designed to penetrate up to 60 m of earth before exploding. The warhead is encased in a special high-performance steel alloy, which is meant to enable it to carry a large explosive payload while maintaining the penetrator case's integrity during impact, according to an Air Force fact sheet. The Fordo site is about 90 metres in depth. It is not clear how much damage the bombings have done in Fordo. Trump threatens more strikes on Iran if peace does not come quickly
Washington, June 22 (UNI) U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran will face more military strikes if peace does not come quickly. Addressing the nation on Saturday evening, Trump said that Iran's key nuclear facilities had been "completely and totally obliterated," and that future attacks will be "far greater and a lot easier." "If peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes," he said. "Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear capacity," he said, calling the bombing a "spectacular" success. Violation of international law, says Iran's Atomic Agency on US bombing
New Delhi: Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation has stated that the attacks on its nuclear sites constitute a violation of international law. However, it did not clarify the extent of the damage caused by the strikes that US President Donald Trump announced earlier. Trump has said the US military carried out strikes on Iran's Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz atomic sites. The attack took place early on Sunday. Iran has said that it would not allow the development of its "national industry" -- an apparent reference to the country's nuclear development -- to be stopped. Tehran's agency said the attacks on its nuclear sites violate international law. "The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assures the great Iranian nation that despite the evil conspiracies of its enemies, with the efforts of thousands of its revolutionary and motivated scientists and experts, it will not allow the development of this national industry, which is the result of the blood of nuclear martyrs, to be stopped," it said in its statement. On June 13, Israel began airstrikes on Iran, destroying several infrastructures and killing dozens of Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. In response, Iran has carried out missile and drone attacks on various locations in Israel.
