And now, the actor has been spotted in a new look for his first real-life based character in Galwan clash movie, subtly confirming his next venture.
In a new viral picture on social media, Salman Khan can be seen donning a special moustache look. Reportedly, the fresh look is a part of Salman Khan's preparation towards his role in the upcoming movie. The actor will be seen playing the character of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, who led the 16 Bihar regiment during a violent conflict with Chinese troops at Galwan Valley in 2020.
Fans are elated after seeing the new look and have started praising the actor for his commitment to his next venture. Reacting to the viral picture, a fan wrote, 'Shape mein thoda thoda jaa raha hai look.' Another user expressed excitement and wrote, 'Bhai ka recent pic dekh ke Sultan ki yaad aa gayi."

For the unversed, Salman Khan is presently focusing on a strict diet and channelising intense workouts to get into the required shape of an army man. It will be the first time that the actor will be seen playing a soldier in a full-fledged feature film after his brief role in Heroes and Jai Ho. The yet-untitled movie is based on a novel, 'India's Most Fearless 3', written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
As we reported earlier, the movie is slated to go on the floors in July 2025. It will be shot in real-life locations of Leh and Ladakh apart from a major schedule in Mumbai. Salman Khan will be accompanied by the three new-gen actors for which the casting is currently underway. It will be Bhaijaan's immediate next after Sikandar.

But at the heart of it all is the director, the true captain of the ship, who brings the entire vision to life. While it is the star actors who are paid hefty to bring the audience, it is India's highest-paid director who charges even more than actors like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. It is SS Rajamouli who holds the title of India's highest-paid film director. The Telugu filmmaker charges around ₹ 200 crore for each film he directs as per IMDd. It is said to include his upfront fees, profit share, and bonus for the sale of rights. His share can even climb higher depending on the success of the film. For instance, RRR was a global success, fetching even Academy Awards. Rajamouli was reportedly paid ₹ 200 crore after the success of his Baahubali franchise. SS Rajamouli's massive paycheck highlights his superstar status among directors. When RRR was promoted in North India, it was marketed as Rajamouli's film, despite having two major actors, Ram Charan and Jr NTR from the South industry. It happened so because of the Baahubali films which made him a household name across India. Baahubali 2 alone earned ₹ 510 crore in Hindi, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film for six years until Pathaan's release in 2023. Similarly, RRR also did impressive business at the ticket window, collecting over ₹ 270 crore in its Hindi version. Directors like Sukumar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Siddharth Anand also charge a big amount, with each earning over ₹ 40 crore for a single film, yet nowhere close to the RRR director. Meanwhile, Hindi filmmakers like Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty who usually produce their own movies, make money through profit-sharing. They are said to not charge money as their fees.

Housefull 5 Opening Weekend Box Office: Akshay Kumar starrer flirts with Rs 80 crore in 3 days
The Akshay Kumar-led comic caper, Housefull 5, has scored good results at the box office in its opening weekend in India. According to early estimates, the Sajid Nadiadwala-produced entertainer has collected Rs 29.25 crore on the third day, taking the first-weekend collection in the vicinity of Rs 79.75 crore. The film has done well in the urban and rural areas, though the real test begins from Monday, as the weekend biz is just half the work done. For those unaware, Housefull 5 opened at Rs 22.00 crore on Friday, followed by a spike in business to Rs 28.50 crore on Saturday (Bakri Eid) and Rs 29.25 crore on Sunday. The target for Housefull 5 will be to be as close as possible to the Rs 10 crore mark, and then put in another Rs 25 crore from Tuesday to Thursday, taking the first week total to Rs 114 crore. If the film scores in North of Rs 10 crore, it is well on track to enter the Rs 200 crore club, and for that matter, even the biggest Housefull film to date. A day in the range of Rs 8.00 crore to Rs 10.00 crore will keep in line for a Rs 175 crore finish in India. The first-weekend business is the second best for Akshay Kumar in the post-Covid world after Sooryavanshi, as also the second best of 2025 for the Hindi Film industry. The best-performing circuit for Housefull 5 on Sunday was Gujarat, and this is a positive sign, as a comedy film often overperforms in the long run based on the support from Gujarat. The weekend results are good, though 3-day results around the Rs 85 crore mark would have been an ideal result for the film and the makers, as far as the trend from Rs 22 crore is concerned. All eyes are now on the Monday test.
