Katy Perry suffers near wardrobe malfunction after her bra pops off onstage in Vegas

New York Post20-05-2025

You know what they say about California Gurls.
Katy Perry came dangerously close to suffering a wardrobe malfunction when her bra broke during her Las Vegas show over the weekend.
The 'Fireworks' singer, 40, was running around on the stage on Saturday, May 17, in a bejeweled bra top, matching underwear and thigh-high boots while singing her hit 'Part of Me' when her mic pack appeared too heavy for the tiny strap.

Seemingly popping open, Perry abruptly halted on the stage during her 'Lifetimes' tour.

Thankfully, Perry was quick on her feet and grabbed the back of the rhinestone bra just in time to prevent an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
'Oh s–t, my bra is gonna come off,' Perry said into the microphone.
The musician then summoned her assistant to the stage and asked for help fixing the wardrobe issue.

'Put my bra back on, Patrick,' Perry quipped, per Us Weekly, before telling the audience, 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.'

''Sorry guys you didn't pay that much,'' one person laughed. 'This is the funniest thing I've ever seen,' shared a second.
Perry started the US leg of her 'Lifetimes Tour' on May 7 after being launched into space as part of Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space mission.
Her tour has been plagued with controversy, with haters accusing her of tailoring the outfits, choreography and several props as a homage to her highly-critiqued space voyage.
Perry faced further backlash this weekend when it was claimed that she's allegedly no longer wanted in Sin City after her three-year residency at Resorts World reportedly tanked, losing the hotel and casino money.

'The residency was a disaster for Resorts World, a complete failure,' a source told Paula Froelich of NewsNation.
'There was a bidding war between Resorts World and Caesars … and Caesars technically lost out — but in the end, Caesars won,' the insider explained, before revealing how much Perry allegedly made during her stay.
'Katy was getting paid between $750,000 and $900,000 a show because of the bidding war and the entire run she underperformed and Resorts World lost money,' the source claimed.

The Post reached out to Perry's rep for comment.
While the 'Last Friday Night' singer has yet to address the latest allegations, she did show gratitude to her die-hard fans after they launched a worldwide project to congratulate the hitmaker on her 'Lifetimes Tour' with a temporary billboard in Times Square, reading, 'Know that you are safe, seen and celebrated.'
'Please know I am ok, I have done a lot work around knowing who I am, what is real and what is important to me. My therapist said something years ago that has been a game changer, 'No one can make you believe something about yourself that you don't already believe about yourself,' and if I ever do have any feelings about it then it's an opportunity to investigate the feeling underneath it,' she said in part.

She also shared that 'when the 'online' world tries to make me a human piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, cause I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed.'
'What's real is seeing your faces every night, singing in unison, reading your notes, feeling your warmth,' Perry concluded, referring to connecting with fans in ways other than at her shows.

Senior Cat Catches Plumber Near His Cupboard—Makes His Feelings Very Clear

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Cats are territorial creatures, so it may not come as a surprise to see this one losing his temper with a plumber working near his cupboard. The 15-year-old cat, named Arthur, can be seen sitting on the floor next to the worker's feet, meowing continuously—but to TikTok's delight, it seems the plumber speaks cat too. The video of Arthur meowing—only to be answered with a "meow" from the plumber—quickly went viral, racking up 2.7 million views since it was posted on May 28. "He loves a good moan," the owner commented, noting that this kind of behavior isn't unusual for the tuxedo cat, known as @mrmeowsalot on TikTok. The clip, captioned: "Telling the plumber to get out of his cupboard," has been a huge hit online, racking up 610,900 likes and over 1,200 comments. "I LOVE that he was responding to the cat," said one comment with 147,900 likes. "Nice to see a plumber who can speak fluent cat," joked another user. A third commenter shared their theory: "I love that they don't care which human is in the kitchen, if there's a human in the kitchen [and] they're not being fed, time to complain." Like humans, some cats are more talkative than others. It's their way of communicating, and there are many reasons why they may meow, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Common Reasons Why Cats Meow A stock image of a black and white cat with a distorted facial expression. A stock image of a black and white cat with a distorted facial expression. Mating Behavior: Unneutered or unspayed cats may yowl to attract or access mates. While some breeds are known for being naturally chatty, there is a chance that frequent meowing is a sign of a medical condition. The ASPCA encourages owners to visit a veterinarian to ensure a medical condition is not the cause of the cat's distress. Even if a cat has always meowed for food, their health changes as they age, and they are prone to developing an overactive thyroid and kidney disease—either of which may result in excessive meowing. Blue Origin will provide a webcast of the launch beginning about 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled liftoff. Six more space tourists are preparing to join the growing ranks of civilians who have flown on a Blue Origin rocket to the edge of space. The vehicle they'll ride to orbit, Blue Origin's New Shepard, is the same one that 58 others have ridden to space on 11 previous human spaceflights from the company's west Texas facility. The New Shepard's maiden voyage in July 2021 with a crew even included billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who also owns the space technology company. New Shepard is composed of both a rocket and a crew capsule, which is outfitted with large windows for its passengers to glimpse spectacular views that most of us will never see. The rest of us will instead have to content ourselves with watching the mission on solid ground. Fortunately, Blue Origin will provide a livestream for the launch and spaceflight. Here's everything to know about Blue Origin's next human spaceflight and how to watch a livestream. When is the next Blue Origin launch? What to know about New Shepard liftoff, crew What is Blue Origin? Billionaire Jeff Bezos, best known for founding Amazon, is the founder of the private space technology company Blue Origin. Bezos himself even boarded Blue Origin's New Shepard for its maiden crewed voyage in July 2021, which came after the spacecraft flew on 15 flight tests beginning in 2012. For nearly four years since its first crewed mission, the New Shepard spacecraft has served as a powerful symbol of Blue Origin's commercial spaceflight ambitions amid a growing space tourism industry. In addition to sending space tourists on brief joy rides to the edge of space, Blue Origin has also increasingly sought to compete with Elon Musk's SpaceX. Blue Origin's massive New Glenn rocket, which flew on its inaugural flight test in January, is also being developed for future spaceflights. At 320 feet tall, the spacecraft rivals SpaceX's 400-foot Starship in size. When is the next Blue Origin launch? Blue Origin's next crewed launch, known as NS-32, could get off the ground as early as 9:30 a.m. ET (8:30 a.m. CT) Saturday, May 31, the company announced announced Tuesday, May 27. Paul Jeris, a real estate developer and entrepreneur What happens during a New Shepard rocket launch? Each spaceflight on a New Shepard vehicle lasts about 11 minutes from liftoff to capsule touchdown. Named after astronaut Alan Shepard, the first American in space, the 60-foot-tall New Shepard rocket is topped with the gum drop-shaped crew capsule. During its ascent, the spacecraft reaches supersonic speeds surpassing 2,000 mph before the rocket booster separates from the crew capsule. At that point, those aboard the capsule become weightless as the spacecraft continues toward its highest point on its brief voyage above the Kármán Line – the 62-mile-high internationally recognized boundary of space. While experiencing a few minutes of microgravity, passengers have the opportunity to unstrap themselves from their seats to gaze out the capsule's large windows and take in a stunning view of Earth. Meanwhile, the rocket booster heads back to the ground while firing its engines and using its fins to slow and control its descent to land vertical about two miles from the launchpad. The capsule itself eventually begins what Blue Origin refers to as a "stable freefall' – plummeting back to Earth as three massive parachutes deploy and the capsule makes a soft landing in the desert, sending up plumes of dust. Fact Check: Barron Trump didn't marry Princess Leonor of Spain

Claim: In 2025, Barron Trump married Princess Leonor of Spain in a royal wedding held at a European palace. Rating: In May 2025, a rumor spread across social media claiming that Barron Trump, the youngest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, had married Princess Leonor of Spain. The story was pushed by several YouTube videos, one of which was titled, "Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Grand Royal Wedding at a Magnificent Palace," and reached over 146,000 views. The video's description read: Step into a world of elegance and history as we unveil Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Grand Royal Wedding at a Magnificent Palace. Set in a timeless European palace, this royal ceremony captures the grace, tradition, and grandeur of old-world nobility. From the majestic processional to the heartfelt vows, every moment feels like a scene from a fairytale. Witness the union of American and Spanish heritage in a wedding unlike any other. Similar videos about the alleged wedding of Barron Trump and Princess Leonor appeared in early 2025, including titles such as "Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Singing - Double Happiness | Royal Wedding at the Royal Palace," "Barron Trump and Princess Leonor's Royal Wedding at the Spanish Royal Palace," and "Barron Trump Marries Princess Leonor – A Royal Love Story Come True." Most of these videos featured sentimental music, portraying the pair singing romantic duets. Similar clips spread on other social media platforms, including TikTok and Facebook. However, none of these videos was based in reality. First, there were no credible news reports or official announcements from either the Spanish royal family or the Trump family confirming any such relationship or marriage between the two individuals. Princess Leonor, born in 2005 and currently heir to the Spanish throne, has been the subject of significant media attention, and any real engagement or marriage would have made news headlines. Additionally, the videos spreading the claim were explicitly labeled AI-generated, and many of the clips used in these videos displayed clear signs of artificial creation, including distorted facial features, unnatural skin textures, and inconsistent lighting or backgrounds. Therefore, we have rated this claim as false. The videos seemed to originate from the Lovely Trump Family YouTube channel (archived), which featured multiple videos with the same narrative (see screenshot below): (YouTube channel Lovely Trump Family) One YouTube video that featured a romantic song and allegedly showed scenes from Barron Trump's wedding reached over 1.8 million views as of this writing. It was captioned: Experience the magical royal wedding as Barron Trump and Princess Leonor of Spain perform a series of heartfelt songs at their grand wedding celebration. With their soulful voices, they sing beautiful ballads like "Our Forever Begins," "A Love Meant to Be," and "Promise of Forever." Each song is a tribute to true love, faith, and the journey of two hearts coming together. Set against the stunning backdrop of a royal palace and a luxurious setting, their emotional performance captures the essence of a fairytale romance. The enchanting lyrics, heartfelt melodies, and the radiant smiles of Barron and Princess Leonor create an unforgettable moment, making this royal wedding a truly magical event. Witness the joy, love, and celebration of two souls united in a grand and elegant ceremony. Like the other videos, it included an "AI Disclaimer" stating, "This video was created using AI technology for entertainment purposes. The voices, visuals, and performances of Barron Trump and Princess Leonor are generated using advanced AI software and do not represent real-life events." Despite this disclaimer, many users in the comments appeared to take the content at face value, praising the supposed couple and reacting as if the wedding had genuinely taken place. Additionally, a Google search for "Barron Trump Princess Leonor wedding" returned no relevant results beyond AI-generated content. ( In addition to disclaimers labeling the videos as AI-generated, the content itself contained numerous visual cues that it was artificially created. These included distorted facial features, unnatural skin textures, and lighting inconsistencies that are common artifacts of AI. For example, in one scene, a car's license plate appeared with jumbled, nonsensical characters that did not resemble any real-world format. In another scene purportedly showing a crowd at the alleged wedding, many of the attendees' faces were blurred, asymmetrical and unnaturally rendered. (YouTube channel Lovely Trump Family) The rumor appears to have originated purely from speculative posts on social media. One of the earliest and most widely shared examples came from an X user in October 2024, who wrote, "Barron Trump and the Princess of Spain Leonor are a match made in heaven. Same age, no previous relationships, good values, good looking and with a powerful family," reaching over 7 million views. The post was not based on any confirmed relationship, interaction or credible report involving the two individuals. Snopes has previously debunked several false claims involving Barron Trump, including a viral rumor that he was rejected by Harvard University and AI-generated videos that falsely portrayed him singing on America's Got Talent.
