Jamie Foxx Refutes Claim Diddy Allegedly Tried To Kill Him

As Diddy is currently undergoing trial for sex trafficking and racketeering in New York City, conspiracy theories of his alleged activities with other celebrities have run rampant. Jamie Foxx made it a point to dispel one that claimed the mogul tried to kill him, resulting in the medical emergency he had a couple of years ago. The Oscar-winning actor addressed it during a roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter which was published on Thursday (May 22).
During the roundtable, Foxx spoke about dealing with rejection as he was recovering from a stroke and seeing the chatter online. '[But] I snuck in my phone because I didn't know what the outside world was saying and I couldn't get my mind around the fact that I had a stroke. I'm in fucking perfect shape. [I see things like,] 'Puffy tried to kill me.' No, Puffy didn't try to kill me,' he said.
He wasn't as upset about that as he was about a conspiracy theory that said he was being cloned. 'When they said I was a clone, that made me flip. I'm sitting in the hospital bed, like, 'These b—h-ass motherf–—s are trying to clone me,'' he joked, adding: The psychiatrist says, 'Are you all right?' And I say, 'Am I all right or am I all white? I saw you trying to get the white motherfucking Jamie Foxx and it ain't going to happen.' He just calmly goes, 'I think we're going to lower your dosage.'
Foxx has already poked fun of the disgraced Bad Boy Records founder in his Netflix comedy special, What Had Happened Was , which premiered last December. 'The internet said Puffy was trying to kill me, that's what the internet was saying,' Foxx said to the audience. 'I know what you thinking, 'Diddy?' Hell no, I left them parties early.' He'd go on to joke that he would make sure to be 'out by 9' since 'something [didn't] look right' at Diddy's parties which have been alleged to have turned into debaucherous sex parties called 'Freak Offs'.
The trial, which is currently in its second week, has already seen explosive testimony from Diddy's former partner, Cassie Ventura as well as singer Dawn Richard. Rapper and actor Kid Cudi has been on the witness stand for the last few days, testifying about Diddy allegedly destroying his car with a Molotov cocktail in retaliation for him dating Ventura.

Robert De Niro Talks Supporting Trans Daughter

Robert De Niro is the father of 7 children, ranging in age from 57 to 2. And in April, his 29-year-old daughter Airyn found herself in the spotlight when she came out as transgender. In an April 29 interview with Them, Airyn — whom Robert shares with his ex, Toukie Smith — opened up about 'stepping into [her] new identity,' saying: 'There's a difference between being visible and being seen. I've been visible. I don't think I've been seen yet.' 'Trans women being honest and open, especially [in] public spaces like social media and getting to see them in their success… I'm like, you know what? Maybe it's not too late for me. Maybe I can start,' she added. You can read the full interview here. Robert is pretty private when it comes to his personal life. However, the Oscar-winner wasted no time voicing his support for his daughter, telling Variety in a statement on April 30: 'I loved and supported Aaron as my son, and now I love and support Airyn as my daughter. I don't know what the big deal is. I love all my children.' So, as Airyn received tons of support online, Robert was also praised for his straight-up comments on the news, with fans pointing out that it 'really is that simple' to be loving and accepting of the trans community and those around you. And now, at this week's Tribeca Film Festival, Robert was asked about his support of Airyn and his six other children in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, prompting him to deliver yet another perfect no BS response. Discussing the importance of allowing his children to be authentically themselves, he said: 'The main thing is to support your kids. As long as they're not hurting themselves, doing anything that's destructive or anything like that, you have to support them. Period.' "Whatever it is, you have to support them," he added. "And they have to know that you support them. Always." He's a man of few words, and he does it so well. It really is that easy. You can find the full ET interview here.

‘Sixth Sense' Star Haley Joel Osment Sentenced After April Arrest

A California judge has made a ruling after Oscar-nominated actor Haley Joel Osment was arrested for suspected public intoxication, People reported. Sixth Sense star Osment was arrested on April 8 in Mammoth Lakes, CA, on charges of alleged public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in a local court on June 2. During his arraignment, Osment requested and was granted a one-year diversion which requires him to attend three AA meetings each week for the next six months. Osment must also meet with his therapist at least twice weekly during the next six months and obey all to the outlet, the Mono County district attorney's office objected to Osment's diversion request because of the actor's previous DUI conviction. They also cited Osment's use of racial slurs towards arresting officers as reason the diversion should not have been granted. During his arrest, Osment accused one officer of being 'a f---ing Nazi' and use an antisemitic slur against another. If Osment completes the diversion program, the court will dismiss all charges related to the most recent incident. However, criminal proceedings will be reinstated if Osment does not complete the program. Osment will next appear in court on Jan. 5, 2026, when the judge will review his compliance with the issued an apology back in April for the 'disgraceful language' he used during his arrest, explaining that 'the past few months of loss and displacement' after losing his home in January's Eaton fire 'have broken me down to a very low emotional place.' "I'm absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner," Osment said in his statement. "But that's no excuse for using this disgusting word. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to absolutely everyone that this hurts. What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage—I've let the Jewish community down and it devastates me. I don't ask for anyone's forgiveness, but I promise to atone for my terrible mistake."Though Osment is best known for his adolescent roles in The Sixth Sense and Pay It Forward, he's maintained a busy career in subsequent years with over 130 acting credits. Most recently, he appeared opposite Channing Tatum in Zoë Kravitz's 2024 thriller Blink Twice.'Sixth Sense' Star Haley Joel Osment Sentenced After April Arrest first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 3, 2025

At Combs Trial, ‘Jane,' an Ex-Girlfriend, to Testify About Sex Abuse

A second woman who prosecutors say was sex trafficked by Sean Combs is set to take the stand on Thursday at his federal trial in what is expected to be several days of testimony about drug-fueled sex marathons with male prostitutes known as 'freak-offs.' A judge has allowed the woman to testify anonymously, and she is being referred to in court by the pseudonym 'Jane.' She is the most significant witness since Casandra Ventura, Mr. Combs's on-and-off girlfriend of 11 years, whose allegations of physical and sexual abuse gave rise to the criminal case. Prosecutors have said that Jane's relationship with Mr. Combs mirrored the one he had with Ms. Ventura in many ways. Like Ms. Ventura, they have said, Jane was coerced into freak-offs through violence, financial control and threats related to videos of the sexual encounters, which they said Mr. Combs directed step by step. Unlike Ms. Ventura, who is a singer known as Cassie and a public celebrity, Jane's identity has not been revealed. The government has described Jane as a single mother who started spending time with Mr. Combs in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the music mogul, agreeing to participate in an initial freak-off to please him. 'Jane thought the first freak-off was a one-time, wild night,' Emily Johnson, one of the prosecutors, said at the start of the case. 'Jane was wrong.' Want all of The Times? Subscribe.
