Marcel Schneider stays in front at Austrian Alpine Open

RTÉ News2 days ago

Marcel Schneider kept his nose in front at the Austrian Alpine Open as he chases a first DP World Tour title.
The German shot a flawless third-round 66 to move to 15-under-par, one clear of compatriot Nicolai von Dellingshausen.
Schneider made his first birdie of the day at the ninth, and then notched three birdies in a row from the 11th to the 13th.
It leaves Schneider in pole position as he aims to complete a wire-to-wire victory on Sunday.
Dane Jeff Winther is third on 13-under thanks to a superb eight-under-par 62.
Ireland's Conor Purcell had a difficult day at the office. He carded a 74 to tumble down the leaderboard, and sits on three-over.
