Police probe death of well-known DJ in 'mysterious circumstances' as body found

Music star DJ Hazel has been found dead at the age of 44. The musician, real name Michał Orzechowski, was found dead in a car in Poland on Wednesday.
The cause of death is unclear, which has prompted a police investigation due to "mysterious circumstances". He was found near Skępe, Lipno County on May 7, according to reports from TVP3 Bydgoszcz.
Police spokeswoman Małgorzata Małkińska confirmed when the DJ's body was discovered and told the Pinnacle Gazette that authorities are attempting to clarify the situation, reports The Mirror.
DJ Hazel was a key figure in the electronic music scene across Europe since launching his career back in 1998. He even got the nickname of 'Fastest Hands of Europe' thanks to his skills.
The musician also won the title of European Vice-Champion at the European DJ Championships held in Germany. Tributes have poured in for the star as fans paid respects to the late artist.
DJ Hazel's fiancée Zosia shared a heartbreaking message alongside a photo of them together. In a post translated from Polish, she wrote: "Yessss music brought us together... this was Our one of many favourites.
"My sweet friend... My sweet fiance... My partner in crime... Our home heroes... No one and nothing is and will ever be able to replace you."
She added: "In one second you made my heart beat faster after years and in one second it was shattered into a million pieces that could never be put back together. I don't say goodbye to you, my dear Bear, you just wait for me. I love you with all my broken heart !!! How am I supposed to cope without you."
Polish DJ Pawbeats said: "DJ Hazel is dead, I can't believe it. Michał was one of the first who wasn't afraid of totally 'unacceptable' combinations for those times, like playing "Weź piórkę" with Pawbeats Orchestra at Przystanek Woodstock.
"Thank you for the most famous bubble in Poland, for those 15 bubbles, for being a total dude with an inimitable distance and a mine of anecdotes at every meeting in Bydgoszcz (and not only). My heart breaks."
DJ C-Bool added: "Michael... DJ Hazel I can't believe this... why? So long, my friend... Farewell Legend! I'll remember you in this picture. Condolences to all the family."
Another shared: "My heart breaks at the news of the death of DJ Hazel- a true Polish patriot. His music was amazing, full of energy and passion. My condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace Hazel. Your music will never die."
Another mourner commented: "DJ Hazel, a Pole, a legend, has died. He should be in national mourning." A fan wrote: "Sad news spreads that DJ Hazel, a legend of Polish clubbing, has died #djhazel #clubbing #smutne."
One other person shared: "The saddest party in Poland. DJ Hazel, aka Michał Orzechowski, has died. Thanks for all the parties played in Łódź. We express our condolences to the family and loved ones."
DJ Hazel played at hundreds of club events over the years and collaborated with various Polish artists. He was best known for his techno, electro house, progressive house, trance, hard trance and hardstyle music.

Chilling message sent by Madeleine McCann suspect to other paedophile uncovered

The prime suspect in Madeleine McCann's disappearance made a harrowing remark to a fellow paedophile, it has been claimed. According to a new Channel 4 documentary about the missing child, produced in collaboration with The Sun, horrific evidence found at convicted paedophile Christian Breuckner's property included images of children in swimming costumes, toddler toys, and sickening child kidnapping stories. An 80GB hard drive was found consisting of images and a laptop key, which may have prompted investigators to link the suspect to Madeleine's disappearance, reports The Mirror. The hard drive also placed Brueckner at the heart of the search location in Arades Dam, in Portugal. The documentary revealed that Brueckner allegedly made a sick admission about wanting to "capture something small and use it for days," along with images of child abuse. He also is said to have threatened it would not matter if "evidence is destroyed afterwards" before adding: "I'll make a lot of films... hehe." There have even been assertions that police have proof of Madeleine's death. "They are certain that he's the man who did it and they do have evidence that they haven't revealed," said Jon Clarke, a journalist and author of My Search for Madeleine. However, he clarified that they require all pieces of the puzzle to engage in a "tactical game" with Brueckner, who is backed by formidable legal representation. Brueckner is due to be released from jail in September if no further charges are brought. In October last year, he was cleared by a German court of unrelated sexual offences, alleged to have taken place in Portugal between 2000 and 2017. Leads have been few and far between since little Madeleine disappeared during a family holiday to the Algarve some 18 years ago. Last week, the most recent search for any clues related to Madeleine's disappearance lasted three days in Praia da Luz. It took place close to where Brueckner is known to have had camped. German and Portuguese police came together this week to search every property and pieces of land linked to Brueckner, ahead of his September release. This search, the most significant since 2008, included an abandoned farmhouse surrounded by partially collapsed outbuildings. Police were spotted removing mounds of earth from the scene, which was then taken away in plastic bags for further examination. Firemen were also spotted draining an abandoned well. Now, police are investigating samples of 'clothes and bones' found in last week's search, it is claimed. Initial reports suggested the operation - which took place 30 miles from where three-year-old Madeleine went missing in May 2007 - had failed to turn up any new leads. But now, it has been claimed that fragments of clothing and bones are to undergo testing this week after being uncovered at the scene. A source told Berlin Morning Post: "Several objects have apparently been discovered, which are now being examined in more detail by the police in the laboratory. "As Portuguese media report, clothing debris and bones were found, among other things. The investigators have not officially commented on whether the finds could have anything to do with Madeleine's disappearance but that is clearly their hope."

Major breakthrough in Madeleine McCann case as new evidence uncovered

Investigators involved in the probe into Madeleine McCann's disappearance 18 years ago could strengthen their case against the prime suspect, Christian Brueckner, after new evidence emerged, a forensic expert has claimed. The Mirror reports how a disturbing new documentary into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal in 2007 has uncovered new evidence at Christian Brueckner's home, including photographs of young children in swimwear, toys and horrific stories of kids being kidnapped. Among the evidence was an 80gb hard drive that contained images, as well as a laptop key. The hard drive also placed Brueckner at the centre of the search location in the Arades Dam area, with the documentary reporting that the German suspect wanted to "capture something small and use it for days". Professor of Forensic Science at the University of Kent, Robert Green, believes discovering "musk, guns, and hard drive" may warrant a more "thorough investigation" into Brueckner's past. He told The Mirror: "The discovery of items such as a musk, guns, and particularly the hard drive, indicates a potential link to further criminal activity, which may warrant a more thorough investigation of the suspect's past. "The rationale behind the renewed search could stem from the ongoing pursuit of justice in the Madeleine McCann case and the hope that any additional evidence could lead to a breakthrough. Investigators continually assess existing evidence and pursue lines of inquiry they believe could be fruitful, especially in cases that have remained unresolved for many years." A letter from Brueckner, who denies any involvement in the disappearance of the British girl, which was recently discovered is believed to have been targeted at police in Germany and their attempts to connect the convicted criminal to Madeleine's disappearance in Portugal. German publication Bild quotes the note as reading: "Are there any traces of her in my vehicle? Any other traces of her in my possession? Photos? Is there a body? No, no, no." Brueckner was also placed at the location of a search for Maddie by a document in which he allegedly said "she did not scream" as he discussed the British toddler with an associate. He also shared a harrowing kidnapping story, including: "A very small girl enters the room. She's definitely not older than five." Last week, the latest search for clues into the disappearance of Madeleine was launched by both German and Portuguese authorities. The search, conducted between Praia da Luz - where Madeleine disappeared on May 3, 2007 - and the area where Brueckner resided lasted a number of days. It's understood that Brueckner spent time in Praia de Luz between 2000 and 2017 and his home was quite close to the Ocean Club, the accommodation in which the McCann family were staying when she suddenly disappeared.

Love Island fans fume at 'lame' new format of show

Love Island has only hit screens but Tuesday night's opening twist had some viewers turning heads, and ruffled the feathers of others. The girls were all smiles as they arrived into the villa, ready to meet their potential summer soulmates, but excitement quickly turned to surprise thanks to host Maya Jama, The Mirror reports. Instead of the usual coupling ceremony based on first impressions, this year the boys were kept out of sight, with the girls being given six glowing hearts with a short dating profile of one of the lads. Each profile revealed just five things: name, age, height, job, and one cheeky line about their dating style. Without having to see a single face, and with only this information to go, the girls had to decide who to couple with - and they only had a few minutes to decide before Maya counted down. Once every girl was locked into their chosen profiles, the moment of truth arrived and the boys entered one by one, meeting the girls who'd taken a punt on them. Some of the cast members looked pleased with their choices, whereas others had a bit of an awkward first meet as one of the girls admitted she was only "fifty-fifty" about her match. Sadly, fans were less than impressed with the new format, which was branded "lame" on social media by viewers who insisted "I want out". One person hit out: "This is such a lame twist because there's no drama or mystery about who will end up with who." Another chimed in: "If this is the twist that is bigger than ever this year, I want out. It's not MAFS." A third moaned: "This twist has done the male islanders dirty, I'm expecting fit fitties coming out with these bios and then we got a load of understudies." Someone else said they are still hoping there is another switch-up coming, complaining that so far season twelve feels like "a copy and paste" of all the previous ones. On the other hand, some viewers were pleased to see the girls taking a chance on men based on their personalities rather than their looks. One person gushed: "Okay I love the twist on how they're pairing them." It comes as fans issued another complaint, with some calling for a change. The screaming from the girls in the villa left fans calling it "painful". One fan posted: "8 minutes in and I'm already sick of the screaming." Another agreed: "God girls stop screaming!!!!" as a third added: "All this screaming on entering the villa is so unnecessary, you're not 10." A fourth fan posted: "I can't bear the screaming," as another said: "The start of the season is always PAINFUL bc of all the damn screaming."
