Prabhas fans have been eagerly waiting for Salaar 2 and the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. But looks like they have to hold on a bit longer. As per the latest information, the pan-India superstar has reportedly decided to delay work on both sequels to focus on his standalone films first. The actor is currently focusing on The Raja Saab.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Prabhas has multiple projects in the pipeline. The portal has quoted a source saying that the team has revealed that Prabhas wants to wrap up his standalone projects first and then take time to complete the sequels to Salaar and Kalki. Prabhas still needs to shoot two special songs for The Raja Saab.
Post this, he will begin shoot for Fauji. About 50% of the period drama has been completed till date, with the rest likely to be wrapped up shortly. Once he is done with these two films, Prabhas will move on to do Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit and will shoot non-stop until mid-2026.
The most anticipated teaser of Prabhas' film is finally here! The actor, who has taken a break from the action and fantasy dramas, will headline the new horror-comedy. The film also stars Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal as female leads. Sanjay Dutt also plays a pivotal role in the film.
The Raja Saab begins by introducing fans to a haunted mansion, soaked with dark secrets from the past. As sinister energy and spirits lurk in the night, Prabhas takes it as a mission to wipe out the evil. The teaser consists of all the crucial elements of a Prabhas film – there's a massy entry, dance, dialogues, and the actor perfectly balancing action with comedy. One of the show-stealers from the Hindi version of the teaser has to be Prabhas asking Nidhhi whether she's ever fallen in 'Shah Rukh Khan wala pyaar". 'Here we go……. #TheRajaSaab Teaser out now! In theatres from Dec 5th, 2025," wrote the actor while presenting his latest work to all his Darlings.
The Raja Saab is produced by People Media Factory and Viswa Prasad. The film is set to release on December 5, 2025, in five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Directed by Maruthi, the film's music is composed by Thaman S.
